Do you just mean a Shire set? Though I suppose my mind *would* also be blown if LEGO made a set based on something which only happened on the books, since the Scouring of the Shire doesn’t happen in the movies.
I think there are some leaks of information that suggest both a shire set and a 'You shall not pass!' Gandalf vs the Balrog bridge scene as well. Exciting times for Lego Lord of the Rings fans.
@@lordly123 A shire set is expected. A scouring of the shire set would be completely unexpected. Like, I'm not a gambling man, but I'd be willing to bet $10,000 that it would never happen.
I mean the new arm printed Dumbledore, McGonagall and Snape are pretty great... Also Cal Kestis, Ahsoka the white, Jedi Vader, etc. Star Wars really killed it this year minifigure wise.
I was SO fortunate to find a trans neon green visor in my Dad’s collection that my Grandma thankfully has kept all these years. Also found an unused round chrome silver sticker in surprisingly good condition and nearly perfectly straight flex hose in old grey, to name a few.
Thankfully, those coveted trans-neon visors are still available on Bricklink for very reasonable prices, at least in Europe. I think I saw 20 of them on the first page for 2cts a piece, that is not a huge deal at all to get for the M-Tron upgrade.
My favourite Minifigure this year has got to be the new Basil the Batlord from series 25. Dual-molded legs, good printing, new shield print, new helmet and especially the cool new cape.
@@CheeseyStudios Yeah, me too. Ever since I bought the Lion Knight's castle I haven't been able to resist buying all the new medieval minifigures they've released.
My only downside for that figure is how hard it is to use the parts for other projects than Fright knights or vampires as a theme. I cannot seriously mount that headpiece on a medieval knight, unless it is from that theme specifically.
I do think Sauron is well deserving of minifigure of the year 👌 Also, I think the Sonic figures like Shadow and Knuckles are pretty great figures with the molded parts and great printing🫨👍

@@kentslocum Yes, although I'm more sad that Lego has this blind box nonsense in place causing this issue. If anything, CMF's need to be printed to demand individually, just like normal sets.
The Fabuland figures (of which I own a few out of my parent's collection) are not as good as the Animal Crossing ones. A lot less detail and they are more chunky and sturdy than minifigures, which makes sense considering the intended audience was much younger and they were intented for heavy play. No Fortnite minifigures? My lawyers will be in touch soon. Honestly, great video though. I love how you show the BrickLink price next to each of your picks as well. I actually split my top 10 into licensed & unlicensed because there were so many I liked this year. My top 10 unlicensed minifigures of the year are: 1. Alien Beetlezoid because I love Galaxy Squad! 2. Orion 3. Climber Zane 4. Izzie 5. Vampire Knight 6. Flying Saucer Costume Fan 7. Climber Jay 8. Year of the Dragon Costume Guy 9. Nurse Android 10. Dragonborn Paladin (Fun fact, this minifigure actually caused the prices of the Red & Blue Dragons from Vidiyo to skyrocket in price.) 2. Jedi Vader (I love non canon Star Wars content) 3. The Lizard (I can’t believe this is our 1st version of this iconic Spider-Man villain.) 4. Sauron 5. Drift (All the Fortnite minifigures are amazing but this is my favorite one.) 6. Cal Kestis (We need more licensed video game tie in products!) 7. Raven from Fortnite (Dual Molded legs with side leg printing feels extra deluxe for a standard retail set. The only way they could’ve made this minifigure better is by including arm printing.) 8. Gambit 9. Ghost Spider with Wings. (It reminds me of Spider-Man 2 for PS5 which was my Game of the Year in 2023.) 10. Batman from the Gotham City Skyline set. (So nice to finally get some Batman the Animated Series love this year!) Honorable mentions: Drax, Moff Gideon, Imperial Praetorian Guard, Jedi Bob, Darth Malak, & Max Rebo
Lots of good picks on both lists. It really was a great year for minifigures! The Fortnite ones definitely all get an honorable mention from me - they've been done extremely well so far

Beyond that, my favorite figures of the year are definitely BOTW Link and Zelda, the Dragonborn Paladin, Szass Tam, the M-Tron power lifter, Orion, and of course, none other than the new updated Minecraft Steve just for his expression.
