- Sweet music, gay serenatas
Tropic skies of velvet blue
Magic gardens perfume the breezes
Where true love brought me to you!
Mexico, with all your romance
Your song of love will live forever after
Mexico, sweethearts are singing
Love birds are winging
Through a sky filled with laughter
Paradise, that's where I found you
Your magic smile made the blossoms bloom around you
Mexico, Why do I fell as I do?
I simply fell under the spell of you!
Paradise, that's where I found you
Your magic smile made the blossoms bloom around you
Mexico, why do I feel as I do?
I simply fell under the spell of you!
Of you...
This movie just doesn't get enough love :(
I know! I saw it when I was a kid and just found it again... we should make this more relevant now
This is one of my favorite Disney films and I love it
saludos desde brasil hermanos americos y mejicanos
Angel Caldwell yeah, I love it! It's a bit crazy tho, specially in the end kdkskssk
Can you tell me the name of this movie? been looking for it for a long time
My grandparents used to put this on for me a lot as a kid. Very nostalgic.
My husband is Mexican and introduced me to this film from his childhood. With this scene I fell in love all over again.❤
This movie means so much as a kid my dad wld made me watch it and I love it it's so magical and I loved this song as a kid.
Panchito surely made himself a great Mexican history teacher to all over the world because he speaks like a well educating teacher that knows the history of Mexico. I loved him and end up crediting him for teaching me and guiding me to understand his learning perspective on Mexico, its history and its culture. I went to Ensenada, Mexico before and it was a beautiful cultural place. So Panchito was right the whole time. Mexico is a beautiful country that made me wanna stay longer to learn and explore more about it. I feel like an enthusiastic, optimistic fan student of Panchito who pass on the wisdom or knowledge of Mexico's history to me. 🥰
This is truly enlightening and inspirational. This inspires me to view Mexico under a more beautiful light. Screw stereotypes
Edit: I have a best friend whose family is purely Mexican. She's a first generation born in Chicago. She's told me of some traditions she and her family perform when they all gather in Mexico, as well as little parts of Mexican history that's involved her family line
As a Mexican that didn't get to grow up in Mexico as I came to the USA as a baby this was super educational for me. Learning about my heritage and the origins of my nationality. It really brought the greatness of Mexico and its rich culture into view. Disney really did a great job with this movie. 😍🥰 🌻🌵🐓🦆🦜🌴🌺
That brilliant singer, I've just learned, is Carlos Ramirez.
Is it really him?
I thought it sounded like Jorge Negrete
Such an underrated gem of a movie
this is the permanent soundtrack of my brain
I’m in Mexico City right now, and it’s my second time visiting... I will tell you right now it’s my favorite city in the whole world, it fills me with so much happiness that I could cry. Everything and everyone is so beautiful. Viva México, the haters don’t deserve you
I love Mexico, and being a birder I've been to the real rural and wild Mexico. Not just the tourist areas. Going back in a few months! Can't wait! States I've been to include Tamaulipas, Nuevo Leon, San Luis Potosi, Veracruz, Puebla, Tlaxcala, Oaxaca, Chiapas, and Sonora. I'm about to add Quintana Roo and Yucatan.
I watched this with my grandmother many times as a child and never thought anything of it, 25 years later I moved to Mexico and this sweet memory came back all of a sudden in plaza de armas en CDMX when I saw the statue of the eagle from the flag and I just remembered my little abuelita teaching me about other cultures from small town Northern England and felt such gratitude. This film fills me with joy every time I think of it now. Good lord I miss Mexico
Just love these songs in this movie.. My four year old boy and I sing it all day when we watched it and that's almost every day literally... Especially the Baia Song!
I'm Mexican American and I love going to Mexico, so beautiful in every way, if there was no stupid grafitti on historic buildings, that would be cool.
You would have to blame thug and criminals like the cartel.
Graffiti is just another form of art.
I wouldn't blame you there with the grafiti
That was the thing that i hated the most, stupid kids have no respect painting their bullshit on historical buildings!
@@whitewolf9895the rhetoric/phrase "graffiti is art" has no merit and it's an excuse for vandalism for the sake of individual indulgence.
Patzcuaro! I've been there (family's original home is about 20 mins away from there).
3:20 That's the island of Janitzio in the background. That hill leading to the big statue at the top is covered with homes now, believe it or not :)
Tarquinus88 I believe it, because this film was taken 71 years ago.
