I know, right? The process shown in this video is what NORMAL people look like when they cook. Even my grandmother who knew how to cook well had a messy kitchen we had to clean up when she was done. That's why it was always such a BIG DEAL to clean the cooking surface with salt to sanitize it. SO much fun, this!

Zucchini bread has been a staple in my moms kitchen. I know not many think it’s good, but it’s very good. Recently my mom passed from brain cancer. Her recipes will live on.

I love your family values, how you mother your children, letting Emme cut the zuchinni and add the ingredients while you film with the other shows where your priorities are, and I absolutely love that about you. My husband and I had planned a trip back to the Silos, as we were there for the Grand Opening and now all that has been pushed back. My grandma used to bake hers in a loaf pan and add cinnamon sugar on top and bake. Warm out of the oven with butter.... HEAVEN!
Every time I see your here in RUclips and at the tv on your fixer upper show, I just think that this is an example of perfection, I love that way how you and your husband make you family happy, I love it so much is like a dream, I been marry for only 5 years and we don’t have kids yet but when I see your family it’s like a training for me, I feel like this is the kind of mommy that I want to be and the wife that my husband will love for ever... My mom used to make this when I was a little older than Ella. I can remember taking some to school and my friends turning their noses up when I told them what it was...until they tried it. Can’t wait to try your recipe.
Let the juice drain and then drink it or use for a soup! Put the shredded zucchini in a container in the refrigerator overnight and then press out more in a strainer in the a.m., my husband loves it! That’s right! Thank you for your recipe!

Fabulous recipe! I used 3 zucchinis and 1.5c of raw cane sugar and it was plenty sweet. I also split the batter between 2 smaller pans. A day later and it still so moist. Thanks for sharing this recipe, I'll definitely be making this again and again! 😋

I always bake zucchini bread in a loaf pan! I like the way I can slice it like a piece of thick bread! And of course like you said Jo... put that butter on there! Yum 😋🍞

I tried this recipe and it was so good, It only lasted a couple of days in my house and that was just me and my husband eating it. It made two bread pans so I am giving one to my daughter, because she loves zucchini bread. My new go to recipe

I love this size of zucchini! I had just bought one from the grocery store and it said it “zucchini”. Neither my husband nor I thought it was a zucchini because it was so large! I cut it into cubes instead of making noodles. I steamed it and poured marinara sauce over it! I will keep referring back to this video when I do try to make your zucchini bread! If this is Ella filming then she has some awesome filming skills! Blessing from NC

Omg... Wow well making the batter my son and I were mixing in everything step-by-step following the video. Our Banner was not smooth and runny like yours it was thick and dry. And we added exactly everything like you. I just added 1/2 cup applesauce and that helped me out. It's baking in the oven...it smells delicious!

Another note: Made Gaines Family Chili day before yesterday. The toughest part was making the 1/2 recipe because it’s just DH and me, and we are OMAD, so leftovers are tough. That said: we had everything on hand and LOVE IT. Enjoying my #Volume 1 that d-i-l got me for Christmas 🥰❤️

Hello Joanna. I actually add a couple of shredded carrots and pureed apple from 1 medium apple which then requires 1/2 the sugar.
My wife baked this this morning. We ended blending the excess zucchini liquid with freshly squeezed orange juice afterwards. Deeeelish. We're your biggest fans outside the U.S.A.

My mom makes great zucchini bread. She adds a little apple-sauce to the mix to keep it moister. You can also make them into muffins.

I like that you make mistakes and don't edit them out. It makes me feel better because a lot of cooks show their perfect outcome and it depresses me that mine came out looking like caca!
i just made it today, i didnt squeeze the zucchini,i forgot but OMG it turned out so airy or fluffy,moist and ofcourse so yummy!!!! and i put some raisins coz my husband loves it....i will make it again...Thanks Jojo for sharing. Greetings from switzerland