Great list, Cheesey. I got back into Lego after 20 years and had a blast seeing all these incredible new minifigures. I grew up with Ice Planet when I was a kid so it was so cool seeing a new version of the minifigures. Animal Crossing has definitely been the highlight for me this year along with the D&D figs.
If they do a Shire set, I really hope that they include the "final form" hobbits rather than the starting versions. Toss in a few "goblin men" as well as "Sharkey" (broken Saruman, bonus points if he has a broken staff build) and Wormtongue (with a dagger, naturally). Rosie and a few other named hobbits would really bring the minifigure line to a solid close. The only real hang-up is that they probably only have access to film stuff, which would make the Scouring of the Shire elements unavailable.
I would prefer a few Nazguls to be included in that set as well, they are incredibly expensive on the secondary market and a perfect collection would need at least a few of them.
It’s so cool that there’s a Lady of Pain minifigure, never thought I would’ve seen that especially like almost 30 years after Planescape. My other favorites are the elf wizard from that super expensive DnD set and Nu Wa from the big Monkie Kid set. Using arbitrary made-up “power level scaling” they’re like logarithmically stronger than the rest of my “LEGO forces” combined.
Personally, my favorite minifigure of the year is Nuwa from Monkie Kid Celestial Pagoda (set #80058). I particularly appreciate the ridiculous amount of decoration, the spring green coloration, and the awesome use of the snake lower torso. 😊
I remember pre ordering the Deku Tree set because I had been wanting a Zelda set for years, and the minifigures absolutely delivered! The Link figure you highlighted looks even better with the Master Sword and Hylian Shield in hand.
I'm so happy that that set actually landed with people that really love Zelda as a franchise. I wasn't impressed at all with the Deku tree, because of it's price, but I'm not a Zelda fan or even very well known with what is in the games. I think that they should have made a cheap set with a basic Link figure included for the casual fans and a bigger, more elaborate set with more figures for the true Zelda afficianados. Still, this is great to hear that they did design that set well for the target audience.
@@pinobluevogel6458 I’m a big Zelda fan and I loved the Deku tree, and honestly I think it’s worth the price. Agree that we really need smaller sets to make even more minifigures and get them accessible
@Blue-Ninja2000 Yea. My point was that the small tower + basic Link figure would have made a great 20-25 dollar set on it's own that would have sold extremely well. They could have then released a siightly cheaper Deku tree, or a more complete Deku tree with even more figures and accessories. Currently, however fun the set is, I think it is just not great value. Just a beautiful set which is a bit on the steep side in price.
Doing a quick rewatch and comment because I don't know if the algorhythm takes into account traction from members-only content. As always, very high quality camera work and editing to keep it really short and sweet. This is exactly how you make a top 10 list. Just quickly reposting my personal top 10 here, I hope others will do the same. My list is mostly based on price and on reusabillity of their parts for Mocs, in addition to being simply very sweet figures in their own right. 1. Dragonborn Paladin 2. Dwarven Barbarian 3. Goatherder 5. Arrakoa Ranger 6. Tax Collector 7. Halfling Druid 8. Female Barbarian 9. Strad von Zarovich. 10. Vampire Knight The only reason I don't have the Vampire Knight from the CMF 26 series higher, is that the a lot of the armor parts (helmet, shield and weapon) all look crazy good, but are not easily usable for anything but this specific faction. Also, his accessibility is probably very bad now.
I was not expecting these particular minifigures as your top 10 (2 space figures, a D&D figure, and Star Wars!), but heck yes! you nailed it. My favorite this year is the Lady of Pain, but I have a huge affinity for the source material
YESSSS another Lady of Pain enjoyer! I fear people will lose their minds when this goes live that I didn't choose the Dragon Paladin, ha. I'll admit to knowing nothing about the source material, but she's so cool that I'm curious to learn more!
