  • Wyze has set its sights on taking over the outdoors after firmly disrupting the indoor smart home market. Some of their outdoor products have left a little to be desired or had a better option come out shortly after their dedicated "outdoor" product came out. Does the new Wyze Outdoor Plug help or hurt Wyze's move to the outdoor smart home?
This video will cover everything you wanted to know about the Wyze Plug Outdoor from how to set it up, to using the app to set up schedules and reunites. It will also cover some things that you had not considered like the power usage of the Wyze Outdoor Plug and how well the light sensor on it really works. If this sounds like what you are looking for then you are in the right place.

Do I have to worry about rain getting into it when using outside?

Only if you have the thing pointed up. I have been using mine for my outdoor lights and have had nothing but rain and it is working just fine. That is what out door plugs are for.

@@Wanderer001_Reviews I see there is a temperature range of -4 to +95F I thought I read. Living in Iowa where -25 isn't uncommon. Will it harm it or just not work temporarily?

Might not hurt things but will not work.
