Love watching the metal models get re-melted. Its satisfying because you know none of the material go to waste. But also because we get to see them have a "Terminator 2" moment
I'm excited to see more games coming out like Trench Crusade. The company has been pretty proactive with community management. Love the concept art and lore, interested to see the models. Great job going through reject parts to make something useful.
That scrap bag is good to know. Either for basing and battle field casualties or cobbled together kitbashes. One of my biggest issues with resin, either 2 part or 3D printing, is the waste. Being able to reuse metal, siocast, or even plastic is great. Its cool they came up with a clever way to not throw it out.
I used to run a small line of laser cut bits for terrain and saved the various cut-outs in a bucket. I'd scoop up about an ounce into a little plastic baggie and sell them for a quarter. People used it a LOT as basing material to simulate rubble. So, yeah, manufacturers do look for these types of ways to recoup losses. Plus, it technically reduces waste.
Kitbashing is definitely the most fun part of the hobby for me. Good to know that there are junk-packs for sale, because as an obsessive hoarder I'm glad that even failed casts can be saved. :)
can't wait to see more trench crusade content, its a fun game and I love the kitbashing / wysiwg ethos I'm working on a Fullmetal Alchemist inspired Iron Sultanate warband using a bunch of old Warmachine / Hordes models that have been sitting in a box for 10 years and having a blast.
thats an awesome squad of seasoned troops youve made from scrap there, damn... they look like theyve seen and been through terrible ordeals in the crucible of war, id love to see them painted nice work 🎉 loved seeing model production behind the scenes looked like a great trip. Enjoyed listening to the law of trench war nice to see the models ill have to check more out. subscribed 👍
That's super cool! The kitbashed minis came out great. Looking forward to seeing them painted up. I had to double check - but those great coat legs from Victoria minis are some of the first digital things that I sculpted for her in the way way back.
Could make for a unique astrem militarum army or at least the terrain is going to be easily recycled. Nice work bro, one person's garbage is a communities gain.
Very cool video, usually when I think of trash to miniatures is using like the mold frames like a cross by glowing a bunch of plastic frames together then carving wood grains into it for my new antioch, but definitely would want to pick up some of those miscast bags to make other stuff.
I love this channel. Its so chill and fun and I actually learned lot. That said, every time you cut towards your fingers, I have a minor anxiety attack XD

4:55 I have to say, I was not expecting you to pull out a spue of minis with Michael Palin, and Terrys Gilliam, and Jones on it! Lemme just say that those two Cardinals (Ximinez, and Biggles)--err, I mean, three--THREE CARDINALS! (including Fang!) are headed for one particular Kill Team I am looking forward to building and painting this coming spring. .... You can just tell I'm primarily an Ork player, can't you? 😉
I never throw out anything. You never know when you might want to make some rubble terrain, or put some stuff on a base that looks cool. Just make up weird troops that don't belong to anything for fun too.
Seems to me I need to get me some bits from them and see what I can do with them...and maybe a tackle box like that one while I'm at it, because what few bits I have are jammed into miniature blister packs and it's awkward at best for me. Oh, and what do you think of Bloodywood and Babymetal's collab song?
Yeah those tackle boxes are super useful, and see through! Very important. I still have a ton of blisters and boxes with bits left in them that need to be gone through…someday lol. The new bloodywood song hits pretty hard! I was skeptical at the beginning, too much baby metal for me, but it felt like a good mix after the intro, pretty rad and it felt like a good mix of styles :)
These are really cool. I wanna see if they have middle eastern stuff so I could use it to make more sultanate dudes. (I already ordered their physical warband and digital reinforcement 😂, aaand kitbashed some).
Victoria miniatures produces a lot of _close-enough-to-Imperial-Guard-regiment_ models including one that is near enough to Tallarn regimants. In addition, they do a female version of almost everything as well (whole squads of infantry, weapon teams, officers and commissars) and Ab-humans and Rough Riders with uniforms for their most popular regiments (which include [off the top of my head]: Praetorians, Mordians, Cadians, Valhallans, Tannith First and Only, Chem Dogs, Penal Conscripts, even beastmen). They also have models for Michael Palin, and Terrys Gilliam, and Jones. _I bet you weren't expecting that!_
I’m definitely gonna get some on Instagram when they come out, and when I can finish these ones too. I’m not sure about a holiday video, we’ll see how the next few weeks go :)

That knight with the BAR at the end is phenomenal!
okay...I love these dudes...the WWI heads look great!!!
Trenchworx just got themselves a HUGE fan! Im very impressed by them and they seem like they really deserve success! Awesome stuff :)
Thank you!
Awww, Casey, your stuff is wholesome - there is often a lot of joy in the misprints and the miscasts. Flaws, after all, can be quite interesting!

Casey I really enjoy the attitude you have and the music on your videos. You are doing a really great job.
Amazing what you took from trash and made dope models out of it, your Oscar the grouch squad looks great, loved the video.
Awesome to see trench crusade stuff. I just hope the community mellows out over time.
A genuinely nice experience, thanks for sharing it 🙏
Great message Casey!
Huzzah,, always interesting stuff.
"Top tier garbage..." Nice. Happy to see your take on the Crusade. Worst case, the tanks can be terrain

Fantastic batch of builds. Well done!!!
Nice! Always cool to see behind the curtain.
I always enjoy your musical selections in videos.
Same!

Hope to see some paint on these soon!

yaaaa trench crusade !!!!
I bet you could also make one heck of a nice dry brush test palette with some of the miscasts, defects, and scraps

this guys cool :)
You have to love a good literal trash bash.

Trench Crusade mentioned, video watched and liked.
🙄, you're such a herd animal.
Thats super cool, I was also looking for a way to get a squad for trench crusade, and fun fact trenchworx is right in my back yard not that far
5 of them would work fine as Valhallan Ice Warriors proxy.

Are you surprised?
NO ONE expects the Spanish Inquisition.
You no take c̶a̶n̶d̶l̶e̶ trash bin!

Noooo, the scrappers bits bags are sold out!
check again! just added a few more back in the mix.
@@trenchworxmedia9401 woooooo! Got one
Ghost patrol of pilots that have rocket bottoms, and the top spins. As in early V-tol.
Secret tip - go behind a GW or WH shop and do the same. ;)
lol perfect
in some cases go INTO a GW/WH :)

Gotta say, I got a tackle box early on and it is a godsend. I clip out all the bits after I'm done and put them into their neat boxes. It is great
trench crusade metioned? i watch and like

Victoria Miniatures definitely has some stuff that would work, Trenchworx makes their stuff and that’s mostly what I ended up with here.

Looking at the various bits and pieces in your box - I didn't expect to see the Spanish Inquisition. But then, no one ever does.

Always a joy to watch - will you show off that minis you get from the kickstarter when they arrive? Any plans for a holiday video?
I’m definitely gonna get some on Instagram when they come out, and when I can finish these ones too. I’m not sure about a holiday video, we’ll see how the next few weeks go :)
