Top United Nations human rights experts have condemned Western nations for supporting Israel's devastating war on Gaza, urging the world to stop an unfolding genocide in Palestine. This comes as the U.N. special rapporteur on the right to food, Michael Fakhri, is accusing Israel in a new report of carrying out a deliberate starvation campaign in Gaza. "What we are witnessing in Gaza is the starvation of 2.3 million Palestinians. We've never seen a civilian population made to go hungry so quickly and so completely," says Fakhri, who joins us from Brazil. We also speak with Francesca Albanese, the special rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territory, who says Israel's assault on Gaza is part of a larger plan of "getting as much control as possible over maximum land with minimum Palestinian people."

Marione Ingram, an 88-year-old Jewish German activist and Holocaust survivor, expressed deep concern about the situation in Gaza, drawing parallels between her childhood memories and the current Israeli attacks on Palestinians in the besieged coastal enclave.
"I have experienced what the children in Gaza are experiencing now," the Holocaust survivor said, adding, "So it is something when I see what is going on in Gaza, it has an immediate identification with my life as a child."
"Netanyahu tells the world, and Biden dances to Netanyahu's tune, and tells us that this is self-defense. Killing children is not government self-defense. So what Israel is doing now is starving people, bombing them, having told people to go to a safe zone, and then killing them," she said.

They had chances to fight back, committed hundreds of atrocities against European settlers (many who were just living on the land doing no harm), slaughtering women and children, torturing male prisoners and raping women countless times.
Its not the same. Palestinians did not/do not have a chance. The Natives were fighting and colonizing each other before Europeans arrived here. The Mexica and Inca are perfect examples of that. The Lakota drove the Cheyenne and Crow off their lands, taking them for themselves.
Get the facts right before you start comparing the two. The Palestinians do need help but they won't get by virtue signaling and making false historical claims. Native people in North America gave as good as they got and did just as much harm as the 'colonizers'.

He wrote that post from a point of complete ignorance as to what really went down in the US between the Native inhabitants and the white colonizers. I wept bitter tears after watching a video that I stumbled upon in my local library years ago. It's title is "How the West was lost" it gave a true and accurate account of the atrocities that were inflicted upon and experienced by the Tribes here. It both broke my heart and angered me. It broke through the lies and propaganda I was taught. It was a heartbreaking watch. I continued to do research that went beyond what was presented, the atrocities and crimes against humanity were so severely egregious. The same thing is and has been happening to the Palestinian people. There is no justification for what's been done and for what's happening now. My faith and belief system tells me that this is the work of satan, using precepts of men and doctrines of demons, perverting the scriptures, perverting what we should and should not stand be doing. To avoid any other tragedy, Israel needs to cancel the practice of administrative detention ( unlimited renewable 6 months of detention without any charges). Their opponent will consider those detainees as hostages because there is no charge against them.

In addition to experiencing horrors of the genocide, Palestinian people are experiencing famine, children are also dying from dysentery, contracting skin diseases and polio because the entities destroyed water and sewage systems. If the Security Council cannot issue a joint document invoking a ceasefire or condemning Israel, it is logical that two documents be issued.

What’s so astounding and appalling is that these are people whose grandparents and great grandparents suffered through the holocaust and it’s just absolutely, there’s no words. There’s just no words, somebody’s brainwashed for some reason. They think they’re better than the whole world. I don’t know? because they’re “the chosen people”? they are not special. God chose them so that Jesus Christ would be born from a long line of people that were chosen to survive so that he would be able to appear on earth. No other reason, but somehow someway they think that God set them apart for some other reason. I don’t know, but believe me I have Family who are Jewish so I’m not anti-Semitic. My nieces doctor was Jewish. We adored him, we celebrated the Seder with him every year. He’s gone on to the other side. And his parents were orthodox. My stepfather came frompersecuted Sephardic Jews. I was brought up with some traditions. But Because we lived in a country that had no people who were Jewish there were no foods or anything that could be purchased. My mother was taught how to prepare meat. You couldn’t buy anything kosher, there were no rabbis, there were no stores or anything that sold kosher food. We had a grandpa who was a Holocaust survivor, adopted grandpa and he taught my mother as much as he possibly could. I didn’t know that he was Jewish. I did not know my papi was Jewish but I knew there was something different about us and later on I figured it out, anyhow my point is I’m not anti-Semitic. I’m appalled and angry.

It is truly terrible, despicable evil, and so on what is going on in Gaza, no mistake on that. Israel's PM is out of control... But why is Hamas out of this discussion? It surely is not a one side solution here. If both aggressors are not dealt with, it BS. We do not recognize there are such evil in both sides.....
