Had a KE2 but had to sell it years ago. This looks nice but would've thought that they would've made this in the USA. A little disappointing. But it sounds good. A metal machine.
Well Korea does make excellent instruments to be honest. Right there under Japan or USA in my opinion. They do make a USA model but it’s $5500 instead of $1500.
They have the USA models as well they were released 2 years ago and they are like 4 grand. xD Korea is a 1st world country that makes killer instruments so these are fine I’m sure.
Just bought a Kelly not a Jeff Loomis. It's all factory stock Jackson. I'll let you know how it sounds. + your comments are pretty harsh. You aren't a horrible player. Demo's aren't auditions, they are just to show how the guitar plays to some degree. I have gotten hand me down guitars and amps since I was 12 years old and I'm 49. I picked a guitar and amp I liked and could afford for around $1,000. If I don't like one or the other maybe I will trade or keep or buy new in about a year. I had 2 strokes and have to retrain my right hand coordination with my left.
Does the Kelly shape have any neck dive with a strap? I bought an old Jeff Loomis Schecter Cygnus and that was the most poorly balanced I’ve ever felt, I still love it though!
I have a kelly that has an alder body and it has no neck dive whatsoever I stopped playing V’s because they’re neck dive was always bad and that’s what drew me closer to the kelly
@@alessandro9740 neck dive is when the headstock side of the guitar is heavier than the body so when you let go of the neck it dives down towards the floor causing you to constantly need to hold the neck up while playing which can be extremely annoying. Gibson SG’s had a problem with neck dive.
I wanna buy a korean either king V or kelly with sh2/sh4 I wish they are gonna do that. I am selling my korean vmnt then hopefully I ll have enough money to buy something better.
Hey, what amplifier or plugin did you use? The boss katana? That tone is simply awesome. I think that you made the best review of this guitar on RUclips so far.
LOVE Jeff Loomis and his Kelly signature...but DAMN....I am NOT liking the sound of those pickups!! I would have to put some passive pickups in it personally!!!
Man would I love a Kelly. Jackson and Carvin are my favorites but sadly I only own 1 Jackson, a mid 90's PS4
I’m trying to get a PS5, but they are still hard to find. Sony has dropped the ball.
I have one Jackson as well a 2001 Made in Japan Rr5 Randy Rhoads V same guitar in my profile pic. My favorite Guutar

Ah, that's what I was hoping for. I am sure the USA model is even more amazing!

@@GuitarGuts so what is the difference between the U.S and Korean ones? Don’t they use the same parts
the flow of the grain on this one is much better than the ones on reverb rn. Did you already sell this one?
It’s not sold yet, i don’t have it advertised anywhere yet, just haven’t got around to listing it on reverb yet.

How does it balance

It does dip a little bit but it’s not bad. I’ve definitely played much worse.

@@Max-The-Axe sorry but what is neck dive?

@@Max-The-Axe oohh thanks, didnt know that
but i can understand why its annoying
beautiful guitar. but the bridge pickup is a bit rusted.
Hey man do you know which other Jackson's who are made in Korea?
And can you do a side by side comparaison with the rr24q please?
Great idea. I will do that.
I don’t know all the models, but there are quite a few apparently. Some soloists and DK’s.

Thanks!! It is the Katana!
Metal, yes please. But those cleans were buttery
How much does it weigh
It’s as heavy as it sounds... 8.5 pounds!!!
Do you still have this for sale?
Yeah email me or DM me on IG. Email: mark@guitarguts.com IG: @guitarguts
What up. I'm sure you've sold this thing by now, huh?
Yes it is gone now 🤘🏼
@@GuitarGuts Yeah, I figured lol. Looks and sounds like a dope guitar. Especially with the 12-16 👌 I guess I'm waiting until the end of May. Torture

His tone is shit not the pups
Ditch that katana! Shitty tone!!!
It actually sounds amazing he just has a bad tone tbh.
Your rig sounds like 2 pieces of plastic grinding against each other.
Thank you! Follow me on Instagram @guitarguts for more interesting posts!
Made a good guitar sound terrible! That tone 🤢
Kinda looks like jackson ripped off evil twin series from schecter. 🤷🏻♂️
Play metallica in a jackson is like play megadeth in a esp....
You know Master of Puppets was recorded on a Jackson King V right?
dave used esp as well xD
Just tried two of these. No life, dead wood, rubbery feeling, no resonance... I was so in love, but hell naah...
