for 550 w/o tax isnt it much easier for you to just get a used supraphonic? good snare tho! glad to see mapex bringin new snare series to compete with the big brands🎉
Controversial take here, but as some one who as owned both (different model black panther but still) the Mapex is just built way better and is a much more durable instrument. I tried to love Ludwig snares for a really long but after having to replace so many components over the years I just got sick of them. The black panther stuff has some of the highest quality components I’ve ever seen on drums in the price bracket.
