Also the one child program that cause the fall of China. So many girls killed, hidden, sold. So many single men nowdays. Yes They are poor people in China too and They are used by criminals.
Can't blame the kids though. Used to have beggar kids run up to my car when I lived in Yangon. I knew any money would just be taken by the gang leaders so I kept a bag of snacks and treats in my glove box to give them instead, so at least they're getting something to eat.
Thank you for always exposing them. There was a popular video of a young boy who was abandoned by his gang, and people punished him by stepping on his hand. He cried. When i commented about thief gangs using children, trolls attacked me by saying that it was fake and no kidnapping, and no children gang existed. You keep up the great work.
It was probably the gang members who were trolling you trying to get you to delete your comment. Don’t let evil people silence you- let the world know when you see something wrong happening. It’s the right thing to do.
Everywhere. Could be in your family, your "friends", your "neighbours", your community, strangers on the streets, your company, ...? Of course, there are many good people too.
I was also chased by some children in Guangzhou. After giving money to one child, a dozen children suddenly ran out from the side. When I walked quickly into the crowd, I heard an adult telling them to stop chasing me from behind! They are from the same group! I want to help them but can't, and I will remember that heartache for the rest of my life! Thank you very much for sharing! Happy New Year! 👍🥰🙌🎈🎉
I was visiting Dr sun yat sen gardens and my elderly uncle in law insisted on following me to the washroom to stand by the door so I wouldn't be assaulted from behind just in case. that was 15 years ago.
@ rhetorical1488 My colleague took the train to Guangzhou Railway Station. As soon as he left the station, he was pushed against the wall from behind by three locals! All the belongings he had on him were taken away. Many people nearby saw it, but no one helped him. That was 10 years ago. You were lucky to be with your uncle at the time!
Same thing happens on India. Once saw an emaciated child held by a poor lady. She asked for milk and we bought a box of milk. She then turned around and went back to the vendor and sold the milk back for money.
Every criminal done crime in India in name of "Jesus, Allah, religion, caste, Politician or communism." If you try to fight then you are called Rich bastard, high caste criminal, Dirty man etc So I stop doing anything.
@@lapplandkun9273 you do realise nobody gives a damn? You'll need to find some willing to report the attack, plus police willing to investigate. Plus evidence to prove it happened. Why do think police are going to listen to a homeless scammer instead of beating them selves?
@@lapplandkun9273 sorry but you need a reality check. People get beat everyday, and they aren't even homeless people. Or living in the third world. Police aren't some omnipresent force of protection.
You had balls to go out there as a foreigner & confront these people face to face... especially as all the other Chinese people sat by & said nothing. I definitely wouldn't have been confident enough to do that 😅
@@JazzTen- It's not just that. The local people are there each day. The gangs remember then and will retaliate if they say anything. Maybe not that day, but some other day. There is a Chinese underground and an underground mafia. They aren't strong, but they play dirty and will get revenge if they can.
In South Africa, they also rent out children & babies for the the begger women too (kids that stand in the sun all day in the road, that should be in school) These people take advantage of charity; it’s disgusting. It’s why we stopped giving too
When I was there about 10 years ago I remember every parking lot had a beggar asking for money to guard your car. If you refuse you will come back to your car with scratches dents and a broken window.
They do that in Romania too. Tbh i think every country does it. if china (country where ppl dont typically give to beggars) has gangs doing it, imagine the rest of the world where people are easier targets.
It's understandable. No one want to help someone who don't help themselves first, and certainly not people who use kids for pity. I grew up in a dirt poor family in a former Warsaw pact country. Mind you, not Western countries, poor. I started to work at 8 as a cleaner for some workshops. My family, despite being poor, forbade me to beg in any way. My mother was a nurse, and my father was a factory worker. That's why I despise scammer so much. Now I'm an older man, who made its life in a western country, I would give to the poor people, as we have to support the unlucky and those who can't provide for themselves, but I always make sure they're legitimate poor people and not scammer. My daughter knows a few poor families because she's a social worker, so I gave directly to them anonymously. This Christmas, they got a gift card for an amount of enough money to buy groceries for a family of 4 for 2 weeks. I made 3 of these cards. My daughter told me they're good people, but they were unlucky, so it's the only ones I give money to. Anonymously, no taxes write off, but it's worth it.
