Grimlock forming the leg instead of the torso feels utterly bizarre. I mean he's the Dinobot leader.

The leader of the Constructions Scrapper, forms a leg of Devastator as well.
It's because these are likely a pre-mold for Victory Dinoking, a six-bot combiner who had a Triceratops as the chest, and a T-Rex (who is also the leader) as the left leg.
Triceratops head with flared armor plate looks much better as a chest piece tho
The reason why he is the leg, is because the Pretender Monsterbots had a Tyrannosaurus as a leg, and there were Japanese recolours/remoulds that had Dinosaur shells instead of the monster ones. I believe this set will be reformatted into one of those.
Those are much better feet then my upgrade kit. One falls off easily.
I never thought four arms would be fitting on a Dinobot combiner. They are the pinnacle of brute strength in the franchise next to Devastator, it fits them so well! Like a tamed design of the Beast version.
Only they cant hold on to the extra weapons. Only the ones who came with the kit

I bought KO oversized versions of the POTP versions. Not quite as big, but it gives one an idea.

The Upgrade Kit make them more tolerable but still, you know not quite perfect
Normally the Donald bots have 5 members but I have seen them with a 6 member which is either a spinalsaurs or a velociraptor. The ankylosaurs is throwing me off lol

While I admit that I REALLY don't like all the big, blocky bumps they gave to the beast modes, I am always happy to see more incarnations of Volcanicus, and it only makes me wonder more why hadn't The Dinobots got a combiner all the way when G1 was the only Transformers season. Still, better late than never.

In G1 the reason why they never combined was because the toys couldn't combine. The toys were first then the show
Still, you'd think that they would work on trying to combine them much sooner over time, ever since they debuted in G1...

Imagine being the team leader only to be demoted to being the left foot in the combined mode, the designers did Grimlock dirty.
They did that so they could reuse the molds for the combiner Dinoking. Who also has their T Rex leader form the leg.
scrapper is leader of the constructicons, yet is the right leg.
Curious on which version of this kit that has the parts for the four armed mode. All i see for sale is the two armed mode
I never liked this scale but I gotta admit that the engineering is something Hasbro could never replicate

自分もコレ買いました､アップデートパーツの1つで買いましたが一先ず梱包の仕方に驚いた｡ジップロックにパーツ入っていてそのジップロックの回りを緩衝材で包んで有るってだけでビビった｡他はそれなりに無地の箱に入っていていたけど｡因みに試しに買値探りに持っていったら持っていった先でも驚かれたね｡個人的にはコレと武器無しのやつと3月辺りに出るやつと混ぜてお気に入りの1体作りたい予定です｡

This concept idea would look cool if they were all VOYAGERS... it's a shame that the COMBINER dinobots are something that most Transformers fans don't like.

Is this supposed to be easier than the previous Volcanicus? Cuz um it looks way more complicated and also not sure how i feel bout the new chest piece. Slag head does look cool tho cant deny
Still doesn’t change the fact that this design and figure sucks. Generations is a little more old, but it is way worth it. I just wish Takara could make a better Dinobots that are not only fully articulated, but also giving them the ability to combine into Volcanicus the prehistoric guardian!
Nice video and transformation but Grinlock being the leg is dumb 😅. The upgrade kit helps a lot though.

Its kinda bullshit that this budget legends scale looks better and more cohesive than the combiner wars one. Im saying that even without the kits, the CW was instant buyers remorse. Once the legends kit is added all thats missing is some paint or even a black wash to get all the details to pop.
