The next was in 95 vs the Bills I believe. The Pats came into that season with high hopes after a 10 and 6 campaign in 94. But started 95 at 1 and 5 but did win the Monday night game vs Buffalo. Ended the season at 6 and 10.
A number of years later Tony Collins was found to be on drugs and was unceremoniously drummed out of football damn shame. I think in 1983 he led the team in rushing and receiving. Well no wonder
Danny white belongs in the ring of honor 3 straight championship games first and only QB to start after being the back up for 4 years what’s the hold up Jerry jones wake up bro
the refs stole the nfc championship from the cowboys in 81 against the 49ers when danny white didnt really fumble his arm was all the way forward when the ball got knocked out of his hand! it was an incomplete pass!!!
Ha, ha. Matt was the QB for Tony Dorsett when they were at Pitt. I always thought after watching him play while I was at school, that Matt would have made a great pro QB. I don’t know what happened?
Is this the Monday night game where the Herald showed a picture on the front page the next morning showing a line of rowdy monday night friends hancuffed to a chain link fence by the not so friendly Massachusetts state troopers :)
@@johnletendre3292 i was 19 for my first pats game at Foxboro stadium in 1993. Cant say i probably didn't deserve to be hancuffed that day as well but even in 1993 i remember people telling me that i should have been around for the "shit show " that was foxboro \ sullivan \ shaeffer stadium back in the good ole days in the late 70's and early 80's. Those must have been some great times
Whatever. The penalties on the final team stats were Dallas 7 for 75 yards and NE 5 for 38 yards. Pats lost this game because they had 7 turnovers to Dallas only having one.
@@thegorn68 Yes, true. But a lot if crucial calls went the Cowboys' way. And I'm a Cowboys fan going back to '77. The games are largely fixed. Read the book 'The Fix is In' by Brian Tuohy.
Everson Walls 24 was that ONE MAN no one saw coming 11 interceptions ROOKIE yr.
Tom Landry called 24. Emerson in training camp, After 1 yr Everson Walls was well respected in the NFL by all teams.
Great catch Butch Johnson!!!!
New England should never have got rid of those old uniforms they were nice
Tony Dorsett was a sports car.
Exactly! 🔥
Cowboy fan here. I will say, those old NE unis were nice.
The 81 Patriots - probably the best 2-14 team ever !!
The Last Monday Night Football Game in Foxboro for a Very VERY Long Time!!

Everson Walls deserves Hall of game consideration.
No Doubt

Must be nice as a head coach not to have to worry about an Owner watching or second guessing your every move.
Yes, as in Clint Murchison (pronounced Murk-i-son)
What a game, priceless. So many memories...

@Coogan DREW PEARSON WAS HORSE COLLARD!!!!!!!
@Coogan no he was horse collard which is illegal
You’d always see Drew Pearson downfield blocking TD’s long runs.
Jerry Markbright.
cowboys were so good,
Worst team in the league vs 2nd best team in the league ... Patriots actually played well for a 2-14 team vs a 13-3 team
Did I hear Gifford say Matt C was having a fine night?
You know it is amazing Gifford was able to do his broadcasting job all those years with that hit he took from Bednarik.
Right before Matt C threw a pick.

+Classic Sports How Do you get these old sports videos?
If you can find it, a great game to consider would be 1992 Week 2 Dolphins at Browns (Marino vs. Kosar)
seems weird to see someone besides Brady wearing 12
Can u put the 1995 Christmas game with the Cowboys vs Cardinals pleas?
Nick Wilde I plan on putting it up on Christmas.
Classic Sports ok how about 1995 Cowboys vs chiefs

The ref's calls all seemed to go the Cowboy's way, conveniently