As a Chinese, thank you for everything you do. If you are in China, please pay attention to the number of missing people in China. It is a huge number. In a country where surveillance is everywhere, they just disappear. There must be a big criminal group doing bad things.
It’s happening all over the world. It’s not for criminal act. It is for ritual and also for feeding all the entities that live under the ground we walk on

I’m afraid to say that I’m seeing something a bit like this in NYC lately. It’s absolutely horrible to see children used in these scams, especially in winter and when they have access to taxpayer funded aide.
Thank you for publicizing this scam. I stopped giving to corporate charities when I found out they are required to give a minimum of only 5% of donations to the cause. And now some point out they are not charity but a Political Action Committee as if that was any different. Nope. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had a client who was a Baptist minister. We had a long talk one day about how we viewed charity and agreed lots of big charities do more for themselves than the client population. Not everyone can physically volunteer but there are watchdog outfits that monitor charities. And small local ones are much easier to check on.
Not to mention the 'philanthropists' who set up charities purely because 'charitable donations' are not taxed. Simply, shifting their money around while avoiding tax.
Absolutely heartbreaking to see the exploitation being carried out by these criminal syndicates. It's a paradigm shift to realize that these aren't just "hard on their luck" individuals but pawns in a larger, more sinister game. The world needs to be made aware of these realities.
Its nowhere near as bad or oganized as in china but being from the south side of chicago and later moving to the suburbs ive seen this happen here too. Women getting dropped off in nice cars wearing dirty clothes with a bunch of children to beg on intersections. Disgusting behavior.
A very heavy black female wit 2 kids on the street with a sign here in Stockton, 2 weeks ago. She had a brand new Lincoln Navigator parked in the bushes. True story.
NYC subways have been like that for decades. Fake beggers, tourist scams, etc. the typical monk scam where they say you're obligated to "donate" because they pushed a "gift" into your hand (usually a business card with some stupid "luck blessing") or more commonly a hipster will come up to you and ask for fare money and give you some sob story about how they can't get home. (Basically the "empty gas tank scam") It's big industry in NYC and the reason why I refuse to visit anymore. And beggars always borrow children from each other before they go begging. You never know who's the real mother unless it's something obvious like they're different races.
Same in Germany, I've seen videos of people getting dropped off from premium cars (not exactly luxury anymore but used Mercedes, Audis and BMWs that still cost a couple of thousand or even more than 10k bucks used) around the corners of food banks or at the "job center" - the Employment Agency that also manages your social security (unemployment benefits/aid/assistance), social fraud. And some of these beggar gangs aren't with "local" ancestry but rather romani/sinti people "Gypsies" (of course not all of these are such buttholes but IMHO stereotypes don't come from nothing) often with a hierarchy where a few are filling their pockets (not only with organized begging but also with some other schemes like said social fraud, offering services like house cleaning or gardening for extortionary prices and doing fake calls) and live in luxury. And getting into the subways, trams or commuter trains "S-Bahn" is even easier because we got almost no ticket gates the have controllers instead but of course these rather occur rarely.
Yes it was kinda true. Some were even more rich than the normal citizens. But in the western countries, the beggers are just simply poor, or criminal. Beggers are all over the world, and now our government helped them, you barely could see the begger group on the street. We are figuring out our own problems, but you guys are not and checking via variety of social medias, staying home and being a coach potato and talking to yourself:“ohhh, we are the best country of the world, salute „ actually, we all just need to mind our own business
In the Netherlands we also have professional beggars, mostly from Eastern Europe like Roemenië. They get dropped off in the morning and picked up after “their days work”. Begging for money without returning anything or service is actually against the law in the Netherlands, so they sell “The homeless newspaper “ that nobody actually is interested in but was established so that genuine homeless people could earn money instead of begging for money. They have to buy them for ~€1 each and can sell them for €2. Technically that isn’t considered as begging for money.
So that’s why I always see a person with a bunch of newspapers standing outside jumbo or AH greeting random people. Never seen one with a child though.
This newspaper has been around since the eighties. It is a Dutch project. Believe me, because I stood at the printing presses for numerous events back then.
The leader of a country once said, "Who cares if it is a white or black cat? As long as it catches the rat, it is a good cat." That is, the ends justifies the means. Fortunately, not all Chinese agree, and there are those of us who would rather be poor than to cheat.
