I like it as well. I like hearing longer videos or podcasts for getting ready for bed or cooking. I can't do things in total silence and I really like myself some talking nearby.

I usually just watch Eddy's videos cause I love his personality and I just like listening to whatever he wants to talk about where it be makeup or just some tea, but this video was actually very helpful even for someone like me who doesn't wear more advanced makeup (only concealer and foundation sometimes). Seeing his way of blending out the concealer is great. Only putting powder on the upper part of the face is also a great tip cause I also get flaky dry skin around my lips if I dehydrate it to much. This video is gonna be my go-to for a great everyday natural makeup routine.
I'm also really glad that you agree that those laminated "feather" brows look extreme, I really don't like the look of it. People go to the salon and come back with those eyebrows and then I have to lie to them that they don't look crazy 🤣
Eddy has some of the clearest skin I’ve ever seen! When my skin is clear it just feels soft but his skin is literally GLOWINGG!!!

I can totally appreciate how Eddy's past in anime and drawing comes into place when he was designing his eyeshadow palettes, the way he explained these colour gradients was 10/10. And a really good tip for people like me who are just getting into makeup. I also love how he actually drew the eyebrow hairs with the natural growth of the hair instead of just filling it in normally.
I always feel like I wanna be friends with Edward but that I would probably not be interesting enough for him. But here he said that his usual default state is just like mine, just sitting alone in a room being quiet lol I love that.
That Cielo sale can get it though, what a great deal. Very tempting.
Not trying to be a bias viewer and supporter of Cielo, but honestly, the dream cream fluid skin is THE BOMB. I really don't use anything else either. I let two of my friends use it, and they have dry and combo skin, and their initial reaction was how soft it made their skin and how fast it made their skin moisturized. I highly recommend! 100/10 for me. Also, Eddy, I'm sure a lot of your viewers, like me, really enjoy these types of videos too. So like you said, do what you enjoy creating because we're here for you and enjoy the talks you have. It's like we're friends catching up and getting ready. ☺
Edward, I know you felt like you talked a lot but I have been watching you for literally YEARS(since you were working on the army base!) because I love when you talk through your rationale for makeup. You are one of the only makeup people I still continue to watch because you actually have helpful tips that make sense, and are not just blindly copying what everyone else is doing. Equally helpful is that you have a similar skin type to me; previously acne prone, but now more textured and sensitive, so you also have very good skincare advice on top of the makeup tips as well.
I started watching you as a young high schooler(i'm in my 4th year of uni now) because I started breaking out and I wanted to learn how to do makeup and take care of my skin, and I have learned so much with you throughout the years! Please don't ever apologize for talking about stuff you're clearly passionate about in your videos. This was literally an essay but I just wanted to get that out there, love u!!

Also I love how thoroughly you explain everything. It's so helpful. Would be really interested in you making a video (since you'll be in the USA for a bit) using a American drugstore products to make your normal and/or idol kind of looks.
Yessss!! And it would be especially helpful for makeup recommendations since I'm an American and unfortunately don't have access to the Korean beauty stores that he gets his makeup from lol
I'm the type of person who struggles to understand "how to makeup" but you're great at explaining the main areas and other variations of techniques (so that it doesn't look like I just dipped my face in cake batter or flour and then salt-bae sprinkled some glitter on).
These videos are just as enjoyable where you just do your thing, talk about stuff you want, and we just vibe. We don't always need to have those super fancy make-up transformations, though they are fun to see as well. I'm sure many of us simply enjoy the community here with your personality; it's chill and comfy. So hopefully this helps put your mind at a little more ease, you're doing amazing already 🙌
edward explaining his introvertness and how he interacts (or doesn't) with people in his real life made me feel seen because I am the same way where I just end up staying in my room so as to not bring the mood down when around extroverts

Although the makeup videos are, of course, about makeup, I’m more time here for just Eddy - to hear him explain things, joke, laugh, give anecdotes, complain haha. I just love his personality like that. I enjoy when he does his make up because even if they are the same or similar , they’re always stunning. I’d say I’m here for that tutorial part and focus on his tricks and hearing his recommendations, than the fact of whether a look is the same as the last x

Honestly, I'm so glad I found your youtube channel a couple of years ago. You've really helped me learn how to do my makeup, and your videos are so damn funny I keep going back to rewatch them. P.S. I have to disagree with "the same face". There's nothing wrong with searching for whatever fits more and perfecting your own technique.
Please don't ever stop doing these sorts of makeup videos if you really enjoy them :) Even if your makeup "always stays the same," I do find slight differences in all the videos where you're doing makeup on yourself. I have been watching your channel for years, and I genuinely enjoy seeing you explain the products and seeing your techniques in applying them. :) You're one of the only beauty RUclipsrs who actually makes it entertaining lol

I like other La Roche Posay things but the sunscreens I just can't because they are too THICCC and I feel like I'm putting spackling on my face. I find Eucerin sunscreens MUCH better!
Just curious, have you tried the invisible fluid sunscreen by La Roche Posay? I personally don't like it too much but it's definitely the thinnest sunscreen I've ever tried! :)

PSA: Petroleum jelly lip balms don't work nearly as well as Lanolin . If you're not allergic, please don't waste money on petroleum jelly based stuff. I get mine from Ulta.

As someone who lives in Texas I agree with how bad the water is but I feel like it differs from city to city. Also you just get used to the water from where you live so it’s normal for your skin to react different. I know when I travel to visit family my skin gets dry and breaks out when I wash my face it also feels like it’s not even clean as well. 😅🥲

i do have to say like everyone else your skin looks amazing!!! at least from what i can see through the video, the acne scaring that was more prominent in like videos 1-2 years ago is not really noticeable unless that it was you are looking for.
