Happy Birthday Fran! Two reasons why Gordon & Macphail have such a good relationship with people like Macallan: they bought whisky from the distilleries when nobody else was interested and they (amongst others) used to bottle the official releases before Macallan had their own bottling facilities. I do have a 2007-2016 Speymalt...
I haven't tried this, but it would be great to, especially after hearing your thoughts. Another cracking video Ben, quality all round. Oh and happy birthday Fran! Cheers.
Gordon and Macphail have a long standing relationship with The Macallan Distillery. Some of the oldest Macallan releases came out of the G&M warehouses.
There was a 17-year First Fill Sherry Hogshead at 57,1% released in Sweden last spring for about 190 Euro. I missed getting one but what I heard is that it is very good
Great content as always. I don't understand why Macallan allows the quality to be so low in their entry products. Especially when Indies can produce the gold you reviewed? Nice one mate and enjoying the rocky tunes.
Thanks, brother! Yeah it baffles me. I can only assume it's because they have done what they do, the way they do it, for so long, that changing it might be a blow to the brand? Either way... that's fine... the good stuff is cheaper anyways! haha As for the tunes. yeah, I tried to move to something a little bit more "me" y'know? I feel like it suits the channel a bit more... new intro on the way.
This is a SERIOUSLY delicious Whisky!! Are you a Macallan fan? Is this something you would buy, even though it's NOT a Macallan? Let me know!! ⬇⬇⬇
Happy Birthday Fran!! 🎂
Happy Birthday Fran!
Bit delayed, but happy Birthday Fran! I wish you a year full of donuts!
Happy birthday Fran. Dig the music. It seemed to match the colour of the bottle and the dram plus your description
Thanks Bill! 🥃🥃
