Red-Green Show non-pro tip: If you punch the valve of the spray-can it will allow for a more even flow and be easier to direct accurately.
Also, that console panel is peak! Knobs and toggles all the way baby! It's not just ascetically pleasing, it's safer too; less time with eyes off the road. These new touch-screen tv's their putting in these glorified electric shavers these days are ri-dic. I mean touch buttons for temp. control! Right smack in the middle of the dash too.
There are reasons why the flattened version of the light-switch didn't become standard, one reason being that eventually the wall around every switch would look like the inverse of a smoker's apartment the day after moving out.
Humans have an evolutionary relationship with tactile sensation. There is a theory that the reason for your fingerprints becoming puffy, like when you've been in a pool for a while, was an evolved adaptation that made it easier to hold on to something wet or when wet. the sense of touch provides information to our brain enabling us to respond accordingly without the use of our eyes; which can be the difference between life and death if you're in a giant metal death machine barreling down the highway trying to adjust the fan speed of the AC or hit the perfect volume on that song. I'm not saying people are going to be dying in droves (pun slightly intended) because of this, just trying to illustrate a point. A tick-tick-tick, is always safer than basically no feedback at all. The added engine noise in EVs is a pertinent example. Geezus, this was not supposed to be this long. ;)

Your approach to creativity and work is so refreshing. There's a tendency and pressure for work to be as perfect as possible, and that's nice, but your stuff is great because you can see the process and design in the finished project. It's a working demonstration of "Hey, anyone can do this" when other youtubers are installing 4 post lifts and telling you you need thousands in tools just to work on your car, fix a shelf, or build a piece of furniture.

A couple welding tips! Hold the welding gun with one hand and use your other hand to stabilize yourself. Having the gun closer and more stable rather than swaying around will result in a cleaner looking weld.

Fun fact about bike bullet lights: harmonica players use them as shells for custom microphones, because the shape is great for holding next to the harmonica, and the thick metal helps reduce microphonic feedback while playing.

As a car guy and an engineer, I've always stuck to doing any modifications or projects by planning things out and sitting on ideas to make sure it's all fleshed out and doing the work as close as to perfection as possible. While that's how I've done most things, watching you get an idea and go for it is a huge breath of fresh air, in that not everything has to be perfect or super thought out, and to sometimes just go for it. Your creative approach is so good. Looking forward to watching more of your projects.
Edit: I guess to boil it down, don't get lost in the details and just do it.

I never thought that a Santa Fe could look this cool with a simple lighting add on. Awesome work. One thing I have to say though is that by removing your front grill and bumper, your radiator is now exposed. Radiators are really fragile and expensive. If you are driving down the highway, you can get rocks or debris flung into it, which can irreparably damage it.

This is the best video I’ve ever seen of modding cars, it’s refreshing to see someone make fun and have joy with what they have. All the other RUclipsrs now focus on having the most power or trying to make the nicest thing ever, and not say they shouldn’t have pride in having nice stuff it’s really refreshing to be reminded that modifying cars is meant to be fun. I love how you think about it as a fun hobby and that you don’t care what others think and it adds a lot of story to your car and I’m sure you can have a lot of fun and a ton of story’s in this little car. Best of luck I hope the car treats you well. PS the headlights look sick

While you called it your truck, it's more akin to a van, which is more convenient anyway.
Here I drive my parent's cars, a 2013 VW Sharan and 2919 VW Up!.
You can probably read their brand preference from that.
I like either car a lot, they are manuals with distinct characters in the way they operate.
The Up! is light and nimble, very easy to control so I heel-and-toe constantly in it, since that's fun and makes the ride smoother.
I can't pull that off in the Sharan (yet), but instead frequently attempt the tricky double-clutch rematches on downshifts.
The differences in character goes much deeper and both are fun daily drivers, depending on the situation or simply availability at hand (them being shared cars).
Said Sharan got a quartet of problems in our recent vacation, one actually changing how it drove significantly.
Perhaps I'll share more about that in the Discord, at a later date.

Just double check your states road laws on that, should have it public knowledge accessible to anyone wanting to know. Just so your not getting pulled over by every cop who cares or is a ass. If your state doesn't care or it isn`t listed, more power to you and awesome job and mods man. Keep her going.

It looks great, but I worry about pedestrian collision safety. Rounded, low, and soft car fronts perform better in vehicle-pedestrian collision tests: They distribute the impact and send the person up onto or over the car so they're less likely to also get driven over. This modification removes padding, and exposes more hard edges and a more vertical profile, which generally perform worse in such tests.

I like the headlights you made but do you even got any like lane lens flare angle with those motorcycle glass lensen? or are you beaming people in the eye from ather side driving towards you? And is there even a lens diverder in the glass? Also you could have reused the lens of the plastic lamp if you cut it off and maybe polished it up or a very fine sandpaper grid and resprayed it with lacker there's a few tricks to repurpose headlights. but i do need to say the lights make the care shine brighter now. Dont realy hate it i find it a creative fix but i dont think i would get away with this in the EU. Maybe it would pass inspection if its inside the headlamp but we mostly have a rating or approval system for car headlights.
