That makes the second bottle for me in the last 4 decades. On the hunt for the Escada EDT, a couple of hours ago I declined the acquisition of the EDP. The EDT is much better.
I'm so envious! I haven't been able to find bottles of Macassar, Nino CerrutI PH, Escada PH that won't require taking out an extra line of credit (big no no!). Sigh. I do have samples though, which will make me happy for the time being. Always a pleasure watching your videos, my friend!

I'm fortunate enough to start collecting 15yrs ago and have all these in my own collection (inc backups)... and before prices went crazy, ha... Some notable mentions are: Escada Magnetism, Gucci Nobile, Boss Spirit, Balenciaga pour homme, Alain Delon iquitos, Pavarotti for him, Guerlain l'instant Homme Extreme (of course Patou)... so many fabulous fragrances back then, but all becoming scarce as people realise these can't even be replicated by houses today because of stricter IFRA regulations and scarcity of some raw materials.... my pick for a future revered classic is Dior Homme Parfum, especially the 75ml original formulation and imo it's a modern masterpiece and up there with Derby and Patou Prive, and yet it's been overlooked, well that is until now it's been discontinued and prices are rocketing!

I have a haul coming with a partial of Cerruti ph which wasn't easy to find. I'm also looking at a flanker of it called Fair Play released in 1985... Are you familiar? Great features as it's seeming the usual on your channel ✌🏻
The hair oil historically contained oils distilled from the ebony tree; hence how it obtained its name. There are a bunch of fragrances and parfums d'ambience named Macassar in circulation which use the same name. 👌
Euge, file!👏 Astonishingly, these small serendipitous finds continue to pop up when people find cachets left languishing on dusty old pharmacy and perfumery shelves the world over! Ca. 2008 I remember seeing bunches of the 40ml bottles on sale for €15 a piece in a Belgrade perfumery. I still kick myself I didnt buy more than 1 on the day (instead I loaded up on tons of Rochas Lui, which were in the same discount bin). Good times!
I had Macassar in the late 80s. Wonderful. I recently bought 5ml on eBay. It's still special, unique
