Bruce Liu, the winner of the 2021 International Chopin Piano Competition in Poland, had already achieved impressive results in several prestigious piano competitions before his victory. However, at that time, he performed no more than ten concerts a year.
After winning the Chopin Competition, Bruce Liu embarked on his performance career almost unintentionally, without even properly celebrating his victory. He spent months away from home, performing nearly 100 concerts in a single season.
Bruce Liu remarked that if he hadn’t won the Chopin Competition, he would have pursued a different profession.

刘晓禹，2021年波兰肖邦国际钢琴比赛的冠军。在获得肖邦冠军之前，他已经在几个有分量的钢琴比赛中获得了颇为出色的成绩，但当时每年不超过10场音乐会。肖赛夺冠后，刘晓禹甚至连夺冠庆祝也没有就糊里糊涂的展开了自己的演奏生涯，几个月没回家，一季有差不多100场音乐会。
刘晓禹表示，如果不是肖邦比赛夺冠，他就去干其它的职业了。
