ADVERTISING
As content creation is our business and how we earn our living you will see advertising in our content from time to time in different forms:
We are very selective about what brands we work with on paid/sponsored content creation and as a rule we don't work with any brand that we don't already or wouldn't spend our own money on. We are incredibly proud of all our brand partnership content and it will always be disclaimed in the most transparent way possible so you know exactly what is with 'AD' on screen and in the description box. If the entire video is an 'AD' this will be in the title of the video.
Because we don't work with a large amount of brands on sponsored content we do rely on our RUclips ad revenue. Any adverts you watch in full during the duration of our videos will earn us a small percentage of 'ad revenue' from RUclips.
We also use 'Affiliate Links' in the description boxes below our videos and if you make a purchase via these links we will earn a small percentage of commission depending on the sale amount. Not all links are affiliate links but just assume they are.
Any items/links marked with '[AD - Pr products]' are products which have been 'gifted' from the respective brands without a contract for sponsored content. This is still classed as a form of advertising because nothing is ever "free", brands are gaining exposure to our audience by us featuring them, so these items are marked as 'AD-Pr product' in the description box but we are under no obligation to feature these items. And as with our paid content, we never accept gifting/pr products from brands that we don't already or wouldn't spend our money on.
Size Reference: I am a UK size 10, waist 28, 34B bust and I'm 5'9 with a 34" inseam.
TIP: Cos items sell out quickly as they have limited stock but they are generally good at restocking so use the stock alert function and you can get a text and/or email when your size comes back inn stock.

Great video!! I own a few COS jeans so let me share my experience.
I’m 48 years old. I typically wear a size 30w in most jeans which equates to a size 40eu. I’m also 5’ 7 in height
Arch jeans size 30w - I recommend sizing up in these. They will make you feel uncomfortable in your private area when sitting down. I had to sell mine cause they felt uncomfortable for sure! I tried on the 31 and although I don’t own it, it was loads more comfortable!
Bay barrel size 30w - recently got these. Much better fit than the arch jeans in terms of staying true to size and fit. I got these darker washed out black. Very flattering and the denim does feel soft and comfortable
Column jeans size 30w - I have them in white. They similar to levais 501. Very flattering and timeless looking. I find them comfortable to wear and sitting as well!
Tide jeans size 30w - nice comfortable style but very casual. Not a style I would keep going back to.
I have more that were not mentioned in this video so I’ll keep my thought for another video ❤
OMG I just got back from Bali! I hope I see you at *suluxy* there. Love from Indonesia
Hi Emma. Jeans are perhaps the most difficult fashion item to get right. They are often not the most flattering garment in general and I honestly think it takes trial and effort to find the style or brand that suits each individual. Luckily, there are thousands of them available as jeans are a staple in most people’s wardrobe. Your in depth videos regarding certain stores such as the M&S one you did last year with their range are always so honest, informative and useful so many thanks.❤️
I couldn’t agree more! Thank you 😘
I just wanted to thank you for your content. I really love your videos and how well you put them together and explain everything. Greetings from Tuscany!
Thank you 💘
Your jeans try ons are invaluable saves so much time and trouble for me. I dont think I would buy COS jeans personally due to the price point but it is interesting to see the different styles. I usually stick to M&S jeans and bought a carrot pair I love them. Any more jeans you want to share would be gratefuly watched. Thanks
I definitely want to do a Pull & Bear denim review because that denim is seriously underrated 🙌🏼
Awesome video!! Thank you for sharing your review!! I really appreciate the zoomed out reviews especially for bottoms. As a lady in my 40s, I agree with you about the 90s rise, they were so great. I'm glad to see the looks are coming back... Thank you for sharing!!
Hey Emma - that was so useful!!!! Thanks so much ❤ xxxx
Thank you for watching ❤️
I never minded paying extra for good fitting and attractive jeans. Good vid! 😊
I've got the COS arch tapered leg jeans and love them. In my view they look the best in the dark denim / indigo colour as opposed to any of the lighter colours.
I’ve really been loving Levi’s, Pistola, and Banana Republic jeans lately. All 100% cotton. All midrise.
