Absolutely stunning! Love the crunch, great way to really hear the guitar without using excessive distortion which really doesnt say much of the actual sound. Great video all around! 🎸🤘🏽
That's what I wanted to know! I need a weight reliefed LP so I've been pondering keepin' Epi' Sound ALIVE via an EPI LP Studio but I never hear the right tone. THAT'S the right tone. Thanks for answering my query Man.
Just like the gent said below my remark .. Wish I could get mine to sound half as good as this one .. Need to do a prof . set-up for sure .. And then , if it still sounds trashy , let it occupy the fireplace for a week..
.... I have a 2013 Studio made in Korea.... everything is excellent (all factory) ...... but I shall be swapping out the pickups for the new Epiphone Probuckers I think.
Hi! I want to buy this guitar or a Gretsch Streamliner Jet Club DRK , which one should I buy? I'm using an sss fender and I want a stronger sound, my infrastructure is ready for use with pedals. Which should I get?
Of course the playing was very nice but the guitar has a great voice. I have one just like it,..With some initial tweaks, it is one of my favorite guitars for playability and tone.
Awesome playing. The one I bought is set up perfectly and actually stays in tune, unlike the last Gibson les paul I owned. I would also take these pickups any day of the week over the BB pros that I had on my last one that were sterile sounding. The 490/498 are warner... which is why the custom shop guitars have them. Now the cons... the finishes are boring and fingerprint magnets. I mean that black and red ones are sooo old... the tangerine looks like an easter egg. I bought the smokehouse burst and it looks like an ash tray from a 70s lounge... but is supposed to be a modern color? Again, sooo boring. Also, the coil tapping is worthless on this guitar... sounds terrible. Prs coil tapping is waaaay better in every way. If you are thinking of saving money and buying the tribute instead... and don't care to pay more for a high gloss finish I would say go with the tribute the coil splits aren't worth the added cost. I do think the finish looks better than most tributes but still lacking. But so are the new Gibson standard colors now... Gibson fans are just boring and only want the same old thing their rock idols had back in the day versus something new and modern. That's why I have three PRS guitars and only one Gibson. Prs is light years ahead with design, colors, etc. My cheaper PRS Chris Robertson even sounds better than my new Gibson studio and it's asian made..go figure. But again this studio is still a great sounding guitar. I'm so glad they got rid of the awful Kluson tuners. They were a real eye sore. Maybe that's why this one actually stays in tune. I'm still deciding if this Gibson is a keeper. If I didn't have better sounding and playing PRS guitars I would definately keep it. With all of this said at least you can get a usa pro sounding Gibson... same as the standard without the bling you don't need... for less that $1,500. You have to spend about $3,800 to get a core PRS... and the cheaper PRS either don't have set necks or are Asian made... but still epic
It is weight relieved. Mine is the lightest of all 11 of my Les Pauls that is made up of both Gibson and Epiphone. I dont scale weigh guitars but its noticeably lighter than any non-weight relieved Les Paul.
Pleasure to hear you play! Thank you for playing clean!
Ottima chitarra e ottimo playng.
Everything about this looks and sounds like my Gibson Studio Smokehouse burst. Spot on!
They really look very similar. Thanks for your feedback!

Thank you very much for your feedback. The sound of these pickups is very honeyed.
This is the best review of this guitar that I have seen on the internet. Well done, and thank you!
Thank you!!!
What amp are you using?
Nice demo . Its with a nice good clean sound like this that we can really hear the guitar properly . Thank you . Well done !
Thanks for your feedback.
Sounds amazing. Brilliant video. What amp are you using?
Решил приобрести эту модель после просмотра этого видео. Цвета тоже такие же.
Это отличный тон! Спасибо.

Nice phrasings!
Fantastic playing. Hands down.
Thank you.
Thank goodness someone using a clean sound, distortion does nothing to show off the guitar
We agree with you, you can hear the guitar only on clean or crunch.
Beautiful playing!
Thank you 💓
Amazing playing, sounds great!
A 350 Euro guitar in the right hands can do miracles! 😁

Nice playing! Played clean, too! Too many 'reviewers' max out distortion and that kills any sense of the guitar's tone.
We try to listen to all guitars initially with minimal gain in order to understand the sound of the instrument. Thank you very much for your feedback.

Nice sound & color.
Thanks for your feedback.
I want to buy this guitar.
Do you recommend me?
what's the difference with the other one that uses a dot inlay?

We also really like the 490 pickups, but over time, I become more and more a fan of the 57 classics. Thank you for your interesting review.
@@gizmomusic156 I've never tried the 57's but I hear they are good... Thanks
How heavy is it compared to most LPs?
Not more than 3.4 kilograms
