This Governor will be a hit. 💯
😂😂😂😂😂
It's high time we embrace change and face reality stop being negative guys
I second you
Salute
Please keep your word, governor. Your success will be the success of the Zimbabwean populace and another African success story. We wish you the best.
We could be heading in the right direction if the Governor sticks to his word and principles ...the go and retract your story part was funny though 😂
You can clearly tell that the interviewer was scared to ask hard questions to John 2
100 million "what"? Zig?
2.5 gold tons worth millions of what?
The way he created first bank in Zvishavane was a cut above the rest
What he says has been said before. Some even promised to resign if their new money fail 😢😢😢
I love tht the governor is not imaginary like mtuli and mangudya who attached things from the top without Consideration to the base which is the general person. Day to day life of the street person kwete zvana corporate what what.. this might change the life of the general population l hope for implementation and no political interference, let the man do his job. Things will work. I am trusting this governor. I hope he keeps this interaction with us frequently, we hear and thts important. Mangudya was never visible more like a dummy. I love the activeness hope you do well governor. We need a better living✊🏽
Is it going to be recognised in other countries,or being available in other countrie,s banks, beareu de change etc
@@bvprojectmanagers2149" is Kwacha accepted here" he asked. Look you can never expect a new currency to reach such milestones it takes some time bcoz it has to be stable and reliable for it to recognized. I don't understand the fuss about it being recognized internationally, why do want it to be, it's a local currency to use in your country. If you go to south Africa you never use USD they want rand same with Botswana, Moza, Zambia etc. Majaira USA but there is no other currency tht is universal other than the USD. Give it time stop being cry babies
@@bvprojectmanagers2149 do you recognise meticai or kwacha?
There must be law to stop people from trading in the street rather than in the Bank
I think people would if the queues were not an issue
as long as landlords demand usd the street traders are likely to flourish without doubt
Governer please make things work
Wish you all the best
Social media is the same people you are trying to get confidence to use your Zigi Mari if you take them granted already you doomed
I believe ZIG is the future also . Just check on waves its generating in Africa the world is on a change . Its the future for us Zimbabweans
It's like Faith was timid and afraid to ask the hard questions. This needed Dhara.
Been watching Andy Hodges' interview of the Governor. I can only say, Andy's interview on @ZTNPrime is at another level. You can see Andy is a Banker/Economist first before being a journalist. There is no comparison with Faith Zaba or Blessed Dhara.
Faith and Blessed should consider doing courses in basic Economics, Financial Managament, Money or Financial Markets.
Days of Gono are long gone and journalists need to shape up
You are very right they should not do these interviews at all without the knowledge because these interviews go international as well senge apa uyu was unprofessional like akutaura nehama yake im disappointed
The ending of this episode speaks volumes about the character of this guy😅😅
The interview was quite interesting with the straight talking Governor Dr John. The editor seems intimidated though but nonetheless a great way of having the ZiG and measures to address the economic challenges explained by our new Governor clarified
The interview was quite interesting. Thanks for such great insights Governor. We appreciate your measures to our economy. New Great Zimbabwe
We needed a better journalist who knows economics, zvakaoma 😂😂😂
he is a man of very few and straight-forward words
The Reserve Bank should consider going into Gold mining joint ventures or Gold mine ownership to boost the reserves.
Keep your words Sir seems we are going somewhere 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Even then, the new ZiG should be backed by 15 billion USD diamond money. Not 180 million gold here and there and 75 million USD reserves.
Its time to support our country and all the efforts the people of Zimbabwe are making create a stable home for all our families, Zimbabwe is a great country filled with great people. It’s our time now!
Changing pants does not stop a bout of diarrhoea 😂
I hope this works out, honestly we need a break from this chaos, fuel, food, tax, all paid in zig
Zvinoda Jesu zvemari yemuzimbabwe paitova nana B Chidzero vaka failure
Please Governor tati inotenga fuel here nekubhadhara passport, tipeiwo answer please!!!!
The answer is no 😂
There are two seperate money markets; the parallel underground market feeding tuckshops and the official market that is printing money to pay local serbices and also buying US$ from black market which in turn raises exchange rate.
