The thing is, you don‘t have dark circles or imperfections. Your complexion is that of an Italian porcelain cherub. Flawless. You don‘t need concealer.
Yeah, I agree! It would’ve been nice to see someone with real dark circles try this product out.
I think she looks better with concealor and this product performs Very Well.
OMG! 5 ml equals 1 teaspoon, so that concealer is 1 ml over a teaspoon! That is so expensive! I don't think I could pay that much money for a product. Thankfully, I can live vicariously through you. Thank you for testing these beautiful products. I love your channel.
Too many boxes - extra unnecessary packaging
Sandra J I totally agree, some of these luxury brands are just tone deaf! People don’t want all of this now, not if they’ve got any thought for the future anyway.

MACARIA82 yes I agree, some of these brands are getting very greedy. They seem to think that even if you can afford it you’ll buy it but there’s a limit to how much I can justify spending on make up. I like the skin care aspects in make up now but it’s all getting too costly

Tallis In Wonderland - I feel this way about a number of luxury items lately - clothing, handbags, makeup. Even though we may have the money to spend, there is a limit when we know we’re being had and won’t put our hands in our pockets. It’s becoming ridiculous.

Yes, La Prairie caviar concealer is fabulous for mature skin and I also use in conjunction with other concealers for coverage, so addictive and expensive. Love your review!
Figuring out which shade to buy is difficult. No swatches anywhere.

Ah the start of this video is gold! Thank you for the demo, especially the comparison with the Dior.
I tend to prioritize skincare over makeup, so I considered buying this, however if I'm going to wear makeup for my panda undereyes, I do want coverage. Even the Dior one fades on me after 4 hours, thanks to my extra oily eyesockets. I have yet to get the PMG undereye setting powder, to hopefully prolong it's wear because my current powders just cake it up.

Hi I am still looking for the perfect eye care products. I get puffy eyes and I have blue under eye circles
Small eye bags .are also now a problem plus a few outer wrinkles ..I am 66.
The eye cream and serum that you find phenomenal .. Do you think they would be suitable for my eye area issues ?

Which shade do you have?
Sounded so intriguing! Love the idea of a tinted eye cream type of concealer. But when I followed the link I saw they only have shades for the very, very lightest skin tones. :-/
Great review Michele. I am intrigued by their powder but have some I need to use first. This review really shows the difference powdering can make. I can end up looking so cakey.
Just a warning - their powder is extremely fragranced. I love the way it looks on the skin if you want some additional coverage but I barely use it because of it.

When you are my age you don’t draw little brown spots aka freckles on your face. There are already brown spots that need to be concealed😂

Your skin always looks gorgeous but lately it has been looking airbrushed! Beautiful complexion and texture. Is it the Retrouvé you have been using?! Would love to hear your thoughts on it and/or a skincare routine💜
I've purchased and started using this concealer, im 51 and can honestly say, it makes my eyes look brighter and younger. Im medium fair, blonde hair and shade 2 was OK. The packaging is excessive, however im using the large white box its come in as a storage box for my socks!
La Prairie is expensive but worth it - the feel of it on the skin is amazing. This product is also an eye treatment!

I thought the concealer did brighten up under your eyes, but I didn’t see the issue in camera with the powder. You look beautiful with or without!! Love ya. ♥️
That was a hella unboxing. I'm intrigued since I can never find a concealer that doesn't make me look older. Would be curious to see the concealer with the La Prarie loose powder.

I just ordered the new Gucci face powder from the gucci US website and they also have free overnight shipping! Plus it comes in a gucci shopping bag, a gucci envelope, and card with ur receipt. Loved it, the only thing I didn't like was the shade pics i couldn't tell which shade would work for me. I'm a true light to light/medium neutral and I bought shade 01 and it's really bright but kinda works. I was scared to pick shade 2 or 3 bc 2 looked pinky and 3 looked kinda dark tan looking. I might get another shade when comes to sephora maybe lol. These ultra fancy brands r so luxe when ordering from them!
Thanks for making the distinction. I don't know where we got on the train that all concealers should do all jobs. This looks like a great under eye concealer and I wouldn't expect it to do the same job as a facial or highlighting concealer.