Never heard of Pistola so that’s a new one for me 😊
Thank you for this video, came just at the right time for me, as yesterday evening I was contemplating about ordering a pair of cos jeans. I always have a issue with length, but you and me are about the same hight so this helped a lot!
I've got the tide jeans in a brownish colour and I love it! For me it's long enough (I'm 170cm tall) and super comfortable. Tried the blue version as well, but it felt like a totally different pair of jeans: not as flattering and relaxed as the brown ones
Thank you, Emma! Such a useful and helpful review. I knew you'd hate the turn ups! 😂❤
I hate them, too🙂
Amazing breakdown of each piece! I never really thought much about jeans having so many different cuts--decisions, decisions!🧡
I have been looking at COS denim. Your try-on is much appreciated because we are similar heights. The facade turn-ups were hilarious. 😆
Mate, wtf was going on with those jeans?! 😆 Also they absolutely stunk, Simon cut it out (to keep it more concise) but I said they smelled like urine 🥴
Thanks for this video, Emma. Happy Sunday !
This is such a helpful video, thank you Emma! I've been eyeing Cos denim for a long time, and your review gave so many useful insights ❤
Emma thanks for your suggestions so many great choices! 😊
Great video Emma! I really hope they make the barrel leg ones in cream/white for spring 🤞
Also the post-wash lunges and squats 😂 spot on!
Love your videos ❤️ I’ve got 2 pairs of Cos Arch jean , one in off white and one in dark blue and I’m so pleased i bought them but I’m only 5’3” so a perfect length for me. Thanks for all the effort you put into videos it’s really appreciated
Thank you for watching 🫶🏼
I am 5'3" too and I thought Arch were too long. I tried cuffing them but didn't enjoy the look. Didn't buy in the end. I am size 30 and not very tall and I noticed that COS jeans don't look as flattering on me as they did when I was size 27/28 which is a great shame as I loved them to bits. Mind you they used to cost only £60 or £65 a few years back!
I know what you mean. I’m a 28 which is by no means large but I think some things are just designed for tiny bodies 🙈
Great video Emma😍The best fitting jeans on you were the FACADE straight leg jeans in the light gry color 🤩Looked amazing on you 👏👏❤️❤️
I love the facade jeans! The video wasn’t about what looks best on me but I definitely found them the most comfortable 🙌🏼
Great video as I'm slowly repurchasing alot of jeans from Cos and love their ARCH (tapered) and SHIFT (straight) styles. I'm a size 12, 5"7 and typically wear high/mid rise jeans, normally am between 29 and 31 waist, so would recommend definitely trying on all the styles so you know your size. Agree that some jeans fit and feel different depending on the wash/colour so again worth trying on to check! I agree about your point about the ARCH jeans, sometimes they're not very comfortable in the crotch and I don't whether it's because the rise is not long enough, but found sizing help helps! i have bought Cos jeans for 8 years and love them for their stiffness to retain shape, 100% cotton and no elastane
Thanks another great video❤❤❤
I've been pretty allergic to the look of barrel leg jeans until I watched this video. Those Bay jeans look amazing on you and I think I'll give them a try. The "barrel" shape is very subtle. Thanks for the great video!
I think different brands might be doing barrel in different variations. These ones are quite subtle but I’ve seen some that look crazy 🤪🙊
Emma, thank you so much for this video! We wear the same size, so this video is especially helpful for me:) I'm in need of a good pair of jeans. I really like the facade and column styles on you. So I wanna try those on me
The Facades are so comfortable 🙌🏼
Emma, your hair looks fantastic! 🙂
Thank you x
Thank you Emma, I’m a column girl and have 4 pairs along with several pairs of Levi 501’s.
Did you size up a size to get a comfier fit? The issue I have is that I run so I have more muscular thighs which make the jeans tighter in that area but they fit fine on the waist 🙃
@ I get size 28, I’m in between a uk size 8 and 10 so yes I get my bigger size, I have a large bum!.
I think I may try a 29 then 🙌🏼
This was really useful, thanks Emma (as was your M&S jeans one). I recently bought some Levi's 501s and I love them, so comfortable but should have got in size 29 (instead of 30) as a teeny bit baggy. Have never considered Cos jeans, but you said the denim is similar to Levis denim and I can vouch too that Levi's are very comfortable so will have a look at Cos. Their barrel one didn't look too bandy legged!