1:13 I’m not a fan of Animal Crossing (the game), but I still love the Lego sets. But mostly for the minifigs. Don’t get me wrong - they’re pretty good builds with nice parts selections, but they’re just not really for me and only a handful of parts in each are new or rare. So I’m really only buying them for the minifigs, and those are pretty steep prices for one to three minifigs. And I, too, basically see Fabuland 2. So for me, probably the best so far is the fawn - it hits that sweet spot of being not too anthropomorphized, not too animalistic. Isabelle is cute, but I never would’ve figured out she’s a lamb/sheep by looking at the minifig.
The Animal Crossing sets, like the Friends theme, are often discounted or sometimes found in thrift shops for a fraction of the cost. That is some of the cheapest Lego you can find and they have a lot of fun pieces too.
@@CheeseyStudios no I think your choices are right probably switch a few placements but other than that I think your options and choices were good ones
The new Lego space theme is one of my favorites! My wife got me the big circular space station. Not sure if you have reviewed the theme yet, but it is worth a look!
For some reason I was surprised with your pick for #1. I had completely forgotten that Barad-Dur had released this year, even though it was sitting less than two feet away from me when I watched this video lol. Sauron is absolutely the perfect pick for #1, and I am beyond excited to see when/if Lego Lord of the Rings delivers again on some legendary minifigures (Witch King PLEASE!!!!!).
no Cal Kestis... rioting shall ensue. Jokes aside this really was a spectacular year for both minifigures and sets, and although certain figures being featured in the list were easy to predict, it's fun to hear your personal views on certain figures/the characters they're representing!
This was a tough list to narrow down for sure. There was a lot of good stuff happening this year, and I can tell LEGO is leaning into minifigure appeal more and more with the adult market.
The D&D CMF was by far the best recieved by the castle community and for good reason. Not just amazing figures but also a lot of good accessories included. For sure after being incredibly disappointed with the Space CMF, having that was such a blessing.
I would have put the Beetleoid from the Space CMF on my personal list because it honestly was a minifigure I didn't think I'd like, but I absolutely love it along with the Robot butler from the same CMF line.
@@CheeseyStudios I actually hope they try making a CMF series based on Lego island characters, I'd love to see what they could do for a Pepper Roni, Infomaniac, and Brickster minifigure!
I said I would riot if none of the D&D where in the top 3... goo work haha. I will say, I think the Warlock. You get to pick male or female head. New weapon mold and the body and legs can be used a lot. Also, no bat lord? It will be a hard year to top.
I have a question if anyone can help? I'm interested in joining the cheesey studios descord server, but when I join, it tells me to connect my accounts from youtube and discord together in order to see the other channels. I've done it, but it won't let me view the other channels. Is this because I need to be a member to join the discord properly?
My #1 Minifig of the year spot goes to Basil the Bat Lord without a doubt, his new helmet, the printed cape and the axe are nice upgrades to the original design, then again I'm one of the 3 Fright Knights fans that are still around so I'm a little biased...
I just love the classic ones so much. But it was cool to see Fright Knights get some love this year! Now a CMF version of Willa the Witch could be spectacular...
Ice Planet Explorer is the only figures I got from that wave of CMF despite there being so many great figures. I don’t have any sets (yet) but there’s something very intriguing about Ice Planet 2002! I hope we get a figure of Porter from Animal Crossing but I have my doubts because he didn’t appear in the game that these sets are based around Great choices all around!
I remember saying in a lego discord server that the Lady Of pain was unironically my favourite fig of the dnd cmf, glad someone else shares that opinion lol
Fabuland 2 is pretty great. my top this year are (based on sets i bought, that released this year) Gurney Halleck, Never Witch, Mr.Oz in golden power armour, and KT-QT.
