If you want to be able to revive batteries, buy a Renaissance charger. I've only used their cheapest one which is fairly slow, I think it's rated at 2 amps. It has brought back dozens of batteries. I think the longest it's taken was 3 days on a deep cycle battery that showed 0 CCA after repeated attempts with a 'normal' charger. After running the Renaissance it showed well over the 650CCA rating on the battery and I used it for about 3 years before it got weak enough that I decided to recycle it.