Hi Emma. Thanks for the video. I look forward to them every Sunday. Levi’s video would be great. Looking forward to new pair of jeans at the moment. ❤
Tbh I only ever buy 501’s and they’re usually vintage so it wouldn’t be a very long video 🤣🙈
Those turn-up jeans were hilarious. They looked quite 1950s, which is usually an era i like. I don’t why they looked so wrong, maybe the massive turn-ups. I liked the pale grey jeans, but I have some nice M&S ones that are similar in shape.
Another great try on video, thank you :) (I really like the barrel jeans on you, personally I think they look cool in spring or summer with a pair of sandals or Birks).
I burst out laughing at Facade cuffed jeans. Yes, a very hard NO! Kidding aside, I can never find jeans that I am truly comfortable in. I do love the wide leg, flattering and so comfortable. Thanks Emma.
It's interesting to see what a difference a few centimeters make. I'm a bit shorter than you and the arch jeans fit completely differently 😁 really love the quality of the cos jeans! thank you for this informative video :)
Very much so! This is why I prefer brands that offer leg length options. Annoying because I love Cos but I often can’t wear their trousers or jeans because they’re too short 🙃
Thank you for a really useful vlog Emma. I've never purchased any Cos jeans - M&S are my go to brand but I really liked the Column jeans. I must say I agree with you on the turn up style! Not my bag at all - I have a photo of my dad in a pair of turn up jeans in the 1950s - I think he was channelling his inner James Dean, although I think the style was very popular then! Also the pair with the front crease! In my youth during the 1970s you would have been committing style suicide if you had ironed a front crease in your jeans! So I won't be buying jeans with a crease as I have already been emotionally disturbed by them! 😂 I hope you Simon and the Bs have had a lovely Sunday. Xxxx
Ah yes, how the fashion crimes of yesteryear haunt us 🤣
I own a pair of 'Column' Straight Leg Jeans as my investment piece in dark blue colour. Very happy as I wasn't lucky to find anything similar fit-wise and simple for years. For unknown reason Levis 501 doesn't fit me and COS turned out to be a keeper. Thank You for a very helpful and informative video!
Thank you for watching x
what’s on your skin in this video?!? looks amazingly glowy
I use an SPF with a shimmer in it, it’s called Glow Screen x
THANK YOU Emma very good video
Thank you for watching x
Morning Emma, thanks for this video. Was really useful. I’m 5ft 3.5 and my inseam is 31inches which is quite long for my height. I find high waisted really uncomfortable with my tummy. I do have gallbladder challenges so may explain why but I also seam to get on better with a little bit of stretch.
Hope you have a lovely Sunday. Take care xx
Hi Emma i love jeans ❤
Thanks for the excellent review. I like COS but same as you, often find their jeans just that smidge too short (I am 173cm, UK 10)
It’s so annoying. Arket is the same and they’re both brands which I love but trousers and most jeans are a no-go. It really depends on style style and there’s no consistency 🙈 so it’s just trial and error.
I just ordered the Levi's 501 90s because it was on sale, only $35! score! The 90s jeans were fantastic, too.
oohh, maybe another blazer video? It's been a good while since you had one.
What a bargain! They’re always so much cheaper in the US than over here. Me and Simon always used to buy ours from the Levi’s outlets for about $30 🙌🏼
Thanks for your review, I haven’t tried COS jeans yet. I’m not a jeans fan because they’re the least comfortable garment on me, by far, but I like to have an updated pair or two for those rare rugged activities, or, honestly, just to blend in once in a while. I have to admit, jeans and other trousers are very flattering, I just wish I could get a decent, reasonably comfortable fit. Sizing up a size helps, I’ve found, but then they’re enormous on my skinny hips and give me Dumbo Ears at the hips. Four-inch empty flaps of fabric aren’t a great look!
Haha ah yes the trials and tribulations of finding clothes that fit properly 😭
I liked the normal barrel.❤
Thanks Emma very informative video 😊 I have few pairs of the column straight leg jeans and I find them super comfortable, they become my favs along with Levi’s 501, I have tried the Arch ones but I just look hilarious in them 😅
Yeh I’m just not sure about this barrel leg/tapered trend. It’s like the M&S horseshoe jeans that went viral, they just look weird to me 🙈
A straight leg and some baggier ones for comfy days is definitely more my jam 🙌🏼 Did you size up at all in the Column jeans?
