While, I do wish there was lavalier spots, I'd trade the onboard recording for lavalier mics compared to the 500 Pro x2 for my application anyway. Probably going to try this setup over Rode and see what's good.
Sorry, just saw this. Yea, I love onboard recording. Means I don't have to carry a receiver, and when riding electric skateboards and such, it's nice to just put the mic on and go. Thank you for watching!
Are they waterproof?
I just placed my order, I’m very excited, although, I have fears that months into using the Mics, one day iPhone won’t reconfigure the device while connected.
They aren’t waterproof, but can withstand something like a light sprinkling as long as it’s not prolonged. The possibility of a phone not recognizing a device is always there, but I haven’t had any trouble with it. Have fun!
