Ahoy my friends! Today I'll be discussing the Crash Coop and what you can bring if you are looking to do it (which is honestly PRETTY LENIENT) along with showing you guys a clear run with a voiceover of the Solo Crash 2 fight with an interesting team that I saw in a video a friend sent me! The player who cleared it with this team did it with no OB10 DPS weapon and lots of other lower level OB weapons as well! I was inspired by them (Janille, great work!) and wanted to try the team out for myself. Turns out, it slays. Let's fuckin go! PS: my apologies for the bad music quality at end of the fight. I really like how this crash is flexible on builds. Got a video on my channel using Tifa, Red, and Barret, and used Blizzara materias for the ice phase
smooth win, gg. i experimented with this team comp but ultimately went back to Seph-Zack-Barret and got the clear. used Seph with protector’s blade and edged wings, Zack with crystal sword and arc sword, and Barret with microlaser and assault gun.
I just finished the 2nd Solo crash so I am now done with all the solo and co-op! I got had a couple different randoms that we almost beat the second crash, but then I got lucky with the last randoms I found. Ice Seph that was doing MASSIVE damage(380k Aerial Frostblades!), Red using Therapeutic Touch that surprisingly worked w/Ivy Collar, and I was running Eggstaff Aerith with Snowspell. I honestly did not think we we're going to beat ti because we all went down at some point in the fight kind of early on before the boss HP was even down to 1/2, but we pulled through! I beat the second solo with Tifa, Seph, and Aerith. Tifa was healer/Mdef debuff with her new summer outfit(I originally went with her Buff ext costume, but opted for more fire damage to get through the 3 ice bombs faster). Seph was Ice build, with Aoinibi at OB7 for that High buff. And then Aerith with Eggstaff and Snowspell. I can not stress how infuriating it was to have to lose out on so many attempts simply because, yet again, WE HAVE NO PROPER MANUAL MODE! I am seriously so freaking tired of fighting my own AI! I didn't think the fight itself was particularly hard, but it was just fighting with my AI so they don't use the wrong attack, or not buff/debuff, at the right time.
Good work! I’m still a little new to take on this solo. With strongest ice magic weapon I have I can’t take bar down enough to prevent being one shot. Maybe next time xd
One thing I noticed in this fight, if you use a Mdef down attack you have to use it after the bar show ups otherwise it falls off. But if you use an elem down attack it will stick. That makes no sense. They should just all stick no matter what.
Definitely doable with no OB10 Edged wings. Mine is at OB7, BUT if it is not you will need a HUGE Matk stat, and a really high Ice pot(prob 9 or 10). Either that or a way to Matk to high. My Seph had about 5200 Matk/Ice pot lvl7 but I had to have Aoinibi for the high matk buff otherwise it was a no-go.
The biggest problem is kill the bombs in time. If you dont have Crimson Blade at OB6 it will be really hard. Im trying using Red fire aoe too, but still cant. Also, i still have some big lag sometimes.
Yeah that’s the major killer. Can use Ifrit for 1 round and poss Crimson Flare for fire potency for another but still leaves one set of them. Try ST fire damage and take em out quickly with imperil first
Little sad that Solo Crash 2 is impossible F2P without Sephiroth or another very strong magic ice damage dealer but I still feel pretty good about being able to clear Solo Crash 1 without him.
Really nice strategy, unfortunately the Mag ability pot is killing me, I can only get up to lv4 and can't deplete the bar on time to reduce the enemy patk😢
yeap, I've tried several times with different adjustments, my setup is pretty similar to yours and Janille's except for the Mag ability pot since I don't have Powersoul or Electrocannon, guess I'll just have to pass this one and focus on the coop one
@BodhiJMSRyder earlier this afternoon, it's prob the second easiest next to Turks. I think I just made the right call when I wishlisted Red's ivy collar as soon as it was possible. And I got super lucky with the egg staff , I think I got it ob10 in just 2 or 3 diff banners

Totally agreed on the AI and also we need a fixed camera position option for battles.
