Great performance of a much underrated masterpiece. Kempff's touch, as often with him, is like no other.

His is the absolute best version of this piece that I've EVER heard..... I think he has the "spirit of Mozart" in him...
And the spirit of Beethoven. And the spirit of Schubert. And the spirit of Schumann.
Practiced this for a student recital/contest, which unfortunately never took place. Loved playing it ever since ... either sentimental or vigorous, always according to my various moods.

I thought Uchida's was the most authentic until I heard good ole Kempff. The best!!