OMG Greece is second to last in the charitable list, I didn't expect we'd be so low 😳 Edit: Now that I think about it, the overwhelming majority of people who beg in Greece fall under this category of scamming in various ways (most of them are Gypsies, yes, I said it), or people who are addicted to drugs. And people don't really give them money all that often, myself included. I only tried to help those who genuinely looked like they were down on their luck and even then, I never gave money, only food
The history of Greece in the 20th century probably made the people wary of giving to those they don't know. They had some tough times. I don't think they are bad for that, I think they are smart. Americans are gullible and also cursed with being easily made to feel guilty because they have more.
that's a easy way to know if they are truly in need just give/treat them to food and make sure they eat it if they are truly in need they would mostly be thankful
Maybe you have no tradition on voluteering and personal donations to charity. You have a fairly high score on "helping a stranger". A society built on charity might not be the best either. It's the american way.
@@KabonkNo1 Well, the greeks do have a very high 'waste your money, let other people save your wasteful and corrupt ass and then insult them for saving you' score though. According to my german friends at least, but they are only peeved about those pathetic 600 billion Euro they have to pay for Greece. While being insulted by the greeks as 'nazi'.
This is not just in China but a world wide problem. These gangs have gone to the western countries and opened up shop . Organized crime has become a real problem an the begging turns into extortion and murder over time. They also have become pick pockets and scammers in many different countries. Call centers have opened up in India and Nigeria as these countries are hard to track down and prosecute these criminals.

This. Even the non-crooks are either drug addicts or assholes that nobody wanted to deal with anymore. My own anecdote was I knew someone who was homeless who begged but he was the biggest asshole. Came from an upper middle-class family, could have had life on easy mode with the amount of job options given to him but acted like a spoiled degenerate druggie who screwed people over nonstop, so karma finally got to him. There is a community in North Augusta, South Carolina called the "Irish Travelers" they are not Irish but they do travel! They are involved in the following: Medicare, Medicaid, food stamp, life insurance, and loan fraud. Also, the men have been known to be involved in the following when they "travel" : roofing, drive way and other swindles!
The "Travellers" are a group I still can't quite figure out. Most of them apparently are ethnically Irish, although there are a lot in the US and Britain. In Ireland they've always been called "Tinkers" because traditionally they would make a living going around mending metal pots and pans, something Roma (Gypsies) in Europe also did. Often they've been confused with Roma, and still are. But Roma people originally came from India. Maybe there's been some cultural mixing and intermarriage between the two groups, though. Interestingly both groups are kind of pariahs everywhere they go, mostly known for being grifters and scammers who refuse to do honest work, educate their children, or integrate into normal society. But there's a tendency to romanticize them too.
@@KathyPrendergast-cu5ci No the travellers in Ireland and Scotland do have their roots in those two countries. They have nothing to do with the Roma or the other gypsy ethnic groups. The word - tinker - comes from the word - tin - because they would use it to repair pots and pans. The word gipsy/gitan comes from Spanish and is derived from the word -Egyptian - because of the mistaken belief that they came from there. We now know that they originate from North-West India.

When I was working as a musician in Shanghai many years ago at the Grand Hyatt, the manager of the hotel took us for a tour where many criminal “beggars” were and explained this situation. I worked in the city of Melbourne where this crackdown was. The local beggars aren't much better. Quite often they'll have a dog to help with the sympathy but it's not unusual to see them together after hours having a few beers. They are genuine homeless people but the money is often to fund degenerate lifestyles that their government welfare wouldn't cover.
They do that in england too they sit with a dog and a sign saying can you spare some change for my hungry dog some food please. Just go buy a pack of complete dry mix and drop it in front of him it pisses them off 👍🏻
Aussie also, Melb. Those people are called "professional Beggers". Plenty of people in need, however there are plenty of homeless who have Mercedes parked just a few blocks away. And they aren't worried about the crazy city parking, since they are making plenty more than just the parking cost. Been plenty of news stories of it over the past 10+ years.
On hot days I bring a bottle of water to pour into the dogs’ bowls. A woman outside Young & Jackson’s declined twice. I was ‘allowed’ to donate water on the 3rd go. Guess she wanted cash. At least she was local. I give nothing to the more recent elderly Chinese women beggars along Swanston & Collins etc. They look pathetic, elderly women living on the street. But their sudden appearance seemed sus. Thx for covering the Chinese nationals exploiting Melbournians.
