I was a campcraft counselor at Camp Paradox from 1966-1969. The camp was located to the south of Crawford Island. Lots of great memories of taking boys fishing and overnight camping on Crawford Island.
Thomas Vannatta This was a great video which sparked many memories. I was a member of the aquatics staff at Camp Paradox the summers of 1964-65 and became Aquatics Director at Camp Paragon in 1966-67. It was wonderful experience shared with friends and young campers.
Hello Thomas. I'm guessing you, Sierra, and James must all be friends. I'm glad my video has brought you all together today to recall the many memories from your past.
I spent 5 summers on Paradox Lake, as a camper at Camp Paragon for girls. The summers of 1966-1970. Great drone video, but I would love to see the other side of the lake where Paragon was. Our brother camp was Camp Paradox.
Hi Margie. Thank you for your kind words. I'd love to be able to do another video of the other side of the lake, but I've since retired to Martha's Vineyard to be with my kids and grandkids.
This video is so well done and I miss this lake so much. I have been coming here for my whole life and it is my home. I have met my best friends at this lake and continue to vacation with them every year. Paradox will always be my favorite place on earth. 💛
I can't thank you enough for posting this. I spent summers at Paradox on family vacations from the time I was a child through my teen years. I went back in 2006 on my honeymoon! Each time I was there, I stayed in a house on Whits End Way. When I was there with my family, the property was owned by Dorothy and Whit Daniels - back then it was called "Whits End on Paradox," because of the obstacles he had when building the place!
Hi Lou, My family has had a business on Paradox Lake for 72 years (SunderLand Cottages on Paradox Lake), and I would love to post your wonderful video on our new website. Please contact me to let me know whether you would permit that. Thanks !
I have stayed on paradox lake every summer as a child. Now every year we stay at Sunderland cottages. Lovely cottages on a peaceful lake. So many memories! Thanks Toni and Susan!
It's funny, my adopted parents owned Cedar Top Campsites & Cottages on the Western part of the lake so I grew up there. Then when I met my birthmom she said that Susan Sunderland was supposed to be related to our Wright family. Small world.

I'm happy it brought back these great memories for you James.

We vacation on Paradox, this video seemed to be the upper lake; here's my video of the lower: ruclips.net/video/b-WDVD3m_ag/видео.html

Thank you Sierra! What a nice review. I can say without a doubt this is one fabulous Adirondack lake and it was one of my favorite videos to make!

Thank you for the nice note Deborah. So glad it brought back pleasant memories for you from your past!!
Beautiful. Two friends live on Paradox year-round. Too cold for me! Great fishing, though.
Thanks again Organ/Choirman.
Love these aerials. I can't get to see the Adirondacks in person.