They just need to do an entire Fantasy Line like they did Space. Include D&D sets with it, LOTR, Castle, fantasy sets, and just make it an entire theme itself. Disagree on Lady of pain, while I know the Dragonborne was the popular, I just think the Druid was so versatile in use of him in various settings that he deserves at least to be on par with her here.
Very very solid list, and I think the Space and D&D CMF lines this year have been a real treat for minifigures. Also why are your number screens so aggressive lmao
The animal crossing figures beautiful and truly my favorite thing from this year, also in the opening you showed the line up of Harry Potter figures and I was like, no way he doesn't do that molly figure. Lowkey never seen that Belle before but wow, I love it. Ironically, I think the Lady of Pain has another use, when it first release the crown piece instantly reminded me of Namor's crown type thingy from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
I think the Dreamzzz Nightmare king or Nightmare Witch deserves a position in this list they are amazing figures! :D anyeay asome list my only criticism is rly the 3rd choise, i dont really like the rubber head piece, also the warlock has awesome knifes!
I'm so excited when I saw that the first one from the 2023 Harry Potter advent pack I think let me opening right now had the Minifigures a little bit shorter but their legs still rotate so nice
VERY solid List bro! For me for fig to be on such list NEEDSto have dedicated at least ONE piece. Thats why IMO best fig for this year is...Dragonborn Paladin. This fig shows Lego CAN produce Hight quality figs for cheap. Thats why most of new figures are very meh to me because they often feel...not special... LAck of prints, dual molding or specialized pieces... I love what Lego did with ANimal Crossing, hope we will get more, but here in Poland it does not sell that well :< Sauron for me is Minifig fail. For wsuch fig they SHOULD HAVE GOT two molds...
Dragonborn Paladin is definitely going to go down as the figure of the year - I've never seen a figure talked about so much! It's a glorious minifigure for sure.
"The Fabuland knockoff theme" 😆🤣😂 No shade to Animal Crossing, but Fabuland really was something. It's great to get a comeback to it through Nintendo's game. I personally have 3681: Amusement Park and 3673: Steam Boat. They're just brilliant.
Not sure I agree on Molly Weasley making the list. The outfit is fantastic but while the expressions are great the actual face design looks nothing like the actress/character, and the hairpiece is just unequivocally atrocious (To a lesser extent I feel the same about Saw being at #2, imo his prosthetic leg just being a bit of printing on the front of the foot is totally unconvincing). On the other hand, surprised that none of the Sonic minifigures made the list - the new head molds are pretty on-par with Animal Crossing (arguably higher quality because every head uses 2 or 3 colors of plastic), plus printed double-molded legs and (on some) printed or double-molded arms.
I agree on the Molly figure, the printing looks great with the knitted sweater look on the arms, but otherwise she isn't that special to me. But I realise that I don't have any particular affection or tie to Harry Potter, which for sure influenced this position on the list to some extent.
I've waited a whole year for this!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Also, could you please organise the 'top 10 of the year' playlist so that 2024 is in the same rows as the other years?
Good selection! 2024 was an insane year, so much good stuff. That's funny, some of them are in my top bummer of the year (while being excellent minifigures nonetheless); - M:Tron lacking visor, inacceptable. Could've been the opportunity to bring a trans-BRIGHT green visor on the table the same way they did for the trans-orange chainsaw instead of trans-neon orange for the Ice Planet astronaut. - Sauron and Lady of Pain for their extremely specialised head/headgear. Helmet + armor in one piece? Not cool! Same for the face-helmet of the Lady. Also rubber helmets.. bleh.
Ngl knowing you I expected more Harry Potter figures. Glad to see the lady of pain here. Tho I do wish there were more un licensed figures here besides 2 space factions. For an opinionated video it doesn’t matter, I just feel legos own ips are important to go over still
You know, me and my brother have thought of another License that could fill in for Fabuland. Arthur. It's got anthropomorphic animal people, doing normal stuff. Just imagine owning a Library set, with Library card fun. Also, I doubt the License for Arthur toys is not.. in the highest demand? So the sets MAY be cheaper than most licensed sets.. (I don't know anything about that kind of stuff, just a super uninformed theory) Would love to personally see this happen though. I know Peebs would probably kill for an Arthur Lego set.