@ I think that barrel jeans are more of a trend and I prefer more classic styles of jeans. I have the column jeans true to side and I am 29.
Can you do a denim review for Levi’s jeans please ?❤
Love Cos but they don’t stock for us petites 😅 loving the short(er) hair on you Emma, looks so chic! Hiiii Simon 👋🏻
They don’t stock for tall either 🙈 There’s such a variation in leg lengths here, it’s only the Facades that were long enough for me 😒
And curved women
The turn up jeans looked best to me 😀
💀🤣🤣🤣🤣
@emmahill could you do a video around length of jeans and trousers with different footwear? This is something i have really struggled with since skinny jeans went out.
Tip number 1: if you like skinny jeans then wear them. It doesn’t matter if someone else says they’re ‘in’ or ‘out’, your opinion is the only one that matters.
@EmmaHill oh u don't particularly want to wear skinnys anymore. I just never know what length jeans or trousers should be anymore as there are more options know than just skinny or bootcut.
Ah ok, I assumed you loved skinnies but felt like you couldn’t wear them any more. I will add this request to the list 😘
@@EmmaHill amazing, thank you so much ❤️
Hi Emma!❤❤❤
Hey 👋🏼
Good day Emma.
😅😅Hahaha, very informative video!,
I love Cos but for jeans, I go for Nudie Jeans as it holds me in the right place. I think jeans depends person to person on body shape. I still love your video as it’s informative
I couldn’t agree more! Unless two bodies are identical they’re never going to fit the same x
That 3th jeans suit you best regardless the fact you do not like the length. That length or colour slim you down.
With respect but this video was not about what suits me best as I think the only opinion that matters on that front is from the person wearing them, in this case mine. Here in this community I encourage women not to comment on other women’s bodies and how they should look. This video is just to show how these jeans look on another body aside from the models on the website who are all very slim, and of course my honest opinion on the jeans so that others can make a more informed decision on if they want to spend their money on them ❤️
You're wearing all the jeans higher than the intended fit, which really impacts the length. Fit and style are super personal, but I'm curious if you'd like some of the ones that were too short in one or two sizes larger.
I would disagree. I think I’m wearing the jeans exactly as they’re intended but because the models have a different body to mine they look different on. However as I mentioned in the video I would want to try a size up in the column jeans for the purpose of comfort x
My job requires a lot of sitting, so my pure cotton jeans are almost unworn, though those with elastane are constantly replaced. But thank you anyway. I’ve at least got an idea of shapes and styles that are in this season
I like the central pleat on jeans only when it is stiched. Otherwise after the first washing it fades away 😂 Thank you for the try on, I like COS knitwear and outwear, the jeans for my body type (hourglass) are always Mango
What the heck is wrong with all of these companies nowadays? 🤬😩
No one does mid rise anymore! I’m 5.3 with rather longer legs which leaves me with quite short corpse 😅 and I literally have no room to fit higher rises
I love that Cos Facade wide leg thou
All the best Emma 🥰
Same! And 100% cotton is soooo uncomfertable 😢
Pirate, cardboard pants...😂😂😂 You are too funny.