He knows what need to be done
Who is driving the exchange rate on the parallel market? Answer is simple - Its the Govt of Zimbabwe.Stop printing money to pay civil servants and contractors.
Increasing money should be based on production and not reserves, the ZiGs guy goods and not reserves
As long vagadzira chinhu chisingatengi fuel nokubhadhara ma passport chatotanga chakadhakwa chinhu ichi.
They wanted people to have confidence pachinhu chavasirikuda ivo.
Will revisit this video in September if I am still alive by then.
"ZiG is going to be fully convertible.." you say. This when it can't buy fuel or pay for passport processing?
Yatinoti mari, imarii yekuti ndinobuda nayo kunze kwenyika ndichishandisa. Inonzi mari if I travel I can change in any bank out of the county. Not ma bearer cheque's enyu ayo. Even to ask the Governor kuti ane ZiG muhomwe here.... Haatorina they must lead by example to ziwa kuti imarii
Ziso iro nderekutsara mari
I'm shocked by the comments...lets wait and see
So in short the RBZ has less than USD400mil ? How much money is in Zimbabwean banks?
Let us come back here in 5-10 years time..
If the Usd is still formally allowed to circulate, there is no safety or confidence .
Look de dollarising is not an option dude. Stop complaining when you know its not possible. It should circulate but the problem of extortion should be delt with ndopanobva confidence. The black market should be delt with so that the exchange rate is controlled
Lazy journalism being called out at, right at the end there!
Go to the registry office and confirm FBC shareholding before writing falsehoods 😂
That struck hard
Wish him luck, but the major problem is too much power invested in the presidency. How does the country know he is the best man for the job when there is no indication of who else was considered and how he was better than the others?
Interviewer is busy blushing havo🌝
As long zanu in power nothing will change we need new leaders
We need people well vested with a particular subject to ask real questions. Madam avo vakatadza basa..
Genuine foreign currency needs.... but the population will need USD to buy fuel to drive to and from work every day. Is that going to qualify as genuine foreign currency needs? Will banks release money for that?
😹😹😹"over your dead body" 💀
What is surprising and confusing is the camera man decides that is the best view of the City. You will never see the worst parts of London or Washington DC, but our producers always show us things which at times makes you wonder what is the message being conveyed. At least they should have shown Samora Machel as that is where the RBZ is located.
A product of old school journalism schools where students are rewarded for criticizing.
I've also noted poor Economic News journalism in general, Faith Zaba appears clueless to ask follow up questions. A few weeks back Blessed Mhlanga turned into a chicken interviewing Eddie Cross.
Perhaps we need more Sciences, Maths, Business, Entrepreneurship Economics, Patrioticism and other progressive subjects at O'level
the delivery of the questions could be muchbetter!!!
Next time can we have someone to do these interviews who is not scared or intimidated this is real life situations not jokes askana we need someone more professional
Chimwana chamunangagwa icho chakaisiwa pamwena we mari icho chirikuda kutokumba ma USD ose chiende nawo kumba imi mosara nematishu. ZIG HAISI MARI.
The Governor says he has reserves to buy all the ZiG in circulation, why cant it then pay for fuel, passport and others
It's transition do you understand what a transition is... Currency is a very fragile thing it needs precision, precision takes patience and patience means you make changes jus at the perfect time
Mushayavanhu's facial expressions clearly do not show consistent confidence.
Can it buy fuel
This they don’t want us Ivo ha vashandise Māri idzodzi
Put zig in a bank😂😂😂😂
John the 2nd failing to understand that money in nostro accounts is privately hrld and cannot be said is available to cover for imports. If he is no understanding that, we in trouble
Private people are the ones who import one would think
What if 5 million people go to the bank to ask for money to buy fuel, daily? It is a genuine request. Are they going to get USD daily?
Hypothetically they'll get it.
Why fifty percent?Ngavatore ka 100 percent
What a lost opportunity..Zanu pf type of interview ..This governor started on a very arrogant trajectory, quoting politicians- his boss.As a technocrat he should be able to explain in simple terms his policy, its implications and instill confidence in the ordinary person in the street. But already he seems to be running away from reality.
