2:42 that actually makes sense to me. This game is very cinematic and story driven, so the fact that you can't skip cutscenes on your first playthrough makes sense to me, and for the people that play again they already saw the cut scenes so having the option to skip cut scenes in new game plus makes sense to me.

@luckynumchris i dont really see it as forcing you to watch it, as a very story driven cinematic experience i feel like it's kind of expected and most people that are interested in these kinda games aren't gonna want to skip cut scenes anyway on their first playthrough, but thats just my take on that.