Amazing list for sure. I too love the link in the Deku Tree set, but sadly also have not bought it😢(The price is about 100 dollars too outrageous lol). Definitely an overpriced set for sure, I’m hoping after Christmas I can find a good deal on bricklink lol.
@@CheeseyStudios I think people would warm up to that set even more if they split it up in 2 sets seperately. The tree looks cool, but not everyone wants to spend so much money. A 20 dollar set with the small tower sidebuild + the original Link figure would remedy that. (and I would have him in my top ten as well if they did exactly that)
What the odds that a Belle character is made the year my Drama class does Beauty and the Beast as the play. I’m the narrator so my character pretty much can’t get a character sadly enough.
I really wanted to get the m tron figure, I scanned every figure in the box to try and find it but no. I did get the ice planet explorer though, as well as the black tron figure
@@CheeseyStudios as much as I enjoyed trying to feel for parts, as someone who has only ever gotten like 6 collectible minifigs before, I never got good enough with it to risk losing my money on something mediocre.

The only reason I don't have the Vampire Knight from the CMF 26 series higher, is that the a lot of the armor parts (helmet, shield and weapon) all look crazy good, but are not easily usable for anything but this specific faction.
I can’t argue with how you rated your mini figures that was spot on give or take a few but than that yeah I like your choices
I'm glad to hear it! Are there any figures you personally would have added?
@@CheeseyStudios no I think your choices are right probably switch a few placements but other than that I think your options and choices were good ones
@@CheeseyStudios D&D vampire. He has good prints.
awesome video. watched it during my math test.
So so epic 🔥
I think that this year was a standout for minifigure accessories. I saw so many cool, unique, and useful parts
I noticed that as well. I was especially hyped for the unique wand moulds introduced in Harry Potter!
The vampire knight definetly also deserved a spot here imo
I honestly just prefer the classic Bat Lord! It's a bit nostalgic to me as I had a few growing up.
@@CheeseyStudios He is good for army building tho
Link has to be #1 for me. He is so iconic of a video game character. People have been making really cool mocs because both the Links exist.
So glad LEGO finally made a Legend of Zelda set. It was about time!
The new Lego space theme is one of my favorites! My wife got me the big circular space station. Not sure if you have reviewed the theme yet, but it is worth a look!
4:49 I got a duplicate lady of pain and that's not a problem for me. Lady of pain is a cool figure with fancy gold printing
Can I have one?
You really couldn't go wrong with any dupes from the D&D line honestly 😂
For some reason I was surprised with your pick for #1. I had completely forgotten that Barad-Dur had released this year, even though it was sitting less than two feet away from me when I watched this video lol. Sauron is absolutely the perfect pick for #1, and I am beyond excited to see when/if Lego Lord of the Rings delivers again on some legendary minifigures (Witch King PLEASE!!!!!).
I cannot believe we haven't gotten the Witch King yet 😭
I feel like Nüwa and Jedi Vader should be in the list
Yes! I thought I was the only one who even noticed Nuwa. 😊
Both are great picks, and they were on my shortlist for sure. It's so hard to narrow it down to 10!
no Cal Kestis... rioting shall ensue.
If he had the cloak from Qui-Gon in the Sith Infiltrator, maybe!!
@@pinobluevogel6458 My pile of castle figures was greatly improved with the CMFs. The elf bard's lute has gorgeous printing.
@@Franek-t1v Agreed. That bard is just excellent.
Great video even if I'm not totally sold on your selection.
I appreciate that! I definitely had a few hot takes in here 😂
Yeah, good figures all round this year.