Thank you Emma darling for a great video and very informative. Just one off the topic suggestion: I don't think this hair style is very flattering for you and quite aging! I would either straighten it or create curls or waves with an iron or something. I was watching your old videos from 5 / 6 years ago style or colour wise much more becoming, You are beautiful ❤
When you say suggestion what you actually mean is an unsolicited opinion. I didn’t ask for any opinions on my hair and I doubt you stopped to think 🤔 ‘maybe she likes her hair as it is?’, which FYI, I do. I honestly find it baffling that women make these kind of rude comments when speaking to another woman 🤯
@@EmmaHill i love your hair just as it is, gorgeous. I always get people who want to “give me a makeover” because I don’t wear sexy clothes or tons of makeup. It’s annoying, I always think they need a makeover to remove the fake eyelashes, heavy contouring and black eyeliner, change their slutty clothes to more modest, classy ones, but would never say so. We each have our own style, people should say something nice or nothing at all.🙂
@KimberlyPerrotis Sounds like we have the same values and were raised with manners, I think it’s a dying art form these days 🙃 Honestly the way people talk to each other online these days is wild 🤪
@@EmmaHill I'm so so sorry love I didn't mean to be rude or offend you - I sincerely apologize. It should have phrase it differently and use the word 'opinion'. I truly love you Emma darling and didn't mean to upset you. It was just a motherly comment (I am old enough to be you mum). I have been a loyal subscriber for a few years and always look forward to your new videos. Love you and Simon. ❤
@atargeetparker2551 no harm done and thank you for the support ❤️ But if I may, my point was that this kind of opinion isn't required at all, and not that it just needed to be worded differently. I haven't asked what anyone thinks about my hair so I wasn't looking for opinions on that, I really like my hair. As the online world has grown, communication, manners and decency seem to have gone down the pan. I just want to remind people, in this community especially, that the way we talk to others online is so important, it can affect someone's day, someone's life even. Some people may call that being oversensitive but it's just a very unfortunate but simple fact, words matter. I have chosen this online life so I have a pretty thick skin and comments don't affect me any more but if people are speaking to me in a certain way then it does make me concerned for others who are not as thick skinned as I x
Cos and Arket are my go to shops for most things but not for jeans. I feel they’re overpriced and I personally would rather spend that amount on Levi’s. If I’m looking to buy non overpriced jeans then it’s H&M for me.
Yeh there’s not much price difference to Levi’s (if buying new) so I can see why you’d go for Levi’s.
Thanks for the video, how they ‘Look” and how comfortable the cotton is ends up being the reasons why I wear something vs not. I hate a pair of jeans that only work when you are standing up so thanks for telling us how the denim feels! I forget how tall you are? You have 34” inseam so 5’8? Shorter jeans work best on me since they don’t drag on the ground but at 5’4” the cropped jeans always fall weird and look like floods, hahaha!
I popped all my measurements in the description box for reference, I’m 5’9 😘
Emma I love your try on videos, they're so useful. Thanks to u I bought two M&S cashmere jumpers and they are aging so well... On jeans, I used to be a skinny/ slim jean person and I would like to transition towards a wider version but I think these shapes you show are not my cup of tea... as a person who has wore yourself slim/skinny jeans, would you share your own transition? Labels, models... just an idea. And, if you tried them, what do you think of Sezane jeans? Thank u so much 😊 have a lovely week
I still have skinny jeans, I don’t see it as a one or the other, there are just different styles for different looks. I love the look of a straight leg like the Column jeans in this video because they’re classic and comfortable and comfort is something that I prioritise over ‘look’. As mentioned in the M&S video I don’t find skinny jeans the comfiest jeans, something that tight is just not enjoyable for me so that’s why they’re not my preferred style. And I love baggy jeans for comfy days. As women we’ve been conditioned for centuries into thinking that we always have to ‘flatter’ our bodies with what we wear, but you know what? Sometime I just want a baggy crotch and a baggy arse 🤣🙌🏼
I haven’t had a pair of Sezane jeans in years but in all honesty they were never top of my list. I found their sizing very inconsistent and for me the legs were tight and waist too baggy, not to mention issues with length x
Thanks so much for your kind response! 😊😍🙌
Well look at you Emma …breaking out the prune/burgundy Tee ……colour dare I say …! It suits you !
🤣🤣🤣
Would love you to compare Cos v M & S ( which I know you like too) . Just to show us what we get for our money with Fos
They’re two very different brands in terms of aesthetic. Cos is not mainstream, it has a cult following of people who like the not so traditional styles so if that’s your jam and you’re average height then I’d say Cos is the brand for you. M&S has so much more choice, too much you could say but they do offer 3 leg lengths which is more beneficial for me having long legs. The elastane factor also comes into it. Cos do 100% cotton jeans which has no stretch so not great if you need stretch for comfort or weight fluctuation as it’s more forgiving. Cos is also a more premium brand so the cuts, fabric composition and general quality is better overall but that means nothing if you don’t like 100% cotton or the styles of denim they offer x
@ Thanks Emma . I have had both but just interested in the direct comparison. However as you say that would not be comparing like with like xx
Hi Emma, I love your videos! Are you planning to do a video about Levi’s jeans also? Thnks
I wasn’t because I only have 501’s and wouldn’t buy any other style x
Love the video! Maybe I missed it but the t-shirt you were wearing in the beginning, the burgundy one, where is it from? It's exactly what I'm looking for.
