Chevelle just has the best groovy/heavy riffs and pop like metal choruses. Plus great drumming, big fat bass sound and Petes voice and songwriting. Highly underrated band.. so many great songs from my Chicago brethren. Lol.

Excellent! Looking for a prs to learn more Chevelle songs on. My current electric can’t handle drop tunings too well. What do you suggest that will handle the low tunings?
If you can get a guitar that has a 27 inch or longer scale from the nut to the bridge, then the stability and intonation will be great for low drop tuned songs. I currently have my PRS 277 in Drop A and it's a beast. Just make sure to buy heavy strings to keep the tension just right. For drop A#/Bb I'd grab a set of strings around 12-65

Settings as far as gain, bass, mid, treble, etc. He has such a distinct tone that I haven’t been able to figure out. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
