  • In today's video, my friend Enzo of Zoy To The World takes me on a fun Makati Food Tour! Featuring both famous and humble eateries. A Karinderya offers a diverse selection of homemade meals for everyone to enjoy, and the best part is that they come at incredibly affordable prices! And we'll see if the price range in Makati is reasonable for fellow Filipinos like us.🙂

Nice video, and thx for recording in English. I just came across the word karinderya today, I always struggle finding food I can eat in the Philippines, now I have a word to google, and some of the food looked delicious 😋

Agree about not making the Liempo sweet. I really can't understand why there is a need to add sugar on most Filipino dishes became popular. To balance maybe yes, but to overwhelm no....

we filipinos also love to eat a lot of rice so the sweetness gets balanced with the rice.

Sa Manila lang yan because in other provinces in Visayas Mindanao, they put just salt or lemongrass and salt, not sugar.

I am a very Filipino myself. But i also dont understand that so called “ balance” thing that they are talking about. I dont know, i just find it funny. Well, as they say, everyone has its own taste. Ok, i agree, i am just glad that i have my own.

You must go to Talisay Batangas to have a taste of an authentic Sinaing na Tulingan. There is no coconut milk in that dish.
