    Josh that really sucked. You’ll get him one of these days. Kick ass video. These new cameras are fantastic. That bow is incredible. I always enjoy watching you both.

    That broadhead literally exploded on impact. Maybe too much speed caused it deflect even quicker? I guess that proves you are better off missing a little high with those heads. Also proves how strong all the layers of the turkey's feathers are! Great footage none the less!!

    This is the type of content that people need to see, When I was 16 and I missed a shot on my first buck I was devastated and demotivated for weeks. Its important to show that even the most experienced hunters aren't successful 100% of the time. Keep up the great content.

      This past season I was 16 and luckily I killed my target buck.... he was the first buck I got attached to and was able to build history with. I've missed a fair amount of deer and whole bunch of turkeys but keep your head up and stay positive in the woods you never know what's in the edge of the thicket

    Valiant effort Josh! I had a similar scenario this year with a guillotine broad head. First bird was text book; second one deflected off the back feathers. Managed to snipe him at 40 yards with a normal broadhead. I recorded both shots on my channel but don’t have a $200K slow mo camera like you! Well done.

    That Slo-Mo is FREAKING insane! Just sucks you didn’t get the bird….that might be the only situation where you wouldn’t want a big broad-head like that. 🤷‍♂️

    Josh another cool shot on a bird with the Phantom reverse angle would be an IW single bevel rotating through the chest of a bird!! I have killed two birds with IW's, one single bevel and one double bevel wide and both were SMASHFEST!!

    I did the exact same thing a couple years back. At 4 yards 🤦🏻‍♂️ it caught just enough feathers that it kicked the arrow just like that

    In one of your older videos said you didn’t want the shoot a decapitating broadhead at more than 65 lbs so why are you doing it now

    • @BowmarBowhunting
      @BowmarBowhunting  Год назад +2

      That’s true, I’ve been working an arrow, feather, and Broadhead combo that will work with any bow at any poundage. So I was testing it at 80 lbs

    Dude, are you trying to impress the uninformed? Your 80lb draw is reduced to 20lbs with a 75% let-off. I'm guessing your let-off is higher. Which means you're holding even less. Call it nerves or excitement. Still great footage!

    • @bch5513

      Still have to get it back.

    • @BowmarBowhunting
      @BowmarBowhunting  Год назад +9

      Every compound has let off, so what it’s still incredibly difficult to hold back a bow at any poundage for 2 mins. Let alone 80lber. Why don’t you take your bow and go full draw and hold it for 2 mins and see how you do.
