The new Skyline certainly evokes the lines and styling of the past (and the hex lights are kinda cool), I'm a little surprised they didn't go more bold with it. As for the new Rays wheel, I don't think they could do wrong and I would love a set once they get to 17s.
They had a Bayside Blue example in the Nissan display centre at Ginza in Tokyo a couple of months ago, they were happy for the public to sit in it and enjoy. My son (9) was understandably blown away by the experience.
19" CE28N'S have always been my favorite of any wheel bronze or the black with red lip time attack❤. I really really hope they follow through and make the 19" CE28N plus!❤
Looks fantastic. I'm still leaning towards the ZE40, because it looks a lot more aggressive to me. I'm very excited for the resurgence with the CE28-N Plus though, can't wait to get a set here to review and see it first hand. It was interesting when they removed the holes from the CE28SL and CE28 Club Racers. It's the lead up to this. Great video as always from you!
CE28 has always been my favorite. TE’s are a beautiful wheel, but have been a bit played out over the last few years. Nice seeing someone show some love to the CE28.
CE28N's are such nice wheels, I prefer them over the TE37. And I don't hate the TE37, but i like the CE's more! Love the throwback on the new GTR with the r33 and r34 nods!
CE28 looks more like a track car set up and TE37 are more like street racing style. TE37 looks well in most of the sizes when CE28 looks good in sizes 17" plus.
TE37's are great, no doubt. But I've always liked the CE28 more. I don't know how to explain it but the multiple spoke design of the CE28 just appeals to me. A friend of mine used to have a DC5 Type R in blue with bronze CE28 on the car and it was gorgeous!
I have ZE40's in matte blue gunmetal but I love classic CE28's in matte bronze. So good! Too bad they've gotten rid of the matte bronze, such an iconic and timeless look. Great footage and great laps Dino!
Really enjoyed that. I think you would struggle to think of a company that have more iconic wheels and designs than Rays. It would be very easy to spend a small fortune on a new set of wheels I'd say 😉 And that 400Z has got some shove, we aren't getting it in Europe which looking at it's on track performance here, is a real pity.
@@dino_dc It will definitely become a firm favourite drift car in the years ahead I think. It seems to be a great base to start from anyway. Hopefully we will see some being imported into Europe from Japan in the years ahead.

Unpopular opinion,I think rays wheels is overrated I don't think they look that good, not a fan of TE 37 or ce28(yes that are light tho), I think SSR and WEDSSPORT look better. And enkie aswell give me a RPF1 any day over TE's.

I think it depends on the car you're running. What's great is having the choice, which is not that much if you have an old car with 4x114.3 😅