I was pretty impressed when I looked back on them all! Lots of great details across so many themes
RIP Trans Neon Green and Trans Neon Orange 😢
Also the lady of pain is probably my favorite figure ever. I'm glad she made the list
I'm so glad you love the figure too! She rocks that orange color.
It would be so cool if Lego was brought back trans orange and green! (And sand colours of course)
I really don't know why they cut them out in the first place 😭
Sauron is my favorite too! I got him and he’s absolutely amazing!
I can't wait for more LotR figures! They've been so cool
I would have put the Beetleoid from the Space CMF on my personal list because it honestly was a minifigure I didn't think I'd like, but I absolutely love it along with the Robot butler from the same CMF line.
The space CMF had so many great figs. I hope we see more like it for other themes (like medieval, of course!)
@@CheeseyStudios I NEED MEDIEVAL CMF LINE
@@CheeseyStudios I actually hope they try making a CMF series based on Lego island characters, I'd love to see what they could do for a Pepper Roni, Infomaniac, and Brickster minifigure!
YOOOO! Saruman being in the Hobbiton set as part of the Scouring of the Shire in Lego is maybe too incredible to be true
Yeah, I don't think that'll ever happen 😭
I said I would riot if none of the D&D where in the top 3... goo work haha. I will say, I think the Warlock. You get to pick male or female head. New weapon mold and the body and legs can be used a lot. Also, no bat lord? It will be a hard year to top.
This year had amazing minifigures for sure. I also love that the Warlock comes with a mini baby dragon and 2 of the elaborate daggers.
2024 set a crazy high bar. I'm very curious to see what next year will have to offer!
nice selection. Belle has dropped to about thirty bucks but to get all four minifigs for that set you have to spend over 70 plus shipping.
Yeah, it was probably for the best I just ended up buying it lol... At least it's a good parts pack!
I have a question if anyone can help? I'm interested in joining the cheesey studios descord server, but when I join, it tells me to connect my accounts from youtube and discord together in order to see the other channels. I've done it, but it won't let me view the other channels. Is this because I need to be a member to join the discord properly?
Yeah, most of the Discord channels are exclusive to members! We'd love to have you if you're interested in joining.
My favorite is the alien tourist
That one is so funny lol - I need to pick that figure up at some point
@CheeseyStudios 👽❤️🌎
I hope we get a figure of Porter from Animal Crossing but I have my doubts because he didn’t appear in the game that these sets are based around
Great choices all around!
Ice Planet has great vibes. I absolutely love the color scheme!
I remember saying in a lego discord server that the Lady Of pain was unironically my favourite fig of the dnd cmf, glad someone else shares that opinion lol
Yessssss. She looks amazing!
i feel like the minifig in the middle at 0:00 would be perfect for a generic power armor suit from Fallout
CMF is like the last bastion of fun minifigs.
This was a great list that has my favorite mininfig from 2024 ❤
Ooh, which one was your favorite?
Fabuland 2 is pretty great.
my top this year are (based on sets i bought, that released this year)
Gurney Halleck, Never Witch, Mr.Oz in golden power armour, and KT-QT.
All great picks. Gurney Halleck is so good. Man, I'd love another Dune set 😭
Again this is one of the most skeptical lists I have ever seen but it’s still a great video
I appreciate it 😂 I feel this is at least a little less controversial than the sets one lol
Lady of Pain is a great lounge singer for my Star Wars Mos Eisley...
Love that idea, could fit into a starwars scene easily.
That is too perfect!
In my opinion the C3PO with side leg printing, dual moulded legs and arm printing from the buildable C3PO is top 5
That's another awesome pick!
Barad Dur winning Solid Brix's set of the year, and Sauron winning Cheeseys figure of the year. Feels really fitting.
It was a great set! I can't wait for more LotR stuff
Seeing the number 2 figure genuinely surprised me. I'm so happy it got the recognition
I don't get hyped for Star Wars figures often, but that one was definitely a winner!
