What muahammad hijab forgot to tell him was this English is a word by word translation, and Qur'an is a not a just normal Nobel that every one can read and understand by him self, you need to study in front of teachers, is like buying a medical science book and saying that you are a doctor or you can go and make a surgery because you read a medical surgical book simple.

As I know in the time of the massager Mohammed pboh some bibles not corrupted as example the king of Ethiopia The messenger pboh said they still on the truth of Jesus bible!! otherwise Allah commands it's clearly said Judge between them over theirs book because Allah knows at that time they still have some bibles not corrupted or the bible at that time still contains the same provisions that exist in the Quran like eye for an eye ..etc . I think Allah mean it also if there are corruption in their bible it's more harsh on them more than Quran in some places like who's cursing his parents deserve to die or as what bible said. Anyway Allah said the the true religion of Allah is islam that means all bibles or books it's canceled because Quran sent to correct all miss understanding in other holy books .

Hijab recites the Arabic because the Quran is in Arabic. The translation in any language is not the Quran. Its recited in Arabic before giving the translation in any language because it is how we show respect and honour to it. Its not important to a non Muslim to hear the Arabic but a Muslim believes the Quran to be the word of God and shows respect towards it. If I asked a Jew a question about the Torah and they first recite it in Hebrew I would not be offended or tell them to hurry up. To have a fruitful discussion there should be respect on both sides. The vast majority of Christians rejected the Trinity as it was an innovation and therefore rejected. But Paul needed to convince the Greeks the accept Christianity. For the Greeks, they needed Jesus peace be upon him to be more than 'just a man', because they believed that special people were either gods or demi gods. They wouldnt accept a 'mere human'. So Jesus peace be upon him, who was never described as God, had to be attributed with divinity. I've had this conversation with my Christian sister in law. She can't clearly prove even now, after the Bible has been changed, where in the Bible Jesus is clearly referred to as God. We have PLENTY in the Bible to contest he isnt God - he was born, he ate, he slept, and (Christian's believe) he was crucified. All these contradict the definition of God - All Knowing, All Powerful, is not born, and does not die. Please look at what Br Hamza Myatt has to say on the Bible and the Trinity. Real eye opener.

It seems there's a lot of emphasis on these vague references (shepherd could mean Prophet guiding the people, for example), but the evidence that he isnt God - his human limitations that contradict the definitionof Who God is - are ignored. Jesus even prayed to God and told his followers to worship God. If Jesus has to worship God, it shows his dependency on His Creator. Muslims only pray to the All Powerful God as He controls all, not Jesus the one who is dependent on God.

Surah Ikhlas clearly spells it out; 'Say: "He is Allah, He is One. He is Self Sufficient. He begets not, nor was He begotten (does not have children, nor was He born). And none is equal or comparable unto Him"'. Lot clearer that. And that's just one chapter that Muslims learn right from childhood. And the biggest sin in Islam is shirk - polytheism, or attributing divinity to humans, or saying Allah is like humans.

