Oh my gosh, Steph is an amazing teacher! She took the time to ensure small groups of children were speaking and repeating. In this way, she could ensure that no child was missing out on a learning opportunity. Her annunciation was awesome! Many teachers do not take the time to pronounce words clearly, which is very important.
It's nice to see you create contents like this. This is such an inspiration for me to come up with more interesting contents to share how teaching life is like here in Vietnam. I wouldn't be able to film my classes due to our Company's policy but hopefully I can come up with similar content.

take good care there Bro, greetings from Indonesia..Teaching English is my mission here in Indonesia as an Indonesian once was working outside our country.
I just realized that in 2017 when I was visiting there I actually walked by that building multiple times. Every time I watch the different videos things about that area looks familiar to me but until you actually walked in front of the market I didn't realize where it was.
Hey Alex you should have given people info on accommodations while you walked around the Mekong Delta. Watching this video really tugs at my heart because of how much I love Vietnam and Thailand. Thanks for this and Be well.👍😎
In Google map, search for the name of the school: "ngoia ngu super minds". It is a village! But there are lots of bigger towns on the northern Mekong. So far I've stayed in My Tho, Vinh Long, Sa Dec (flower nurseries), and Cao Lanh which I liked the best.
The energy in Steph's classes were awesome from what I saw. There was probably no way to save the mural from the old location. It was beautiful. Hopefully you guys will find another great location with an amazing view. Later I definitely will sign up for the in-class course as it would be very helpful. Awesome content as usual, never expect less from Ninja Teacher. Best of luck to you all.
good to see kids starting to learn at young age which is very good. What is the tuition for each kid? How do you communicate with kids at the beginning when they know zero english?
Hello, sir! I need help if you can answer me in person or someone here watching this video and has experience teaching English in VN. I am from Algeria and I have been teaching English for 9 years. I have just started the procedure to move to Vietnam with Up2u agency whose manager is gonna look for a job contract for me. I wanna know which city is better to teach there? A countryside or a big city ?! How is the life there comparing to teachers' salary ?! Is everything affordable ?! PS: I wanna move with my 2 years old daughter . Thanks in advance for your answer.❤💜
Hi Alex, I have completed 120 hours TEFL....I have 10 years of teaching experience I'm looking for an opportunity to teach overseas. Can you share any leads
Hey, they’re currently suspended until travel restrictions to Vietnam are lifted but you can get in touch with us www.ninjateacher.com to stay up to date on when we start running them again.
Hey in seeking a sponsorship to help me get a business visa to fly to Vietnam. Any advice? I have tefl cert and financial support. I need a career change! Looks amazing 😍
Traditional markets have different sections. The wet market is literally wet - picture fish in tubs, shellfish, raw meat hanging, butchers, water everywhere. The dry section will have packaged food, spices, coffee, housewares. Usually a sit down to eat, or take out prepared meal area too. And big motorbike parking zone.
I legit thought about applying to teach English in Vietnam but it's so scary because I am a native Vietnamese speaker but I haven't spoken Vietnamese conversationally for over a decade. I was afraid I lost it and didn't want to embarrass myself. I genuinely appreciate the work you're doing! Keep it up!
No foreign English teachers can speak Vietnamese. Students will love that you are from overseas, their idea of dream life. Also Vietnamese and Thai are not at all judgmental like you are used to in the West.
You will be fine as long as you avoid the "small" schools that only want white foreigners. I'm Vietnamese and taught back in 2019 in Saigon. I met a Vietnamese girl from the States and she taught just fine. We didn't use Vietnamese in the school at all and honestly, it didn't matter if you know the language or not. As long as you can teach and the kids connect with you, you're good.
@@dongnguyen558 Hey it is a good quiz for you, not hard! Ok: US, Canada, UK, Ireland, So Africa, Australia, New Zealand. That list is from the English Centers, private schools, that they put in advertisements. It is about accents. Parents assume teachers from those schools are the best so the English centers prefer them. However, in real life, there are lots of European, Russian, and Philippines teachers in Vietnam too.
AT LEAST YOU ARENT EATING, OK SHOW US AROUND I WANT TO HAVE A GLANCE , OF WHAT A LITTLE VILLAGE LOOKS LIKE IN VIETNAM, I SAW YOUR GIRLFRIEND PARQUED OUTSIDE

Should be having students answer “it’s a pencil” but was good besides that. Important not to let them fall into only using one word answers

Giving back to your small little town :)) that’s beautiful . Thank u Jenny, Stef and Alex
Great for the community, English language opens doors to higher education and modern jobs.

That town looks too small for accommodations. Agoda and Airbnb are pretty good sources. Lots of homestays down there too.

I am here, i was starting to wonder why you are not posting😊 thank you
Kudos to you Steph!
That center is the nicest building in the town!

The mural was the first thing I thought about when he mentioned they'd moved.
Interesting!!! I wish could work there!!
Awesome teacher.
Wonder what is the fee for these children taking the classes.
Hello! Will having a full sleeve ( not on hand ) limit me in Vietnam or can you just hide it ? Thanks !

At the moment it's difficult to find a company to sponsor you and very expensive. We'll post an update when the situation is better.
Vietnam is need many many English teacher like you. The way teach english in Vietnam is very bad. From Vietnam
Hi! What part of Vietnam are you from? I want to teach English in Vietnam:)
Mekong Delta has another English name: South Cochin.
Why do they not call it a farmer’s market instead of “Wet”?
Traditional markets have different sections. The wet market is literally wet - picture fish in tubs, shellfish, raw meat hanging, butchers, water everywhere. The dry section will have packaged food, spices, coffee, housewares. Usually a sit down to eat, or take out prepared meal area too. And big motorbike parking zone.
Why are they teaching English in rural Vietnam?
Learning new language isn't condoned to urban areas only.
Here is my question, how are you allowed to teach english when you are not even a native speaker or without any accent...its weird
I am from Vietnam
We wouldn't know with that name 🤣
Blyat!

Wow. Great video… but the female speech is wrong. It’s not Draw ING. It’s Drawing Without the R. Lol
The students r very respect the teacher not like in the USA, your students shot u or rob you, 😢
As long you know English, you can teach it. Don’t matter which race you are... right?
Yes, you can teach them slang language. Like, you talk “ wood “
Teaching English slang is funny. If they understand.
Helps a lot to get a job if you have a college degree and are a native speaker from one of the big 7 English speaking countries.
@@formica. what are those 7 countries?