That would be legendary
Very very solid list, and I think the Space and D&D CMF lines this year have been a real treat for minifigures.
Also why are your number screens so aggressive lmao
I always love an excuse to bring out the "echoing thud" sound effect 🤣
The raven fig from the battle bus was also really good
I was very impressed by the Fortnite figures!
The Belle was definitely a relative latecomer - I wanna say that set was only just released a month or two ago. Quite a few cool figures in it, too!
@CheeseyStudios Real as hell
surprised fortnite raven isnt in here imo he is such a standout with his amazing headmold and leg printing
I was really impressed by all the Fortnite figures!
I think the Dreamzzz Nightmare king or Nightmare Witch deserves a position in this list they are amazing figures! :D anyeay asome list my only criticism is rly the 3rd choise, i dont really like the rubber head piece, also the warlock has awesome knifes!
I think those are both 2023 figures!
@CheeseyStudios oh you are right! Time flies!
I'm so excited when I saw that the first one from the 2023 Harry Potter advent pack I think let me opening right now had the Minifigures a little bit shorter but their legs still rotate so nice
The medium legs are so handy!
R u gonna do top themes
My last video will be top 10 parts! ruclips.net/video/VPVrwy2qTF4/видео.html
@ ❤️
1:24 I knew she would be on the list ❤
My favorite minifigs this year are 100% coming from the D&D theme. And second place would be animal crossing.
The CMF series really spoiled us this year!
Can you post the Lego world as a real Minecraft world for bedrock edition
Currently, the world download is available for members only
When you finish the Lego moc will you make it be public for nonmembers and also make a animation for it and add herobrine minifigure even the farlands
Can you please start doing top 10 Lego Minecraft vids?
Like all time favorite sets?
@@CheeseyStudiosyes all time sets, figures, etc
yoooo fabuland 2 would be so hypeeeeeeee
real
VERY solid List bro!
For me for fig to be on such list NEEDSto have dedicated at least ONE piece.
Thats why IMO best fig for this year is...Dragonborn Paladin. This fig shows Lego CAN produce Hight quality figs for cheap.
Thats why most of new figures are very meh to me because they often feel...not special... LAck of prints, dual molding or specialized pieces...
I love what Lego did with ANimal Crossing, hope we will get more, but here in Poland it does not sell that well :<
Sauron for me is Minifig fail. For wsuch fig they SHOULD HAVE GOT two molds...
Dragonborn Paladin is definitely going to go down as the figure of the year - I've never seen a figure talked about so much! It's a glorious minifigure for sure.
yeah Lady Jessica is a sick minifig and the character is pretty hot in the movie hahah
I can't argue with the facts
That's pretty amusing, I bought the set with Saw and don't actually care much about Saw. I'd've been happy to send him to you lol.
That's hilarious 😂 And here I couldn't care less about the rest of it!
@ I suggest a trade…
I was thinking of putting the Lady of Pain mask on Lady Liberty to make some sort of old Medusa statue or something
dune was a GREAT choice!
I think that set was one of the biggest surprises of the year - I never thought they'd make something like that!
I feel like neary every dnd minifigure could find a spot on this list, their printing and accesories are immaculate
Every one of them has something exclusive.
@@Franek-t1v i rest my case
There were so many good options!
"The Fabuland knockoff theme" 😆🤣😂
No shade to Animal Crossing, but Fabuland really was something.
The video game figures they've been doing have all been pretty incredible - Fortnite too! If only they'd do Mario figures now...
Hey Cheesey, When do you plan to make a video for the Deep Jungle wave of Exo force, I can’t wait to see it any longerrr
Not sure at the moment. Work has been very busy these past few months :(
@ ah okay, completely understand, no problem dude
I've waited a whole year for this!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Also, could you please organise the 'top 10 of the year' playlist so that 2024 is in the same rows as the other years?
Ah, good catch! Thanks for the heads up
The space theme was so gooood!!! The guy who's like 80% Trans purple is in my top ten
There were so many great ones. I still need to add the purple guy to my collection!
