I used to eat Lobster omelets at Captain Bob's in North Bimini. I knew bob when he was alive and I met his wife once. Bob was a local fisherman and I used to see Guy Harvey's artwork at the Orginal angler before it burned down. Your video reminds me of all the years I did Lobster Miami Season in Key West on my buddy's boat. My buddy really knew Key West lobster spots because he was in the Navy in Key West for years. I hope to do Lobster Mini Season if I can get a dive buddy to go with me and my boat is working that week.
It sounds like you have a lot of experience is a Bimini that's awesome and yes once you know the spots where to get lobsters you can get lobsters a lot faster
Out On The Reef I am pretty effective at harvesting lobsters, but never did lobster harvesting in the Bahamas yet. I’m old now so you’re living my dream. Stay safe.
Hi Captain. Bahamas are doing an excellent job with COV. If affected they contact trace everyone within 3 degrees of separation, and quarantine every one of them. That's how you do it! In Ft. Lauderdale they have National Guard out. There's a big quarantine FEMA trailer center that popped up at Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport. No contact tracing. They're just letting it spread to achieve Herd Immunity as quick as possible. Crazy. You're in the safety zone. Stay there 😂.
I agree with you Captain here they don't do as much as possible to control it but other countries are trying to do better I think we're behind and it's going to get bad for us

I may have missed it in the video but what were those seas that day I'm kind of curious to get an idea of what it was like? I think if I had to guess I would say about 2-3 ft at about about four seconds. It is tough to tell and picture or videos.
Another question but more of a tip: After watching many of your vids so, far I see you always use a towel on your makeshift kitchen table . . . but you never spill anything on it (amazing)! Except for that bottle of beer that went over in one vid. Why not swap the towel for a plastic table cloth folded in that same rectangular shape as the towel? Easy to clean, can't stain and would keep a beer bottle or coffee cup steadier in a rolling sea. Next decent sized order I do from Amazon, the day before I will click on one of your links first as a thank you for your interesting vids.

No worries Tony soon they'll have to open them back so my recommendation to you is do some maintenance on your boat rotate the tires on the trailer change the oil do all those things that you usually don't have a lot of time so that way your boat is ready for the summer
@@OutOnTheReef Yessir, this weekend im removing the prop to make sure no fishing line got in there and im replacing the brackets that hold the bunks to the trailer.
Bro happy quarantine! I have a question, do you keep running your fridge , your AC and your ice maker 24H? Everything runs with the generator? I have a project boat and I would like to know
I don't run the generator all the time I usually run the generator from 6 p.m. all the way to 9 in the morning and in that time all the batteries are recharged and I don't need to run it again and the fridge batteries can run for 3 days without being recharged but what I do is I recharge them everyday so they're fully charged to the top but if I need to run the generator all day that is no problem I can still do that too. I hope you have a good success with your project Captain if I can help in any way please let me know
Thank you Captain the generator dust 8 to 10 hours per gallon of fuel 1.2 gallons to be exact depends also on the loan on a medium load you can do close to 8 hours
I can never depend on solar because I have an ice machine refrigerator Chargers and a lot of the things running and solar will never replace the batteries on time

Need hot sauce. Great job captain. Spending my time on the lake away from everyone also. Take care !! Bacon egg and lobster wrap sounds pretty good also.
Thank you Rodney and it sounds like you having a good quarantine yourself captain and yes Lobster bacon that's a good recipe thank you for letting me know forgot about that navigate safe captain
You can't get seafood much fresher than that. That probably was a $20.00 burrito if you bought it at a restaurant in the states. YUM.
yes a lobster tail on a burrito that is breakfasts and yes more then $20
How do you have your generator hooked up?
very easy ,look at my channel wen i first purchased the boat and i have step by step how i did the rigging on the generator, hope it help cap.
Man ... needed this brain break capt ... 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾... keep up the good work ...
im glad cap. thanks for watching
You got lucky capt. Ramps are closed down here in Miami, i wish i could go out anywhere.

How much gas does your generator burn? Great place to self quarantine. Thanks for the vid.
Thank you Captain the generator dust 8 to 10 hours per gallon of fuel 1.2 gallons to be exact depends also on the loan on a medium load you can do close to 8 hours
Out On The Reef thanks
Great video as usual, waiting for your deep dropping video.
I will make that video next you'll get it soon Captain thank you for watching
Great video as always will you ever use solar with all that sunlight
I can never depend on solar because I have an ice machine refrigerator Chargers and a lot of the things running and solar will never replace the batteries on time
Why did you choose a Raymarine autopilot over a Garmin autopilot when you have a Garmin chartplotter?
Garmin price was very high
And raymarine was easier to install
Always enjoy watching your videos. I like how you show the process of living at sea. Would you consider dedicating a small portion of your next video to demonstrating how you anchor for the night so that you feel safe from drifting? Be safe out there Captain...Regards, Folly Beach, SC
yes in other videos i show how i use a anchor alarm that i have in my garmin gps if it moves from the area i chose a alarm will wake me up
Hey Skipper 👍 awesome vids bro! How many grill sessions do you get outta one bottle. Approx! Thanks man great work. We're meeting up in Nov when I get down there for a fishing trip. I've got plenty of room on board👍

@@OutOnTheReef 45' I'm gonna be refilling those bottles. Gonna carry 8 bottles and a 20lb tank with an adapter to refill the 1lb bottles! Lol
@@livingonmytime1076 I think that will last you almost 2 months cooking twice a day
@@livingonmytime1076 that's a good-sized boat captain
I live way up in maine. My cooking is so very similar. I laughed. Not many like what I cook . LoL
LOL and yes most of the time I burn my food I'm not the best chef I'm glad you have the same experience LOL
Captain..! want to see how the radar work on night plz..
#sorry for my poor English..
That's a good idea I was trying to see if it's any objects at night time so I can show you
And no worries your English is perfect
Put a sea keeper in that thing. It creates less movement
I would love to but there is no room for it there's no storage on the floor that I can put the seakeeper
