    No tackle storage in back?

Wonder why they would drop a new hull and not make it stepped?

@@gravis00 I believe world cat doesn’t use a planing hull unlike freeman costa invisible etc.

Very few boat builders in NC utilize stepped hull because the water is generally rougher here and stability and ability to bust through chop is more important than speed.

@@leftycosta1899 plus if the water is rougher a non-stepped hull has the ability to stay on plane at lower speeds which is important in that rougher water. You are not going back and forth trying to get over the hump. There are always compromises in any hull design. I live on the GOM so the water is not as bad and I prefer a stepped hull that gets up on top.

As center consoles get bigger, they really lose their function. When you get into the 40 foot plus realm, the comfort of a sport fisherman with a flybridge, and a bigger cockpit, with no outboard motors to get in the way of landing fish in the stern, seems way more practical. These look fun, but you can do the same thing in a 26 foot cc, and for 1/4 the price. 40 ft. plus fishing platform warrants more comfort from elements too.

Don’t like the dryland walk-throughs, want to see the handling and the outside aesthetics of the vessel!!!
