    You and I have a lot in common. As a brand new pilot I bought my Scout factory R 2 years ago. I have 188 hours on it and planned on getting the EFI but reconsidered. Today I ordered the Quattro. I’m sooo excited!!! It sounds AMAZING

    I can understand the linear nature of a four stroke, but I can't quite understand the quiet claim. I remember when four stroke motocross dirtbikes took over in the 2000's. Tracks were shut down because of the extra noise. Some of those bikes crushed 120 decibels like it was nothing. I know this isn't a 1:1 comparison, but single cylinder four strokes that make power also tend to make a lot of noise. I love the idea of a four stroke. I'd REALLY like to see an objective study of the noise of the Moster vs the Quattro. Stoked to see you are happy with it! If it's really more quiet, I'd be onboard too. Thanks for taking time to create the video! You have a new sub.

    also, looking to do this same setup at 140cm with a 3-blade. Have you done a static thrust measurement? All the Eos documentation is based on a 130cm 2-blade, but I think this actually has more torque than a moster, and they aren't taking advantage of that with a 2-blade. It's probably making a good 15-20kg more thrust with a 3-blade 140cm.

    • @trentwhitney8346
      @trentwhitney8346  Год назад

      It felt the same with a 3-blade flying it. It just lost rpm. With a 2-blade 140cm propeller it made 84kg.

    • @trentwhitney8346
      @trentwhitney8346  Год назад

      For me the 3-blade made less power trying it at 2500 feet and 4700 feet. The 2-blade 140 on this machine is KING for me! The 140 2-blade made about 84kg static thrust. Boise Paramotors has a static thrust test on their facebook page with the 140 2-blade.

      I drive a 4xe Jeep and love it. I won't currently own an electric paramotor. I can only fly it for just over 20 minutes. It doesn't come close to an hour for me. In addition, it weighs a ton all the time. It's like taking off with 18 liters of fuel and then landing with it instead of burning it off. It would be interesting to see if your opinion changes after training.

      @Hyperious_in_the_air Год назад

      @@NomadHatch two strokes like the moster don't really lend themselves well to forced induction. Because all the air flows through the crankcase before entering the piston cylinder, there's no real benefit to boosting air pressure, as on the downstroke after combustion the piston would have to fight against the high pressure in the crankcase.
      If you had a two-stroke with separate oil system for the crankcase that didn't rely on lubricating it with an oil-fuel mixture then it probably would work, and I think that's how Honda does it with their two-stroke dirt bikes that are turboed.

    when are people going to learn that 4 stroke isnt ever going to cut it on ppg heavier,less power,and boy wait till it burns up the valves because the valve train is so slightly built to save weight its going to cost you a packet . The vid shows the superior performance of the efi two stroke , leave the 4 strokes in mowers and water pumps.
