+WinTake Nope, Heroes IV sold pretty well. NWC had problems before H4, you can see that they wanted money quick just to dont get bancrupt (Heroes chronicles, which are just new campaigns, nice campaigns, but still), and Might&Magic IX which costed really great amount of money sold poorly, well mostly because it's compared to Might&Magic VI-VIII really bad game.
ahh heroes 2 and heroes 3 are awesome. The gameplay was awesome, the pictures, despite being cartoonish just fitted the best, and the music of Heroes 2 was mesmorising.
Been playing for only a few months and I love HOMM2 :) my favourite secondary skills are Diplomacy, Wisdom, Logistics, Pathfinding (assumingly I always play rough terrain), Leadership, Luck, Archery, and Ballistics. For me, Scouting is the worst skill and I will avoid it for as long as I can. My best troops are Dragons, Titans, Magi, Halflings, and Druids. Worst are the slow melees, they are so pathetic it’s sad to see them trying to kill anything :)) Best spell is undoubtedly Town Portals but I think you can never get it yourself; it’s given by the mapmaker.
This series of games seems to be very popular in eastern Europe countries and Russia. Especially Poland. I see it also in my videos´s statistics. Very bad use of your available spells in this first battle...
hehe, Heroes 2 and Drowning pool :) Well if I got your question right (it looks like you use spoken finnish, which is often difficult to understand for me :) ), the answer is, that you have to record the video in high quality to have the button available. If I remember I used the recording funciton of DosBox for this one...

Its not a balance flaw its just a design thing .If you are playng whit a human (castle) you need to rush your paladins and take some other strong towns for late game .As for the flying units - it kinds of make sence if they fly they are the fastes and most manuverable on the battlefield .
Not true, the speed of the animations are adjustable just like they are in Heroes 3. This guy simply set them to highest. Also the music is midi (meaning the guy is not using a sound-card for the game), the actual music of Heroes 2 is quite good (though heroes 3 has better music, agreed).

If you choose good (humans, fairies or wizards), you fight evil (necromancers, barbarians and warlocks) and vice-versa if you pick evil, you fight the good. Each route had different maps including the final map. Technically you want to play and beat both campaigns and they're not too long either.
And when trying to match them up perfectly in battle, no realistic case goes "okay your 1st tier vs. mine, that's the only way to have this battle." If you think the knights are balanced, you're immensely skewed in your perception they have no advantage besides the extra one person per tier each week the barbarians also get. This is such a miniscule benefit that cannot compensate for a lack of stacks, and any other skill like conserving troops or rushing, is applied to other classes as well.

Some gamer you are ... im sayng that thanks to the fact their units are cheap you can get paladins first or secound week (depending on the map and dificulity) and rush to your enemies while they still have low tier units and whit fewer numbers (lest say mummies fighting aganst paladins).And the secound worce archers in the game (we are talking about tier 2 ) are the orcs not the casles rangers whitch upgrated are preaty good since they shoot twice and are cheap.Upg swordmans are good to .
You could have very easily won the first fight. What possessed you to use low dmg spells in a battle with high army numbers ? Bless, Steel Skin and a few other spells deal A LOT of dmg, or absorb it.

The only complaints I had with this game, were it's uneven classes, and the fact that any flying creature could move anywhere on the map in 1 turn. Other than that, it's not my favorite, but the one that has the highest nostalgia rating for me, and the last one that more like a classic game since number 3, though better overall, didn't have that fairytale look to it. But I will still love playing the knights against the other classes on hard mode to give myself a challenge.

I was watching the video and then automatically right-clicked Roland to see his stats. When the options 'Copy video URL etc' popped out instead I realised what I was doing :D.
Is it possible to play homm2 online against a friend? I know DOSBox has some kind of old protocol emulation but haven't tried it. I keep trying to convince him to play HOMM3 but he refuses to let go of HOMM2 :)

Yes, the fourth was bad, but not as bad as 5th and 6th. I would really love to see a remake of the third with better graphics. Heroes 2 was released for smartphones but the UI did suck, buttons too small to press etc.
What a shame for you first hero. You should have cast mass haste and bless in the first place... Try to figure out how many damages 120 crusaders can inflict to the titans with 20 damages each...

+Ahmet Bayirli No but they were close, roughly put there is a true distinction between might and magic in 3 whereas in 2 the character skills were pretty much a preselection of an optimal path. 3 had a wider variety and each hero had specialisations.
Best Heroes game, I hope someone upgrade it onto android. Someone did the android version, but it was terrible port. Graphic stylistic of H2 is so cool
I must say sir, you are brainless. Why, for the sake of those guys who invented "Disrupting ray" do you spam that fcking lightning? To kill 1 titan every round? 5 Disrupting rays, and those 124 crusaders would have killed 10+ more titans with a single hit.........
i swear that first battle against archibald was horrible,...with right spell usage and minion movement there would be almost next to none damage for the entire group of yours.

I was VERY dissapointed that 16 cyclopses can not kill a sinlge titan and die instantly....:P
mark hoogerwaard yeah Cyclopes are useless. The barbarian is the strongest in early game but the weakest at end game in my opinion.
