what did I just watch? Ultimate troll video by an official company I've ever seen. Hahaha and they just re-titled the video so there would be less backlash. For all people watching this moving forward the video was originally titled "Boxing Day Special [Edition]"

I love it when you guys do photo walks and discuss cameras, you get all the info you need with interesting stuff and silly going on.
As far as cameras go, there's nothing more boring than repetitive new editions of what is essentially the same camera. ( Whatever the brand.)
A proper new model however would be very exciting.

Never had a GR but maybe someday. Compared to a camera like the Fujifilm X100 series this can actually fit in a pocket. In consideration of that, I think most everyone is waiting for a dust and weather resistant one.🟧🟦

I stoped buying gear like 10 years ago, i go with fuji x100t and a sony rx100iii, still i watch all your videos, since the all days , thanks for the funny and cool content, maybe one days if one if cameras die i will go for the current ricoh gr.
They should just combine the 2 cameras and make a 24-40mm zoom with the same fast aperture. A built in flash. That’d make it a clear EDC winner.

Honestly, I love that we get snazzy colour options. Just having the choice is great. I'd love to see a Ghost edition like the Leica Q had, or Reportage edition. Ironically, when I had the choice I bought black, but I like that there are custom options. 😂
I'm a classic 28 photographer myself, so I think a preferred the dynamic look of Kai's shots and the extra context every time over the bokeh and portrait look.

Did they fix the wheel dial issue with this camera??? I got rid of mine cuz the wheel dial got messes up. TWICE!!! Other than that I loved this camera.

I am guessing that maybe someone realized that if they announced something new the day after Christmas people would bring the GR3 camera they got for Christmas back to the store and wait for the newly announced camera. Hopefully the announcement of an announcement didn't cause potential Gr 3 buyers from getting a planned GR3 camera for Chrismas in anticipation of this "Announcement the day after Christmas" camera which ended up being nothing much overall that I can tell. Hope the GR>3 comes out soon.

I'm using the stark boring black 28mm but had fitted a fake yellow ring. Like what you said , it's just a cloak. But I like your yellow coat.😂
I guess the yellow is for the yellow hazard lines, street signs, etc that are found on the asphalt roads.
