It's an awesome spot that one. Where that browny was just above it on the opposite bank I have done well out of before too. PS. Please edit your comment to remove the stream name reference if you are happy to. Thanks
Just high sticking close to me hook 3 fish landed 1 very happy with this fly fishing alot different from spin fishing more fun way better way to catch trout
That's were I caught my first rainbow last Friday on the same spot on a fly rod euro nymphing on my 3)4 weight 7 ft rod first time ever I've just started went from spin to fly rod
That's great to hear. The mount is DIY. PVC pipe with a gopro ball head cable tied on top and painted black then strapped to my backpack at a slight backward angle. The Gopro has a charging door and I have a powerbank in the backpack then I just use voice commands to operate the camera
It does differ from all the other forms of fly fishing in that you don't require a fly line to cast the flies and the only way fly fishing differs from most other fishing methods is that it uses the weight of the fly line to cast the flies. The reason some consider euro nymphing as "spin fishing" is because you use the weight of the flies to cast, just like you use the weight of the lure to cast when spin fishing. I euro nymph a fair bit and enjoy it a lot. It is very effective. As I say in the video I just don't suggest beginners start with euro nymphing as they won't learn to cast a fly line which will limit them to euro nymphing while there is much more to fly fishing. Tight lines and thanks for watching.
Haha I'm leaning toward agreeing only because of the lack of fly fishing but I do still find it similar enough in most ways so I'm on the fence with that one but I do prefer casting a fly line, maybe cause I suck at euro ;)
Another great day on this stream today 5 fish to the net loving this fly fishing all from the same pools didn't even go over the road today lovely

How are you finding the transition? Enjoying the fly fishing? The tangles and hooking bushes can be a bit frustrating at first but it becomes less.
Nice to watch even for an old campaigner. What is the camera mount you have on your pack?

Great to see another of your videos! I love them. How are the Aquaz waders holding up?
They are still going, my wife is using them now albeit with a few patches.
@@CrazyAboutFlyFishing Thanks for the update!
Plus it's a nice change from catching 3/4 lb browns in my local plenty browns no bows that's why this streams good plenty bows and the odd brown lols
How did you go?
Any word on yhe net? Was it ever found?
Yes thankfully it was next to where I had set up my main camera
Euro is fly fishing as your whole entire rig is flies hence the fly fishing. ant called spin or dead bait fishing 😅 make you wonder these days 😢😊
