Kool Aid is the Saints backup plan for replacing Paulson, Alontae, and Lattimore. Paulson contract is up in 2025, Alontae's in 2026, and Lattimore in 2027. If one of them ask for too much, the Saints won't mind starting a corner on a rookie contract.

I really don’t like when these media guys do things like this. Kubiak isn’t a savior or obi, he’s a OC trying to build an offense to go from basic to good to great hopefully. People act like this the last time the nfl is going to have a season or something. Can we let these young guys develop. I don’t understand why these guys criticize Penning like he drafted himself in the first round. We know he was the physical tools to play the game but if he can’t think the game, than he just can’t, he’s not the first 1st round pick not to make it and he won’t be the lasted.

kinda pisses me off that people w little intimate knowledge of the Saints throw out one sided trade ideas that favor anyone but the Saints. Granted Loomis has screwed up more times than we can count, but it doesn't change what the Saints will likely do. So they see a depressed market for cb and they repeat their yearly assumption that the Saints have to get from under "salary cap hell" even when it gets fixed the Saints way every .... single ... year. First, the team has all it's draft picks for next year as it stands. 2nd, we are NOT suffering from a glut of cb's on the depth chart. 3rd, a 4th rd pick isn't worth losing a pro-bowl caliber dback nor is his cap hit crazy for this year. Can he get traded? Yes. For a 4th? Only if Loomis wants to end his career immediately. BTW Kool Aid hasn't shown fully healthy yet. They should eliminate all teams who put forth an insulting offer. Branch can go filch himself.
