You’re a man of many talents. That’s the first time I’ve seen anyone make it their own steering wheel. Being so isolated makes you resourceful. Again, nice work Dif.
Thanks! That steering wheel looks absolutely beautiful. I love that wood grain. I hope you plan on making more wooden parts for the interior. I greatly appreciate you letting me sit in with you while you work. 👍🏻👍🏻
Man that eye in the wood is what I love about wood… no piece is the same. The infusion of wood and steel makes me feel like a cat has laid an egg inside me. Your work is like that wood… no single piece of work is the same and your humbleness reflects throughout
So many skills Diff. The wheel looks amazing. I look forward to the new videos. I’m off work 3plus years with a brain injury. You give me encouragement to finish my car. Keep up the good work. I agree with you about gloves. We call them b@tch mittens here😂.
😂 Bitch mittens!😂 Love it! Yeah man, just do something, even something small, just to keep the dream alive and get a little sense of accomplishment. All the best with the recovery!
@@ratrodsafrica yes that’s what the therapist was saying. Thank you for the encouragement. We have strict warrant of fitnesses here. So got a bit of rust work to complete. Halfway done halfway to go.
So awesome brother watching you work your magic with every little detail to fit your own style !!!!! That's just awesome brother !!!!! Have a lekka one brother and will be waiting for next adventure
You proved the theory " give a human a repetitive boring task , and the brain will spend all its processing power ,to figure out an easier way of doing it ." And a beautiful piece of work
I love the wood steering wheel. One thing I want to do when I get a chance to build my own wood sterring wheel, is use brass rivets this guy from South Africa showed me how to do them. I can't wait. Great video Div. Bart
This is gonna be among the best of Diff's videos! I can see wood dash panels and doors. I just knew there was a ship builder or carpenter in there somewhere! 😊
westport wa state, here sir. and what a fine turkey day it was. my wife got a stomach bug from something she had eaten the day before. felt bad for my wife. but did not have to go anywhere. hell yea. sat around and nothing but i wanted. for a whole day. home was built in 1930. so always something to do. replacing shingles is always fun.
I am an American Jeeper and love building my Jeep, but I also have a nice home wood shop and love to build for my family. I use a lot of rough cut specialty wood but have not heard of this one but it is beautiful, love the grain!!!! Thank You
Cool beans Diff, like the wood flavor and that eye or knot in the one piece, gives it character! Or something like that, right? Rock on with brother man 🤘🤘✌️, rock on with it, geez I can't write, haha!
Great job on the steering wheel. No need to apologize for the way your working hands look a few bumps and scars come with life and help to tell your story.
Diff, more I watch you, the more impressed I am. Being a builder my self, most poeple, don't fully understand how good you are. Your true master craftsman. That you sir for sharing with us.
Ahhh but it'll never rust hahaha Really great video. Top job! I was betting with myself you'd sand the wheel while it spun around slowly in a lathe...the cordless drill lathe is complete & utter genius!!! This is the "Make-Do-Technology" I just love seeing. Absolute genius! I'm not at all fluent in wood n timber but the router table looks a pretty cool thing. Some tools just look like they'd be satisfying to use. Finished job is outstanding...that finished wood pops & glad you kept the Knot, adds even more cool character. Two thumbs up man!!!
That Hudson is truly a work of art, Dif. Every peice you add makes it more so. Cant wait to see it rolling down the road! BTW, VERY jealous of the number of clamps you have around to do that wheel!
There is a nice eye in that timber, literally looks like an eye. Router has to be one of the most useful woodworking tools, next to the Div drill lathe. Nice wheel for sure.
Div this turned out very nice. Can’t wait to see more updates and projects and many more videos soon my friend. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
Ok DIV you have my complete attention I LOVE WOOD STEERING WHEELS!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

You’re a man of many talents. That’s the first time I’ve seen anyone make it their own steering wheel. Being so isolated makes you resourceful. Again, nice work Dif.
Thanks. I could just buy one. But where's the fun in that?🙂
Thanks! That steering wheel looks absolutely beautiful. I love that wood grain. I hope you plan on making more wooden parts for the interior.
I greatly appreciate you letting me sit in with you while you work.
👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you brother! Appreciate the contribution once again! Yeah, expanding the wood theme into the rest of the interior is not a bad idea!
