Keep it up! 🎉 there’s not many RUclipsrs who show their struggles from the beginning and show us how overlanding has benefited for them! It’s an inspiration to live through your adventures.

I think the biggest draw to your channel for me is authenticity. You do great videography and story telling, but you dont sugar coat struggles, or lie to get views. I only found your channel a few days ago. But subscribed super quick. Keep it up and congrats on the 10k!

Thank you for taking the time to make those comments. It's too exhausting putting on a show all the time, so whether rain or shine, you gets what I gots 😉 Appreciate you subbing!

Really enjoy the authentic feel to the channel, and especially the sense of humor & approach in telling both the funny as well as no so funny in life! It's only been a few months since I discovered the plethora of over-landing sites, but yours feels much more than that and hence the grounded authentic nature I referenced earlier. Keep up the great work, please DON'T lose that great sense of humor! And should the travels ever bring you north to the Portland Oregon area and mountains outside... be sure to drop a note you're open to meeting up with some folks. I don't have a decked out rig... but would find a way to make it and say thanks in person! Safe travels and keep up the great work on here!

Congratulations! 🎉 Your videos rule 🤓 I was stuck inside sick for a good chunk of the year, and not only was it fun to get to tag along on your adventures, but you also inspired me to find new ways to make the great outdoors accessible via vehicle-based exploring 🙂

Congratz!!! Thank YOU for all of your hard work, effort and time. Keep up the good work. Glad you were able to make the best of things while recovering from your injury. One of the things I like seeing is your old 3rd Gen. We had a 2000 4Runner SR5, so it's like watching an old friend going over the trails. Now in a 5th Gen. We're in the East Bay, so maybe we'll cross paths one of these days, either around town or out on the trails.

Yes boss, I subscribed because of that How to get started in Overlanding video. I enjoyed your style of video production and the way you present your material. Congratulations on the milestone.

Just found your videos a couple days ago (by way of the 'how to get started' video) There was something about your straight-shooting, pragmatic approach that drew me in. The end of the "this is not overlanding video" was perfect. The voice-over outro was reminiscent of later Anthony Bourdain shows. Every aspect of the content (from the humor, to the opinions on equipment, to poignant epilogues ) feels totally genuine. Also enjoying the editing style and musical choices (variety) of the recent videos. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for that detailed feedback! I definitely ain't no legend like Anthony Bourdain but I'll endeavor to be that entertaining.

Keep up the good work Roger. I live in the East Bay and your videos have inspired me to think about upgrading to a new Land Cruiser or RX550 to explore Cal and Utah and points in between.

Upgrading is great but if you do have something capable currently there should be nothing holding you back from just doing it now. But yeah, either way go explore!
