I fished the piedra river near pagoosa springs when I was in that region. Beautiful hike along that river. Great trout fishing. One of the best fishing trips I ever took
Frisco, TX. Daughter is going to Fort Lewis College in the fall and we’re looking to move to the area in the next year. Ideally buy a small piece of land and put a nice single section on it for us and her when she moves off campus. I’d love to see a video specially on small land properties and what’s entailed with putting a home on them. Also, we watch your videos all the time. We’ve visited the area several times but learn so much from your work. Thanks for doing what you do!
Thank you so much for the kind words! Means a lot! I’ll definitely add that to my list of videos to shoot. This won’t answer all your questions but did you happen to check out my video called- Buying Land in Durango, CO? It’s going to be more general but should still help a lot. Don’t hesitate to reach out as questions come up as well.
I live in Orlando, Florida. I am looking for a place near skiing and hiking, but still with a town. I’m not sure about the snow and cold, haha, even though I love skiing. Thanks for the videos!
Awesome! I love that area. Durango definitely checks those boxes. Ya, the snow and cold is real. We just got about a foot but I will say in comparison to just about every other ski/ resort type town the temps are warmer here in the winter. My pleasure. Glad you are enjoying the videos!! Don’t hesitate to reach out or comment if you have any questions or if you have any suggestions on videos to make.
Feel free to shoot me a text or call and we can talk in more detail- 970-431-0008 or the number in the video. To answer your question, we will most likely have a good amount of snow and it might snow while you are here. It's a great time to see Durango to really get a feel for what winter is like though so I do recommend coming then. Regarding safety, it of course really depends on the weather at the time of the trip. Do you have a 4x4 vehicle with good clearance? I also recommend using the site cotrip planner to see weather conditions. It also has cameras you can look at that are on the road. I hope that helps!

Ya, the snow is a real thing ha. We just got 15 inches in town and more at higher elevations. I'd suggest, if you can, come for a week in January or February and get an Airbnb in an area you would prefer to buy in if possible. My pleasure! Thanks for the comment and for watching! Feel free to shoot me a text or comment what other title you would like to see or subjects covered.

We want to travel late Feb early March from Texas, how is the weather? Do you know if it would be safe to drive from Texas?
