    Thanks for an honest and very fair review of these engines. I too have tried both but went with the EOS150 because I believe lightweight is the future. It's less strain when carrying and on takeoff, transporting etc. Also I would be worried about the Moster exhaust issue that is still not resolved. EOS are a relatively new company but, as you said, they are always prepared to develop and improve their designs. Look out for the 4 stroke EOS Quattro soon to be released.

      Vittorazi has a new Exhaust for the moster 185. It's super nice. Should be available soon. Once it's available is when I plan on buying a moster 185. Finally a fix!

    I fly with atom80 with trike amd I feel the need of some extra power. I was thinking in buying a moster but after this video I am thinking about EOS150.
    I weigh 72kg, trike 8kg and fly with a fast wing: Niviuk Link2 size 25
    Any advice?

    you mentioned that it was cheaper but when i asked directly to EOS-engine (there is no dealer in my country) the price was +15% more expensive for the EOS150 than moster plus so i bought the mosterplus

      Gryngröt Havre I talked about the pricing in USA. I am sure that every country has different pricing. Moster plus is more expensive than EOS 150 here in USA

    Is that a wasp titanium frame? Ordered one, coming soon.

      anuanu69 we have the same supplier. I am the suppliers dealer in USA, where WASP is their dealer in Great Britain. If you live in USA I could have gotten you a good deal on one. With EOS 150 ICI, or Vittorazi Moster. You will be impressed with the frame. Super light and durable and very comfortable

    Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I like the idea of the 150 and prefer the weight and smoothness over the Moster but I have heard very negative reports about the failures of the 100 (not 150) and how the manufacturer didn't honour warranty on what was clearly a design issue. There is a very helpful write up on paramotorclub.org about this engine by someone who has one and is very forthcoming with information. Like I said, I like the concept but am concerned about service and warranty.
    Also, I believe it uses as much fuel as what the Moster uses but for less power....about the same power output as the AC Nitro I'm lead to believe. Could you share your experience regarding fuel consumption, please?

      Parasportz and they are true, for the models prior to March 2019. ICI models are much better. I have 10 hours on my motor without a hiccup. The dealer in Canada has 80 hours on his 150 ICI and a guy in Puerto Rico is coming up to 30 hours I believe. Anyways, the new models are much better so far, and very smooth.

      Parasportz my fuel consumption is a gallon per hour. I fly Sky Flux 25m and I weigh 200 pounds. I fly at 3000MSL altitude. However, I leaned my engine, and I monitor my temperature. So it is tuned right.

    Looking at this eos or the atom 80 starter engine. The 150 is slightly more powerful yet smooth from what I'm getting so good to start with like the atom. How loud is the eos vs the moster. Is it close to as quiet as the atom? I dont want the atom do to me wanting to go higher in altitude around 10k if possible

      Adam Clark how high you can go, will depend on your weight and what wing you use. EOS 150 ICI is slightly louder than the Atom, but it has more thrust. If you have any questions, feel free to call/text me at 208-242-2720. Thank you.

    What about the vibration? Is there a noticeable different between the 2?

    • @boiseparamotors
      @boiseparamotors  5 лет назад

      John Kovacs there is. EOS has less vibrations and less torque compensation is needed. That is because the engine is not as powerful as the Moster, and the exhaust system for EOS is made by Japanese company that produces exhaust systems for Two stroke motorcycles.