How does it compare to the tatcha pearl tinted illuminated eye treatment? Seems like they sound similar in coverage, and consistency. Do you still like the tatcha one? Also, I can’t help but think that if they cut down to one box, got rid of useless brush and sent the item in a normal shipping box, they could pass down some serious savings in the cost! Which would be nice especially at this price point lol

La Prairie is very, very expensive. 💸I a use serum celullar radiance concentrate pure gold 30 ml and new skin caviar lift regard 20 ml. Price is 850.-- and
580.-- swiss francs. Products last 6 months and I am happy with.
Do they list the ingredients on the packaging? I cannot find anything on their websites.

such an insane product, it actually looked great when you first laid them on, but perhaps the right eye had too much and the left eye had too little to begin with, which may be the cause of the creasing issue...? the « above & below the tear duct » is actually exactly how i wear concealer too, just vertically at the inner eye which is the recess that causes darkness, and i tap & sweep the excess under my eye towards the outer corner. nothing goes on the lid : at times when i feel like it i will wear a dedicated eyeshadow base or primer. i really hope you’re able to make the la prairie work for you !!! 💗
I’m sure there is a luxurious way they could package that concealer with less waste. Like a paper/cardboard jewel or lux pen box.

It is so sheer that unfortunately it would not work for my very dark under eye dark circles, even if I use color corrector under, which it will defeat the purpose of it’s skincare properties. I was excited but I would have to pass. Thank you for the lovely demo Michele!

This concealer sounds like it is for people with no dark circles under the eyes, it wouldn’t do much for me unfortunately. I will carry on using my Madara concealer which is clean and a high medium coverage

I didn’t know this brand was still around! I bought skincare products back in 2011 in Malaysia! I did enjoy them though. I didn’t know where else to buy it after I finished them.
I really wanted to hate this so I wouldn’t convince myself I needed this.....but oh lawd, I’m having a REALLY hard time not loving this 😤 Absolutely beautiful “lay down” and looked so incredibly natural. I noticed it didn’t crease on the upper lid either. Very impressive and is EXACTLY what I’m wanting out of a concealer 😍
Now, onto how I can justify this expense to the hubby 🤔😜
This concealer looks beautiful - but, 6 ml's? I don't know, that just seems outrageously expensive. I know La Prairie is very expensive, and I would love to try it because it does look amazing, maybe I'll wait for a sale, sometimes La Prairie is included. Someone else reviewed it and preferred the un-powdered eye as well (I think it was Mel, but I'm not sure). Thank you for reviewing the concealer, it really looks beautiful on you! The shade range is very limited. There are 5 shades and i think 3 would work best for me.

I think I’d get 3. The 2 would prob still be fairly brightening on my complexion in the colder months.

I actually found it extremely beautiful on eyelids as well. It really did a great job of smoothing The Eye area. It’s a beautiful concealer. Damn!!! It’s expensive..I really wanted you to dislike it.

That box is gorgeous, but it is massive! A big box to deliver another oversized box, and then ANOTHER box...and wait! One more BOX! Lol I bet the big box came in a shipping box too!

2 was too light for me, which is strange.... and the attached brush was not working properly and kept coming out, la prairie was happy to change it

Forgive my ignorance, but what does "caviar" mean in makeup and skin care? Does it actually contain some kind of fish egg essence? That would make it not Vegan, right? Or does it mean something else?
La Prairie Skin Caviar line is based on a fish egg extract. Not vegan !

Super interesting! Do you think la prairie would do refills in the future? I could see paying that price once since concealer is a major part of my makeup and I don’t really do foundation, but it just seems wasteful to get the whole pen every time
Stupid, problematic, extremely wasteful packaging. It makes me mad.
All LaPrairie packages are more than a little over the top...and don't know why they find the need to include a brush with their products. I never use them....I want the concealer but not sure if it will tackle my dark under eye circles....🤔. Stay safe and enjoy the weekend 😘😘

Oh Michele, as much as I enjoy your reviews, including this one, I can’t help but reminded of a British sketch show by Harry Enfield who did several skits where he owned an antique store called ‘I saw you coming’. His store was full of junk that he sold for thousands of pounds to ladies who appeared to have more money than sense. 6mls of eye concealer for $180 fits into that category for me so I think I will pass.
They should offer small discount to your audience.