This guy keeps shifting the goalpost. It becomes a never ending interrogation; he raises one point, receives an answer, moves away to another point, just to keep an argument going.
    5:46
And We sent on their footsteps; Isa, son (of) Maryam, confirming what (was) between his hands of the Taurat, and We gave him the Injeel, in it (was) guidance and light and confirming what (was) between his hands of the Taurat, and a guidance and an admonition for the God conscious.
This is a literal interpretation of the Arabic words and their order, so that the sentences may not sound right in English, but it's just to stick to what the verse says. Read carefully. This is my own interpretation, and Allah knows best, but just see if it makes sense to you.. it says: "And We sent on their footsteps", so here it means that Jesus was a messenger in a long line of messengers. "Their footsteps" refers to the prophets and messengers that preceded Jesus. So from among the Israelites. Jesus follows them. Jesus himself is a confirmation of certain prophecies of old. Those prophecies that were present in the scripture that was once revealed to Moses. So it says: "between his hands of the Taurat", meaning that Jesus had access to the book that had the revelations in it, that were given to Moses. But the verse is saying that Jesus was sent as a confirmation of something that was in the book. This is probably referring to the fact that he was the Messiah that the Jews had been expecting. He is the Messiah, and so he (himself) is the confirmation of what was in the book that they had with them. God is saying that Jesus was a true prophet for the Jews, because he confirms the Messianic prophecies. He now (2000 years ago) becomes the leader of the believers. What he says goes, because at their time, he was their prophet. "..and We gave him the Injeel" is now referring to revelation that was given specifically to Jesus at that time. This guided them, it contained wisdom, and it contained confirmations of the previous revelation (Taurat). This means that Jesus followed the revelation that was given to Moses, wherever the Injeel confirmed it. So Jesus would have referred those believers at his time back to the Laws of old, concerning judgments and disputes. It also implies that some things were being abrogated by the Injeel. This is valid, because Jesus is their current leader (2000 years ago), so when he says "do such and such", then it is either perfectly in line with the old Laws, OR it was a new law that God revealed to the believers (at that time) through the revelation that Jesus was receiving.
    5:47
And let judge (the) People (of) the Injeel by what has revealed Allah in it. And whoever (does) not judge by what has revealed Allah, then those [they] (are) the defiantly disobedient.
So that revelation that Jesus had (i.e. the Injeel), which had now become dominant over the Taurat in the sense that it guided the believers in terms of what applied to them (in terms of rulings; either confirming the Law of old, or any possible abrogations that were now in effect), that revelation should be used to judge between people. The Taurat is no longer dominant in the sense that Jesus has no authority. No, because Jesus is the current prophet (2000 years ago), his followers would now have to judge based on what he says. Most of it would be perfectly in line with the Taurat, but if Jesus abrogated something, then this abrogation would now have to be followed. "And whoever (does) not judge by what has revealed Allah..", is reminding all people at all times that whatever God reveals must be followed. So if a new prophet comes, then this new prophet might receive revelation that corrects man-made errors or any kind of deviation, and it confirms those parts that were true and still valid, and it might abrogate commandments. In any case, this new prophet has to be obeyed, because the prophets don't speak for themselves, but they speak in the name of God.
    5:48
And We revealed to you the Book in [the] truth, confirming what (was) before his hands of the Book and a guardian over it. So judge between them by what has revealed Allah and (do) not follow their vain desires when has come to you of the truth. For each We have made for you a law and a clear way. And if (had) willed Allah He (would have) made you a community, one, [and] but to test you in what He (has) given you, so race (to) the good. To Allah you will return, all, then He will inform you of what you were concerning it differing.
So notice here that first you have the Israelite prophets; Moses specifically, and the Taurat. This was followed throughout the centuries. In it, the coming of the Messiah was predicted. Jesus then arrives, who is the Messiah. His coming confirms the prophecies, and so Jesus should've become the main prophet for the Jews to follow. Jesus, being the Messiah, he is now given a new revelation. It either confirms the Laws of old, which are then still valid, and need to be adhered to, or this Injeel might abrogate laws. In either case; once Jesus comes, whatever is revealed to him MUST be followed. Then once again, some centuries pass, and yet another prophet comes. So now with the arrival of Muhammad, a final revelation is given to mankind; the Qur'an. It confirms whatever preceded it (Injeel and Taurat), or it abrogates things, AND it corrects whatever people concocted themselves and tried to pass off as revelation. So now, the Qur'an has become dominant, in the same sense that Jesus' Injeel was dominant for a while; meaning that since it's the most recent and relevant revelation, it is going to dictate to the believers what is true and correct, and what is being abrogated or rejected as falsity. God says that this is all according to His divine will: God willed these different communities through time to follow a set of similar rulings, but there were also abrogations. If God had willed them all to follow the exact same rulings, then He would've created it like that. Things differ slightly, and this is God's wisdom. There are no theological differences: pure monotheism always has been the heart of the message. So you cannot interpret this to mean that since Jesus dies on a cross in the Gospel of Luke, then this must be followed. Absolutely not. This approach is obviously erroneous. According to the Qur'an, Jesus was never executed by his enemies, so obviously, when the Qur'an says that the people of the Injeel used the Injeel to judge, then this would apply to moral and legal issues, and it does not mean that whatever some Luke wrote is to be taken as historical fact.
The guy in the video wants to read those verses in a way that they mean that the Christians have the unadulterated "gospel", but that's just wishful thinking, and misinterpreting the Qur'an. It's not what I read when I look at these Quranic verses. I would like to urge the young man to just read those verses out of the context of his Christian mindset, and without an argumentative attitude. He's looking for confirmation of his own biased interpretation, but he should just let the text speak for itself. Also, you can't just ignore Arabic language and scholarly commentaries. Hijab was right; these translations should really be viewed as sincere attempts to explain some of the meanings of the original text in English. Very briefly: pertaining to the idea that very early followers of Christ were actually extremely similar to Muslims; you can still find this in the New Testament, in the Epistle of James specifically. James the Just, being the most important authority in that early period, doesn't waste a single drop of ink on a crucifixion. He doesn't mention a resurrection, he doesn't speaks of a trinity, and salvation according to him comes through adhering to the Laws of Moses. Actually, in my opinion, the closest thing to an extant Injeel is found in that letter. Fragments are still visible, because James was closer to Jesus than Paul or any of the unknown authors of the "Gospels". He even tells his readers to be Muslims, "so that the devil might flee from you". Look at his letter, read it carefully. SLM!