Good selection! 2024 was an insane year, so much good stuff.
That's funny, some of them are in my top bummer of the year (while being excellent minifigures nonetheless);
- M:Tron lacking visor, inacceptable.
Also rubber helmets.. bleh.
You do bring up good points. I wonder if they'll ever do an M-Tron classic remake set, and sub in trans-bright green instead
1:41 As soon as I saw Molly Weasley I said this line out loud to myself 😂
Yesssssssssss LOL
Ngl knowing you I expected more Harry Potter figures. Glad to see the lady of pain here. Tho I do wish there were more un licensed figures here besides 2 space factions. For an opinionated video it doesn’t matter, I just feel legos own ips are important to go over still
Oh yeah! I remember the one you're talking about.
Great list. Ice Planet should of course be at no. 1, M-Tron at 2., and then you are missing Blacktron at 3. ;)
Ah, I sure do love that Blacktron guy too. :) Excited for the upcoming Renegade remake that's rumored!
@@CheeseyStudios Yes, unfortunately it will be Blacktron 1 again. I love Blacktron 2 more (due to trans-neon green of course).
(I don't know anything about that kind of stuff, just a super uninformed theory)
Would love to personally see this happen though.
I know Peebs would probably kill for an Arthur Lego set.
Ah, that is a classic!
Nice top 10, Mr Cheesey! 😊 And I do hope those trans-neon colors will return, someday.
Ahhh, me too 😭
Maybe because it was so early in the year but I’ve noticed a lot of lists are missing CMF 25 figures.
There were definitely some good ones in there, but they had some tough competition this year!
Amazing list for sure. I too love the link in the Deku Tree set, but sadly also have not bought it😢(The price is about 100 dollars too outrageous lol). Definitely an overpriced set for sure, I’m hoping after Christmas I can find a good deal on bricklink lol.
Fingers crossed! The price on that one is brutal. It would have been nice if they sold both trees separately instead 😬
@ For sure! I was mostly interested in the ocarina of time version anyways lol 😂.
@@CheeseyStudios I think people would warm up to that set even more if they split it up in 2 sets seperately. The tree looks cool, but not everyone wants to spend so much money. A 20 dollar set with the small tower sidebuild + the original Link figure would remedy that. (and I would have him in my top ten as well if they did exactly that)
Sauron let's goooooooo!
Ohhhh yeah. He's so good!
I can't believe the dragonborn paladin wasn't even on the list!
For me, the colors were just a bit too bland. The details were on point though!
Hope we get more lord of the ribga sets like minis tirth abd mount doom an
Me too. Shire is rumored for next year 👀
What the odds that a Belle character is made the year my Drama class does Beauty and the Beast as the play. I’m the narrator so my character pretty much can’t get a character sadly enough.
I really wanted to get the m tron figure, I scanned every figure in the box to try and find it but no. I did get the ice planet explorer though, as well as the black tron figure
The scanners are a blessing and a curse 😭 I miss the days when it took the skill of feeling out the packages
@@CheeseyStudios as much as I enjoyed trying to feel for parts, as someone who has only ever gotten like 6 collectible minifigs before, I never got good enough with it to risk losing my money on something mediocre.
some figures i would put on the list would be:
Basil the batlord redux from CMF 25
the jaws figures
the new sonic figures (specifically shadow and Super Sonic)
and Strahd von zarovich
I was really impressed by the Jaws figures too - they captured their respective actors really really well.
Excellent choices, both those vampires are crazy good and the Jaws figures I forgot to take into account for sure.
I’m surprised Gambit and the other X-Men aren’t here. You didn’t have the Zelda set either
Had the Link figure though! I think the set itself was way too expensive
Make the pale garden
Good idea!
Link’s minifigure just makes me sad… for how amazing the Super Mario theme COULD have been. 😕
Indeed 😭 I swear LEGO and Nintendo just do it to spite us all
