That was a very good submission,i could listen to this gentleman all day because he is stating facts
No big words, just simple and practical economics....thumbs up
Brilliant submission, sadly they will not listen, they really do not care, just a box ticking exercise.
The guy identified problems and gave sound solutions he os brilliant
If important government positions were rigorously competed for (not appointments by the president) Zimbabwe has the manpower to solve her problems.
No this guy knows what he’s talking about. You can tell if he had real freedom to speak his mind he would have gone even deeper.
He has a gift of making everyone understand the ‘seemingly complex’ economic problemm of Zimbabwe. Great delivery Dumi👏👏
Not harnessing such minds is evil in itself
Batshele Dawu, well articulated
This is empty talk lacking investment principle
Just empty words l mean empty words
Lo dawu uyakhuluma kodwa into yakhe ayizwakali
Accepting the ZigZag is like accepting that Munangagwa won the elections, it will not work and that is the big elephant in the room😅
Big dhara can you invite that old Chap for 5 hour interview at heart and soul studios...I would him lecturing than you asking him questions..he has his questions
I second you on that one
Already the governor is implicating the world bank before the currency is in use kkkkk
Zim has brains and rational people. We have a bright future right people should be appointed and lead. I am humbled with this frank discussion and lecture. God bless Zimbabwe. You will rise again.
He is talking of how ordinary people respond to economics.
Thank you Dawu. The problem is that you are serious and the people you are trying to advise are not. They are allergic to a properly functioning economy because it compromises their looting opportunities.
Brilliant! If only the gvt can take such contributions seriously. We could be in a better place.
Dumisani's ability to clearly convey these issues not only sheds light on their significance but also inspires informed dialogue and action toward meaningful solutions.
@HStvLiveZim Dhara make this contribution go viral. This is the kind of thinking that will resuscitate this economy
It's the only country I know where a currency is forced on people
We need to start taking these minds seriously to solve the problems in our country. We have the brilliant minds to do this. Honestly we just have to seat down and do the right thing.
Problem is once their ropped in to Govt they become corrupted and just sing along hence forth.
The governor should also stop the black market from the corridors of RBZ.
Great submissions
Why can’t invite such guys to the government? Rather they put silly ED kids. This guy has Zimbabwe and Zimbabweans at heart.
D Sibanda is very correct. I just hope that the relevant authorities take heed of his valuable advise. The President of the country must make use of such innovative economic brains that without doubt can take our economic growth to greater heights.
excellent
This guy is a brilliant
When he was going full throttle on corruption then they decided to cut him off kkkkk
How can a government spend over 20 years failing to deliver a national currency, clean water, electricity, transportation, jobs, education and healthcare just to mention but a few. These are all basic human needs. Hapana angade zvakadaro!
No one wants this rubbish
Simple and straightforward.
Dumi Sibanda is sober minded chap
Simple and straight forward.
Government and the people of Zimbabwe are not in one line you have to discuss the issue of the country with all political parties because of the people that are represented in their respective parties so that we can come together as Zimbabweans
💯
Brilliant guy
I like this kind of analysis...perfect...poor people oriented...a level above the current settings...God bless you!
Sense
Room full of decision makers and they all don't look bothered. Zim is doomed 😭😭
This guy knows what his talking about. The USD is a gift and the curse plus we have a clueless government on top of that.
And this is who they think should be stopped from talking because time is up ...bro ????
We need these minds in government.
Not the current. They can't fit there. This kind must be advisers to advisable government
that intro needs to change comrades 😂
Other than the intro..everything said was on point
It's not only the price of our cement that's the highest in the region, amongst other prvt sector manufactured goods, but the passport produced by govt.
Thank you Dhara for another presentation by this learned economic analyst, he schooled me in 24 minutes something people spend years in university studying yet surprisingly some like Mthuli Ncube can’t even take a leaf out of this senior citizens brain. God bless him. We need an interview with him on your show, and if I may ask him what is the honourable Gentleman’s name?