It’s listed in the description box towards the bottom where it says ‘Other Items’ x
@EmmaHill oh thanks, I need new glasses then 😆😆
Good morning ✌🏻✨️
Hello. Thank you for this video. I am in the moment to buy new pair of jeans. I consider COS or Levi's. I need to do some tour and to try on some of yoir tecomendation. It is pitty that I don't have COS store in my town.
Somebody could recomend me what is the betet for Petite size 29.
Yeh I don’t have a local one here either, one of very few things I miss about living in London 🙊
Hello nice selection honestly some of them are really flattering nice and cool but some of them are too boxy even being tall too(5'10 here) 😁😉👍 Have a nice Sunday 😉
WTF were those turn-ups?! 😂😂😂😂
Hi Emma, I had my suspicions that Cos’s models weren’t as tall as they look online! I’ve been umming and ahhing over the Column jeans for a while, I’m about half an inch shorter than you, did have a 34 inseam but that might be a wee but less now from age so they’d probably come a tiny bit longer on me, hoping that would look ok. It’s hard to get jeans to fall at the right spot on the ankle when you’re above average height. Would you consider unpicking the hem of those jeans you like? Shouldn’t have to I know! x
No I would just prefer to buy jeans that fit in length rather than unpicking hems. The thing is with the models online, the height may be accurate but they could be sizing up in jeans to get them to look how they do but also their height might not be in their legs like mine is. You can have two people at the same height but have very different leg measurements x
@ It’s so frustrating, I must have ordered 30 pairs of jeans over the last year and sent them all back. I’ll keep trying though 🤞 x
I got a pair of COS jeans few months ago, slim fit with extra high waist and slightly cropped length. They were a bargain at 39€ (last pair left I guess) and fit me like a glove which is rare since I have wide hips but tiny waist. However, I am disappointed and will probably not buy jeans from them again - while the fit is great they strech out very awkwardly pretty much everywhere after few hours of wearing and start looking very awkward. I still don't know why that happens given that they are 100% cotton and have no elastane in them 🤔
Thanks for sharing ❤️
There’s always a pair of jeans for everyone 🙂💙
Absolutely, it just takes a bit of trial and error to find them 🙊
Oh Emma, you had me gigging aloud when you tried on the "turn-up" ones.😅
Off topic, but deep burgundy suits so well. Loving your hair!
xx for BBabies 💕 🐾
PS I've been wearing Levis since my first pair at age 14😊
Haha thank you 😘
Thank you for the information but Cos is a no from me, jeans from M&S are just a s good in my opinion especially as the do short length as I’m 5ft 4 and a wee bit. Your excellent at what you do and go to a lot of trouble to give your viewers full information, so thanks Emma ❤
M&S really do triumph with their denim, I will die with you on that hill 🙌🏼
I'm wondering if the turnups might work for me at 5'2 🤣
🙊😘
So the most difficult thing is “true size” what the f does that really mean anyway? The models often wear 1-2 sizes up but they don’t say that. So you have to guess. If you choose your normal size they usually don’t fit like on the model. Like the first pair on you. You would have to size up at least one size for them to sit like on the model. And of course most models don’t have curves so you have to keep that in mind too. It would be interesting if you did a video on this topic. Get more sizes from the same fit and compare. I believe @thankstofashion sized up in Facade two sizes and they look just right on her as they do you (different washes tho). It’s so confusing. No wonder we get it wrong.
I couldn’t size up in the Facade or they’d have fallen off my hips 🙈 They were the only ones that fit me as I’d want them too, length, rise etc. But yes I agree, the models are very slim and have no curves, I also have no curves but I’m not as slim as I was in my 20’s so naturally they would never fit me in the same way. It’s always trial and error and even then different styles require different sizes. Buying jeans is borderline infuriating 🤣
I think when you see yourself wearing a tailored jacket .slightly shorter jeans look quite good from an overall design.