If a Non-Muslim has to learn Arabic in order to be convinced of the Quran's authenticity then this is absurd.
He doesn't NEED to learn Arabic. He NEEDS Allah to open his heart. Insha'Allah that moment befalls him. The audacity he has to want to hear the English translation over the Arabic verses is common sense. The misunderstanding comes from requiring tafseer in order to explain the translation of what the words are TRYING to say. This effort in itself is nonsensical for the non-believer. In fact, most people in Islam are BORN into the faith and aren't of Arab descent anyway, especially young Muslim adults in the West who should have taken some sort of Islamic Theology, Philosophy, etc. in their schooling years so they were well informed and educated since their local mosques do not have any of those resources anyway.

Interpretations are made from the Quran, scholars have made many books, have lectures etc to try and explain the meaning to Muslim’s who don’t understand Arabic. The same way a Chinese person may not understand the English version of a Bible or Torah without a translation, does this mean the Bible and Torah are not “real” because there isn’t a version in Chinese?😂. I think there is a reason why many people want the Quran should only in arabic, because if it is in arabic and no translation then they can interprete it whatever they want even it is not true. However, when the Quran is translated into other language, then people can understand it and use logic to encounter the "wrong" interpretation of islamic scholar (using logic). If we watch carefully, Muhammad hijab actually doesn't have a firm position regarding the christian in Q.S. 5:46-5:47. First, he said it was talking about the bible at the time of prophet Isa. When the christian ask "if after prophet Isa the gospel was corrupted, then those people who hold the corrupted gospel at the time of prophet muhammad, then why Quran told those people to judge by their own book i.e. supposed to be "corrupted" according to muslims". Again, this "hole" in understanding is exposed if people non arab knows and understand the Quran (i.e. muhammad hijab doesn't disagree to the translation of Quran 5:46-5:48).

I’m not an expert. Two things that I can suggest in this situation. I maybe wrong, I’m still learning.
1, When he is being ignorant to the context and being referred to scholars interpreting the Quran. Probably tell him about general education and how every one is taught even as a kid when we were in school? You can’t expect everyone to learn everything without seeking help or an expert. It is Hadith as well but probably a Christian wouldn’t bother about it.
2, It is important for us Muslims to believe in all the books sent to us through different prophets and messengers. Providing that it is not corrupted, which unfortunately most of them are except for Quran?
    Allah knows the best!

This verse is speaking about secular law vs 'what Allah has revealed'. its speaking about the principle of people ignoring God's law and making their own man made law. Hence the previous verse is explaining how the injil confirmed the torah, and now the quran confirms the accuracies of the injil.
Moreover, there is a transition that takes place in this surah (remember this surah contains some of the final verses to be revealed) from when the Prophet initially came to madinah and the islamic state was not established, in this time frame the people of the book were allowed to follow their own book's law but after state was established Allah said now you (muhammad SAW) judge them by Allah's law--
5:49 And judge, [O Muhammad], between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations and beware of them, lest they tempt you away from some of what Allah has revealed to you. And if they turn away - then know that Allah only intends to afflict them with some of their [own] sins. And indeed, many among the people are defiantly disobedient.
there is no confusion if you actually read the whole surah with its context of when it was revealed.

Absolutely dislike all of the people who are commenting here stating that the person who is trying to debate is (enter words of degradation). My sincerest request to ALL the Muslims who are listening to this exchange - understand what the context of this conversation was about = "Follow what was given to you (oh People of the book, in regards to the Injeel)".
As a Muslim, are you allowed, in any shape/form to say bad things regarding another person? Calling them names? Making fun? No. We KNOW this. That's the law of Allah that we (truly try to follow). But the moment we see someone doing something wrong - we immediately jump on them.
What is the value of you calling someone out when (1) You don't know what was going on in their heart (2) Your deen commands you to have the highest of moral standards in regards to debates (3) Sincere "Dua" is not meant to be used as "I pity you, therefore here is a dua for your guidance." (4) WE don't know if we are any better than the person.
So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. If you have come to learn ANYTHING from this video - let it be "Return evil with good." - "Bare patience when dealing with the impatient"

You did not describe Christianity. Christianity is far from easy. Jesus commands us to carry our cross daily (figuratively obviously) and commands all men everywhere to repent and sin no more. The Bible states that anyone who continues in habitual sin does not know God and is therefore not a Christian. What you are describing is a Christian heresy known as anti-nomianism, which Paul rejects in Romans. He asks, "should we sin so grace is increased? Certainly not!" I watched this video. While MH may have better body language, he does not really answer this man's question, but instead jumps through a ton of hoops. We have copies of the Torah and the Gospels and Psalms that predate Islam. When we they corrupted, and why does the Quaran seem to endorse these books rather than condemn them? Surely if there was even one percent error in one of them, they would have to be condemned. But these so-called "corrupted books" were the ones that existed during the beginning of Islam, yet it does not seem that they are condemned anywhere, only their followers are.
Also, the Ebionites are an irrelevant example. They existed but were denounced as heretics by the early church. They did not believe in Jesus' deity, but were certainly not Muslims, as they did not believe in the virgin birth and believed in the Jewish Law. To suggest that they were somehow closer to People of the Book is silly, as they were not Muslims or Christians.