Kamudhara aka kanotaura sense 😂😂😂😂😂
Very impressive, sound economic principles which can be understood by any layman. Why are such rational, gifted minds alienated from advisory roles in the key sectors of Government? I have a feeling that God is turning all Zanu PF affiliates including the new RBZ Governor into fools just so He can prove a point.
I wish Dhara Bee can invite him as a guest and pick his brains in more depth
Blessed invite mutsvangwa and this guy I think mutsvangwa may learn a lot from simply economic a analysis
Brilliant contribution, sadly they are not even listening 😢
Blessed to have minds like this 🎉, but who uses such to benefit everyone. Instead those in power would rather ignore this kind because they will make it difficult for them to loot.
I am sure that someone does not want any change that will help everyone because when everyone is happy that will Rob them of their loot.
This makes a lot of sense, I hope someone was listening.
More time for dis guy plizz
Zimbabwe kuyadonselwana akuvunyelwana lutho. Hope they agree in politics and move the country forward
My thoughts too!
Zim has always been a very high cost country dominated by cartels, even before independence. This may be partly because of sanctions against Rhodesia, which incentivized sanctions-busting middlemen and local manufacturing based on good quality and high cost. The same cartel mentality is evident today - in fuel and many other sectors
Not Cement only what a Sim card which you can get for free in other countries but in Zimbabwe 3 USD shame
Sim card is a $1in an official econet or netone shop
Wowwwwwwwww , these are real economists not those stupid Praise singers vanongoti heee Huchi Baba , hee ma roads hamuskumaona here
You can't tell that to communists mdara wangu. All they know is command economics dzavakadzidza kupungwe
Economy cannot be rigged
I have come to realize that the reason why all these good things can be said and not implemented is because a certain group of people is benefiting from the crises. Our situation is s lucrative business to some people.
I have known this since 2002
That true and its delibrate, they know what they are doing its a well-calculated move. and they will be telling the citizens to support their move
Dirty politics dirty economy
With no lines of soft loans from international financial institutions like IMF & the World Bank, money issues shall remain Zimbabwe's nightmare.
As long as our economy shall remain as the 'we eat what we catch' there shall always be problems with problems with our exchange rate & inflation because what the country needs is always less than the country's statutory requirements. Money needed for infrastructural development.
The only remedy to this predicament is for the government to mend its relationship with these financial institutions.
Apa gaza vatomudzinga
I respect this kind of thinking, what is the name of this guy
Dumisani Sibanda
❤ Thank you Mr Sibanda if dis Governer seriously want to turn things around he Wil need pple like you n those other economists who are not Zanu bootlickers apa Mushayavalue kana asina kunzwa hameno hake apa audzwa chokwadi chinovaka n wats really happening he shuld take notes 👏👏👏
Say that again
Sound advice unfortunately his time was limited
Why can't GoZ utilize such great minds when making such life-changing decisions🤔?
They're making too much money doing the shit they're doing now
Nothing better than gold even usd that's why big countries are de dollarising
So many times
Why such people with sound thinking are neglected and we end up with people like ED and the Chiwenga who have shallow minds.
So who deindustrialized Zimbabwe?
the title doesnt befit the presantation but any click bait hey
Talk us cheap
Prophet of doom on Zig
With all these so called fundis and technocrats....y zvichiramba....nhamo is just getting worse....tinorasika papi...y countries like Rwanda and Tanzania are miles away from Zimbabwe and getting much better
You sound very convincing. I hope this works. Too many claims out in the world 😂
MC ku dresser kunge munhu akuenda kunotengesa magaka kudaro
My question is, why didn't he make these submissions during the consultations prior to the MPS and formulation? Think this is just grand standing and planting negative sentiment to prove his academic capabilities for his ego massage.
How do you know that he didn't
I can see lots of empty heads dressed in suits fashioning glasses as if educated and knowledgeable.
This guy is talking nothing really,a lot of words but no understanding of investment principle
and there yu are yu know nothing
What should be done, criticizing someone without giving an alternative solution is equally useless
@@Liam-vh8bzand why does he have a lot to say now after the MPS instead of making his submissions during the consultation processes held before monetary policy was formulated?
@@BigMeech1listen twice to understand more.
Why don't you offer something that makes sense yourself
