I've been impressed with Epic Kevin's, and building one makes me even more of an advocate
Just put together my first Birdie's 6 in 1 bed, filled and planted in it. WAtching this I realize should have put more wood & brush in it. Having a bed at waist height is so much easier on our backs! Please show us the bed after your mom plants it.
Putting in other materials makes it far less expensive over time, especially if you've got scrap materials. I'll have to post an update!

Birthing blessings beautiful mom. I love the idea of the taller beds as I get older (now 51). Here in Antigua, I plan on buying the metal roofing material and build a few tall beds.
😊 the taller beds are super convenient. Kneeling on the ground may be the only option when you're trying to grow a large area, but it gets old fast!
Awsome bro only i think you should of done is added a steal rod though the center to stop the sides pushing out our mate from self sufficient me end up having to do that for that reason other than that yr awsome for doing this for yr mum
Yes!! I think I'm gonna order the steel rod kit to go in the middle for that reason. It's a pretty tall bed to not have any rod for support. She's worth it!
Will take a little more than that one extra bag, they settle a lot over the first couple of months.
Yeah, she's got 4 extras sitting around and she'll definitely need more that one over time.