If only the real Mexico could be more like this without the crime and corruption that has poisoned and made the culture look bad and dangerous. I'm Hispanic and it saddens me to hear the bad stuff that makes descent Mexicans look bad when they only want to live daily lives like everyone else. Makes me wish I could help countries that are in trouble.
Very beautiful words compadre, very beautiful words👏
I think that to myself every time I see this part of the movie. 🥺
Your absolutely right! When I think of this scene, I wish that this were the real Mexico. Instead, the "real" Mexico is nothing but a corrupt hell hole that has some nice things in it (if you ignore the bad things about the country).
I loved this movie as a kid and I still love it as an adult. It's a classic!
Mexico does sound like a cool place to visit
Yeah depending were you wanna go for sure 💀
I’d only come there for the food
Ignore your replies. It is a wonderful place to visit. It is sad that safety is a concern for many, but there are still beautiful places to enjoy. Puerto Vallarta will always have my heart.
@@kelseyhaight1698 You dont deserve the food.
Panchito speaks english
I can't believe it!!
viva México con todo y su "magic sarape"
Saludos!!
Bye!
Take care!

Yo tambien

Panchito has crazy magic powers.
I could imagine Panchito singing this.
Mexico always gets the spotlight when anything remotly Hispanic or even Latino is mentioned, its like the China of Hispanic America, I cant blame people , its beautiful, but I cant help to think its number one spotlight in the Hispanic Magazine among all the other Hispanic countries is ironically also partially thanks to the USA and the media attention it gave and gives it thanks to its closeness, actually makes sense when you think about it. From Argentina and Costa Rica I say, hermoso Mexico.
USA has nothing to do with it. Mexico has a very developed concrete rich culture from the food to the music. Its on another level to the rest of Latin America. The American Cowboy is from Mexico. Mexico has made USA famous had it not been for Mexican culture there would be no country music or cowboys and rodeo. So yea USA is not responsible for Mexican culture popularity we just happen to have USA as a neighbor its pure coincidence. Plus Mexico is the hollywood of latin America. Mexico made the best novelas, some of the best music and movies. Mexican cinema is renowned. None of that is USA influenced its Mexican culture and influence. A lot of foods originate in Mexico as well. Many hispanics would agree including brazillians and other countries worldwide that Mexico globally is very unique due to the strong culture that has developed there.
@blacksultan85 The funny thing is that Patzcuaro where the fishermen are, still looks the same today. You can visit and the men are out with their butterfly boats.
La historia de una nación se basa en la tradición ...
1:11 "Mexico, with all your robots"
it says "romans"
@@KillerAndMX I'm pretty it's made to be a joke.
@@KillerAndMX Its "romance" actually. And _robots_ was meant to be a joke.
@@KillerAndMX Don't fret, it was just a joke. XD
Sweet Music, happy mettings
Skies colored blue
Nice movings, and belivability.
Where love ment something for me!
Disney with all your Romance
Your songs will live forever after
Disney small families are happy
children are lauging
through parades filled of life and happines
In shadows, where she was crying
But with a laugh the blossoms bloomed around her
Disney why do I feel I need you?
I simple want to spell what that is left of you!
To all who wants or will one day make Disney!
GREAT music

Me emocioné mucho al ver esta parte >w< 😭🌈💕💕✨✨
Saludos desde Patzcuaro
I want to go visit Mexico 🇲🇽
LOVE THE SONG PEOPLE LOVE IT
It’s very romantic
Patzcuaro still is a fisherman's paradise.
2:45 is Xochimilco, just outside of Mexico City.
VÍVAAA MEXICOO!!! 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
My copy of this tape got so damaged that the audio died in segments because I played it so much for 10 years straight non stop till it became unwatchable
Is there a full song it's beautiful
This Magic Sarape reminds me of the Magic Carpet.
Much simpler times.
I just found out i'm mexican so this will be inspering
La Bandera Mexicana 🇲🇽
im from patzcuaro!! i cant believe i havent seen this!
I love this song. I so love to go Mexico City 🇲🇽 one day
Song starts here 0:39
What song name?
MEXICO SONG FROM DISNEY THE THREE CABALLEROS
I skipped the beginning cause I don’t speak Portuguese. I just watched Mexico part cause my parents and families are from Mexico
I think it is iconic how the symbols of Ravenclaw and Slytherin are the same creatures on the Mexican flag.
