Thanks for sharing. It inspires me to maybe foil more on my own great lake (Huron). I just don't have the gear for winter riding. What are you wearing to keep warm? I just started wingfoiling last year, so I'm still learning about everything.

I’m wearing Patagonia R5 wetsuit (6/5mm) with Solite 5mm boots and Waterproof G1 5mm gloves. Jacket has no thermal value and is for fashion only. You need to wear a harness so you can rest your hands. Winter riding is a great time!

    Little less wind this day?

In in QC and thinking of buying this board, would you recommend for light wind (8-12 knots) and somewhat beginner?
I currently started on Cabrinha Code 98L with 1600cm2 foil and 6m wing. I weigh 94kg. I’m having a hard time gaining speed and getting on foil in my low wind we have on small lakes in my area

I would recommend the 7’7” 110L for you. It will get you up and foiling in the lightest conditions.

Thank you for your comments! Do you think I can keep my mid aspect 1600cm cabrinha foil for now or should also switch to high aspect 1500-2000cm?

I would keep it for now until you feel like you need more performance.