Tief
Mushayavanhu kura iwe
kkkk ko imi maisa pa social media wani hapasi paZBC apa
Saka muchaita sei nekuti black market yatangira pa 18 next week inenge yavepa 25
The interviewer has just done a PR hatchet job for this John guy. Maybe akatarisira kunzi Go and see Victor 😢
What's QPD guys?
Quarterly Payment Dates. Corporate tax is not paid in one lump sum but 4 times every year namely March, June, September and December. My estimation is by saying 50% of the taxes should be in ZiG mari it would be another way to inject ZiG mari into circulation
@@s.7847 Ohhh ok, thanks a lot. 🙏🙏
The interviewer is lame ,lacks experience and scripted
this interviewer is using slang in a formal interview?
Mari yenyu yamunohora ndeyema zig here musatipedzerewo nguwa
Nhai
The new governor and the mthulis might be good in their respective careers, since 2008 these currencies has been changed thousand times, nice talk is cheap. The problem is in zim everything has been Zanufied and its a hard nut to crack ,to break those barriers. Very soon he will be quiet and told what to do with those zanu comrades.
😂😂
Mr Zig
Pasangana zvidhakwa apa
In all, the parallel market aka the Black Market should be banned...In other countries there are no black markets...Once visited SA for a few months, it was just Rands only..You just go to the bank and convert your money...Done!!!!!!
And if the bank can't give you the money? How do you advise?
Let.s hope u are speaking john he promised honey and bread u speal nicely go are head and we see
Uhlekani uMagutywa
"We made zig a stable currency " please tell i m dreaming 😂😂😂
Ko nhai mdhara elephant in the room muchaiita sei?cause mogona kutaura henyu zvese izvi but elephant in the room maone
Poor interview, reminds me of Ketty let me tell you something 😂😂😂😂
Face inekakusatendeka
the interviewer was way way too soft
Zig ndozvo
Another cabal from DRC era...
Time will will judge u sir....vamwe vakauya vakatipa mashoko pama bearer chek, pakauya zim dola, pakauya mabond notes, now zig...trust me i pray that this works as i have done all the time im Zimbabwean what else can i hop for since kufamba kwazvo zvinotinakira. Deep down every Zimbabwean wants this to walk....but zig risingatengi fuel, duty etc etc...why create money that you wont be brave enough to accept....u want me to tel the firts step of faith whilst you are not willing....look ma toast, ma videos mashoko eushungi haabatsiri....hondo chaiyo yerusununguko yakarwiwa...haina kutaurwa....hondo iyi aitombodi mashoko...but John the Second be careful your words might come to haunt you
this guy will do nothing.
This guy is clueless!
Good bt if yu failed you must resign becz yu did the basic think that have never happened in our economy before yu .boss now biggest problem is politics wil sabotage you .Also ministry of finance shld look it's policies are their in line with your monetary policy.l think perm SEC must also reverse his policies in too much taxes for it to inline with your openness to the mother land Zimbabwe. Our wish is to us our own money .
Poor interview, I wish it was Dhara interviewing the governor. Dhara asks pertinent questions not these irrelevant questions
This interviewer have no idea ye Economics hence any questions she asks she's quick to accept zvaaudzwa or else she was doing PR for dis guy I would love an interview where dis guy can sit with real economist vabvunzane ipapo tione kuti zvodii coz I feel dis guy is not being truly honest to citizens arikutoda kuzama ZiG is an experiment
The journalist doesnt understand banking n finance... More homework was needed.
will be back after a month. you guys will fund the black market then boom 1 as 100000. the interview doesnt even feel convinced this zig will work. chakaora chisati chamuka chinhu ichi
Haha
The Journalist is not experienced enough to ask economic questions.
You doing nothing dude
Interviewer 👎👎
Very useless interviewer,zero knowledge
HE came to see empty vaults 🤣🤣🤣
Terrible interviewer🚮🚮
Poor interview technique by the lady.
Your body language somes it all....low energy. ..hapana hapana