The X Has A Russian Pronuce X
but when they found the segual he sitting on a cautus a top of a rock, way out in the middle of a lake
Ayi ayi ayi
Katelyn Warner caramba. to build a city here would be almost imperceptible but they built and built and built some more until today believe it or not. the lake is full of Mexico City
Eagle, not seagull. Interestingly there was a debate as to whether the bird in question was a Northern Caracara, or a Golden Eagle.
What city is it in 2:50? Is it Taxco?
Flippyboy It is!
I always wondered what town that was. Taxco, Guerrero, huh? It has grown a bit in the past seven decades, but is still distinguishable. The hills surrounding it are quite lush now. In this film it looks like they either had a forest fire or the trees were harvested around the 1890s or early 1900s.
MEXICO BACK IN 1945 LOL!!!!!!!!!
Most likely 1943 or 1944. The movie was released at the end of 1944.
Educational scene
You know, the half of this entire film is about México 🇲🇽
That’s where the Minions from Despicable Me came from!
2023 and Patzcuaro is no longer a fisherman paradise :C
Why is Disney ding rebooting other movies when they have this one?
Because they are corporatist shills who need to cash in on every reboot they can create.
I'm tired of reboot
Let's hope they never reboot this movie into CG!! That'd be awful
@@spindalis79 I just want to thank you for being here in these comments. You brought me hope and joy on this day. Maybe not everyone is as blind to this as it seems.
@@MeiGoat Your worst nightmare has already happened and its just as bad as youd think
@@benstevens1575 Oh no...
porqué no hubo animación sobre la parte de México? hay puro concept art
rw:whats the song called when donald and jose got to baii yah when they met ya ya?
That song is called "Os Quindins de Yaya". Sung in Portuguese, naturally.
rw:thnx u
It´s fun imagin the Prince from Snow White Singing this song to her. It almost match.
That why building collaspe not to mention shoddy works and material
3:30 What kind of fishing boats are those?
Those things that you see on the sides of the boats are fishing nets
Those are called lanchas, and the thing you see in the front is called “Redes” which they use to catch the fish.
the singer sounds like Allen Jones!!!! Is it him? :-D
2:28
this is true
@turo9992000 that's what's up!!!!!!
An eagle destroys a serpent on a cactus on a rock in the middle of the lake? Ouch.
Someone needs to play this at a trump rally.
Don't let Donald Trump hear it.
You do realize these were the same Aztecs that carved people's chests open and pulled out their hearts as ritualistic sacrifice, right?
Actually it's very common error to call'em Aztecs, they were Mexicas (no, not Mexicans, but Mexicas).
and Many cultures did crazy stuff. Look at the egyptians they had torture devices that would tie your intestines onto rodand turn it like if it was a noodle slowly. Plus the vast methods of torture used by Rome Gladiaters and what about greece. All cultures had barbarism in the distant past. The vikings???? let that sink in!
The invasion of the Spaniards has been omitted.
They kinda ignored that part.
Why would that even be mentioned??? This talks about culture not the "Conquista" which was bloodshed.
Playing too fast. Most likely a European copy sped up from 24 to 25 fps.
.9 Speed sounds normal to me, just higher-pitched to avoid copyright
it seems that DONALD loves mexico !!! indeed, but which donald ?? of course not donald trump folks ! :)
i think u mean DONAL
gay serenatas?
back when this was made, "Gay" meant "happy," so it's Happy Serenatas.
Serenatas are Cantatas with pastoral subjects.
Cantata is a medium-length narrative piece of music.
so Happy Music, in a literal definition.
Pastoral is usually used to describe pieces of land, for animals or plants, usually made to be an ideal version of that lifestyle.
So "Gay Serenatas" truly means "Idealistic Happy Music"
And with the subject matter at hand, how jovial and endearing the music is and the movie surrounding this song, the context is there. Especially w/ Panchito being pure Mexican (aside from having a proper English VA) basically speaking from the heart about his culture to people *WHO ARE ACTUALLY WILLING TO LISTEN*
Where's the part about the drug cartels and kidnappings?
This was back in the 1940s...you know, before the CIA and Cubans ruined it.
It was in 1940 when the USA used to sell guns and arms to the European nations in the second world war instead of nowadays that the USA sell guns and arms to the cartels.
@@gabgab439 So very true.
