  • Minority Leader Kelvon Morris posted on his Facebook Page his relief that the island survived Hurricane Beryl.
    Morris extended thanks to government officials, first responders and volunteers who worked to protect residents, noting that their selflessness and dedication ensured that Tobago was prepared and protected. He said their actions saved lives and safeguarded homes and other infrastructure. The minority leader also shared that he went out with a team in his electoral district, Darrel Spring/Whim to assess the impact of the hurricane in the area. He shared that minimal damage was observed, with only a few fallen trees. Morris shared gratitude that the island did not face the brunt of the hurricane and expressed sympathy for those who have experienced it at full force.