Yes if that’s a personal preference and style you like. For me it’s a hard ‘no’ but that’s just my personal preference and what I wouldn’t feel comfortable in x
Hi Emma I like your video it is very useful Could I ask your weight?I saw other infos but I couldnt find your weight
I don’t own a pair of scales so I have no idea. I don’t think that matters or would offer any advantage in knowing though. Two people could have the same weight but two very different measurements and body types so I think dress size, waist, bust and height are more useful and accurate pieces of info to have x
My tip for straight leg oversized jeans is to head to the men's department 😮. Also good if you are 5ft 9 +
But they have a bulge at the front to accommodate for man parts 🙈
@EmmaHill I was wondering why they are a bit roomy in the crutch 😃
Good storage space for snacks though 👌🏼
I think I’m over wide led jeans
Hmm, I don't really like the look of any of them. The ones with the turn- up would look better if the turn up was half as much. I don't have an issue with the price point if they look great and last. I buy 99% of my jeans from Next the stretch slim or straight fit long or extra long length and they are about £30 and I get 3 or 4 years out of them then turn them into jean shorts. I think these styles are for the up to age 30 fashionista trend types. X
I have to disagree. I don’t like putting an age on something because age really doesn’t matter when it comes to style. That said statistically speaking their primary customer is actually 35-45. I like that they don’t focus on all the trends all of the time, they’ve always had their own minimal aesthetic and stuck to that. Of course they integrate trends in where possible but they’ve always been a brand with their own style. Minimalism has been ‘in’ and ‘out’ as a trend for the last 20 years but Cos remains true regardless.
I do agree re. the turn ups though, but I only say that based on my height.
@@EmmaHill I get that. I think with being a bit old I don't lean into trends as much. I may nod to them if I like them , but I hate it when you buy something ( especially if it's expensive) to find it looks dated after a year. I am much more careful about how I invest my money clothing wise now. X
Hi Emma. Completely agree with your comments. Like you, I think the last pair of Facade Volume jeans were too short for you but also too long on the crotch which made them odd. Thank you for yet another great video.
Thank you for watching! I quite like a baggy crotch for comfy days but length I will not compromise on 🙈
I don’t think I’d buy jeans from Cos - love them for everything else though - even you couldn’t make most of these jeans look good so there’s no chance for most of us!! and I think I’ll stick to M&S to buy jeans x
I personally prefer M&S jeans as well, because as I’m getting older I definitely prefer the comfort of 1% elastane and they offer different leg lengths 🙌🏼
What’s your height??
I put all those details in the description box x
Helloooooooo 😊😊😊😊
Hey 👋🏼
I have to be very honest with you Emma, the column straight leg one are perfect for you. Rest is covering your nice body shape. They look very manly if that make sense?
With respect, this video was not about deciding on a pair of jeans that flatter my body. As mentioned at the start, this video is to help others decide if Cos jeans are for them and if they want to spend their money on them.
Over centuries women have been conditioned into thinking that we should want to flatter our bodies all the time sacrificing our own comfort. I personally don’t feel the need to show off my body all the time and I want to be comfortable, so sometimes I want a big baggy pair of jeans rather than something that’s cutting off my circulation and causing a yeast infection because they’re so tight 🙃
Fab try-on Emma ❤
Thank you x
I have got just 2 pair of COS jeans but I won't buy any more because I don't like the on-line model's.
I am a classic slim pear shape not a 6' tall skinny person. All the models have the same masculine look and they don't look like me. I find it hard to imagine what the clothing looks like on a more average woman's body's. All the jeans that you tried on only one pair stood out to look fabulous on you. Thank you for showing us how they don't fit the normal female body.
Agreed, their models are definitely not the most inclusive or varied in terms of body shape 🙈
I feel like almost all of the jeans look too short on you compared to the online pics, while their models are usually tall, close to 176-180cm 🤔
Yeh but the models might have longer torsos and a shorter inseam than me. I have a shorter torso and my height is all in my legs x
Pirate😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
🍀👍❤
All jeans look the same and very boring.
Cos is not about bells and whistles. It’s a simple, understated and minimal brand. Sounds like that may not be your cup of tea x
