Watched you at Mickelson, it was a great time. I know it did not end the way you had hoped or wanted it to but you had an amazing week and played through some brutal conditions.

I usually dont comment on the youtube golf stuff I watch BUT I had to here, the way you fought the first round was super duper impressive, Playing tournament golf will wear you down mentally and you stayed positive. Something I need to focus on, so refreshing to see it work in real life!

Micah, I think this is a very encouraging video despite the final day. You had 2 amazing rounds in some very tough conditions. That to me, shows the growth that has come in your game. You just need to build off of that and continue to compete so that you can learn how to overcome your emotions when a bad shot comes. The only way to not let those types of situations effect your game is to keep facing them while playing with all the eyes on you. You cannot simulate that atmosphere in any other way, and to many great athletes have given up on their dreams by having this fear of performing in front of crowds or spectators. Just remember that every golfer alive , including the greats such as Tiger woods and Jack Nicklaus have had a shanked shot on live tv. Your going to be a special player Micah, just keep facing the fear and let your talent shine through. You are an inspiration to many young golfers across the globe, and they can learn these great lessons by watching you persevere. Best wishes moving forward, and God bless you sir and your family.
Golf tournaments are hard. I can't imagine how hard it would be playing one on camera knowing that it will be there for hundreds of thousands of people to watch back. Major props.

Every year I play in our city open qualifier and the week of I always shoot in the 70s. Day of I shoot mid 80s. Not this year though

Why are people being so negative?
Micah is competing because he wants to, he wants to test his game and learn under pressure, what's your problem?
I swear people think Micah believes himself to be the next tiger and he should be knocking down tournaments left and right ... why? He's competing and it has its ups and downs. At the end of the day, he can go low, and there's always a chance.
Just cut the guy some slack for crying out loud. Not only is he getting out and competing, but broadcasting the good and the bad.

Basically a bunch of losers who would surely fare even worse than Micah did if they out there competing.
I think it's because he's an average low-tier pro at best, but he gets to make a living videotaping himself play golf, is sponsored by a major OEM, and gets to travel and play places most can't afford or even have access to. It's like he wins even when he's losing, because he's getting views. He's doing for a living what 99% of us have to do after we work. Not saying it's good or bad, but we live in a "look at me" world with so many people jostling for attention because they can monetize it. There's inherent narcissism in all of it. Rubs some people the wrong way, in my opinion. I would suggest, if he truly wants to succeed as a pro, ditch the cameras and focus on the tournament. And, I like Micah just fine and enjoy most of his content, so I'm not a "hater."
@@discr1709 Very well said. The only thing I disagree with is the idea of ditching the camera. Of course he's not going to do that because that's what pays his bills. Perhaps if he did that, he might marginally improve his chances of succeeding as a pro, but that's far too risky of a gamble.

Holy shit Micah that first round might have been the most impressive round of golf I’ve seen you play! In those conditions and the way the round started and even the triple you still stayed locked in! Also so glad you went back to the blade style putter you look way more comfortable with it than that fang one.
unlike many people in these comments, i know my place and I'm not here to critique or bash you. Really good couple of rounds. Unfortunate third. Only thing i would say is keep playing as much tournament golf as you can. Will help limit the mental errors in the long run. Fun to watch, good playing Tig.

MM, thank you for this incredible content. I feel that you are really the only RUclips golf content maker that gives the viewers this kind of inside look at competitive golf! I know the haters will hate on the score that last day, but this is what the average person doesn’t get to see…. And your journey through this is giving us the chance to live vicariously!
Bad days happen, and far more often to us that are watching! I hope you keep your head held high, because this is what real challenge is…. Because there are real consequences! These other channels do “matches” with a head start and such, but win or lose nothing is on the line! Your reputation, image, and a 100k was on the line in this, and that really created suspense and intrigue! Keep it up!

Mate, I live in Calgary and this course is often in championship conditions. Greens are like glass. Was a joy to watch someone of your caliber play it and suffer the Calgary conditions.
I have mixed emotions about your golf game, BUT... I couldn't be more impressed with your attitude, perseverance, and willingness to put yourself out there. Bad or good, you forge on ahead with a positive mindset. I could learn a lot from that. It is very brave indeed. Thanks.

The park on 17 on second round was insane after that ball went all the way down to the bunker after a decent tee shot! Really decent rounds obviously way better on the second! Ggz man!

Your putter saved your bacon on the first 2 days, which is great to see. I always think it's funny when Florida guys come up to Canada and say, "This isn't normal golf!" You're pretty pampered with perfect weather and flat courses, so when you are faced with some rain, wind and lots of elevation changes, it exposes weaknesses in your Bomb and Gouge mindset. You adapted well, so that's a big positive. Hate to see the meltdown on Day 3 though. It's ok to hit a loose shot here and there, but when you compound your mistakes it is always a mental issue. Keep grinding!
Think that 1st rd is the best golf I’ve seen you play. Should now have the confidence to know if you have a bad hole or two you can still score. That’s mature golf Micah. Well done.
I feel like a low fairway finder driver shot would give you more confidence with the driver throughout the round. Kind of like those low tee shots Rory was hitting at the U.S. open when he was still making super committed swings but had less to worry about with the low controlled ball flight.
You still have to be able to putt.

Micah I think you’re a great golfer, like you said it’s mental, the score card shows that, lots of ups and downs, just stay in the present when you’re over the ball, I think you’re mind sometimes goes to the past shots or you’re thinking about the outcome. I’ve played that course. The conditions in Southern AB are horrendous at times. It’s pretty much windy there all the time. Come to British Columbia. Many great courses in the Okanagan, where I’m at, or Vancouver Island.

If your still in Canada you have to come to Lakepoint Golf and Country club in Charlie lake BC just over the alberta border. It is the Gem of Gems like nowhere else