In some countries, “don’t get involved” is normalized and actually taught to young people. I’ve been in situations like: “don’t be a bystander: be an upstander !!” Chinese co-teacher: “kids, don’t do what American teacher says on this: it’ll cause you trouble and possibly danger.” [me:] “kids, I can tell what Shao-Jíyâe teacher just said even though I don’t speak Chinese. Ignore what she just said and stand up for a moral future.”

I am from germany, we have the same baggers here. When i was 20, i wanted to be a bit helpful, went to a nearby bakery, bought some stuff from yesterday, went in front of the baggers, and show them the open paperbag, so they can grab something to eat. Then i saw one of them, who's watch peeped. He stand up and walked away into a lonely alley, open the trunk of a Mercedes, throws his jacket into there, close the trunk, get behind the wheel and drove away. And that was the time, i stopped giving something to these people. And musicians and other artists who bagging will be ignored. We have a social net here, nobody has to starve in germany, Only restrict your meals a bit.
I still remember a very brief interaction with a beggar at my hometown train station in the Netherlands. He asked for a euro, but I replied I would buy him a sandwich instead. "NO! I WANT MONEY".. So no, and fugg off.. That's probably almost two decades ago, but nothing has changed except me not even looking at them. It's everywhere, but this one stayed with me the most.
The US also has this problem. Begging on the streets with fake signs that say their young child has died and they have no money for the child's funeral. Pretending to be playing a violin using an amplified speaker, but with a hidden CD player that is actually a recording of a violin. Women begging for money with a fake infant inside a blanket. It's a big problem worldwide. These are known as begging scammers who prey on naive people. At the end of the day, they are picked up by a relative driving a car, newer than my own vehicle.
Omg, the poor sign, the poor violin, the poor toy doll. Well I guess if that happens in America, it's ok to kidnap and maim children in China. See, China is so far ahead. And beggars in China are world-best - AI 5G homeless. Take that US 😂
With the violins, it's always the same set of songs. Can't count the number of times I've heard the exact same version of Despacito. Another scam people do is ask for gas money and when you say no, they act super desperate and are willing to give you gold jewelry. Obviously, it's costume jewelry and they have a bag of rings and necklaces in the back seat.
In Italy, way back in 92, a couple of shipmates and I were in an outdoor restaurant. A woman carrying what looked like a fake baby came in and went straight for us with her hand out, obviously wanting money. But a couple of the waitstaff (who looked like guys you wouldn't want to mess with) were on to her quickly. They each grabbed her by one of her arms (the woman protesting, acting like they were going to hurt the "baby"), dragged her to the exit and literally shoved her right out off the property. Those guys did NOT fool around. Got a feeling that wasn't the first time they've had to deal with her.
Did they take the baby so that it could go to someone who is actually selfless enough to raise the real human baby, despite what it's being used for? I dont blame them if they didn't, but kudos to anyone who does.
I've seen lots of children begging in the Phillipines. Its the saddest thing I've ever seen, really it makes me feel so sad inside. I was told after that they report to the gangs (Antipolo/Metro Manila), as the gangs had put them up to it. Not only that, but children that are doing this are huffing paint as well, and that addiction is a huge problem. What's being discussed in this video reminds me of this. I started watching your videos when I started living overseas. I appreciate you approaching these hard topics and enlightening the world.
Going from USA to Philippines every year, the poverty and suffering in Mindanao and Samar never cease to shock me. Feeding children is the best we can do.
ive lived in Metro Manila for 10 years now, beggars, especially children are a HUGE problem . the most useful phrase to learn is 'Wala akong Pera' (i have no money ) do not , do NOT give anything to these people and dont think for 1 instant you are being charitable or kind , you are being a sap , a dick head, and conned
@@yummm8775 yes 👍👍 if my wife and i go out to a restaurant , anything left cover we get packag up and give away. during the covid lock down my wife and i bought and packaged up canned food , rice etc to give away to homeless - which is a hell of a lot more than the church was doing to help .
We have a similar issue in the US. Obviously not as bad as China as they’re not disfiguring children but none of them are starving as you can get a free meal easily at places like food pantries, churches, food stamps, etc. They just want cash to buy drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, etc.
Yep in Austin, Tx the homeless are given a card to be able to get food daily. Nothing fancy but warm, clean and nutritious. Most homeless don’t even bother hiding the cards because unless you have needed the card you would not know what it’s for. They will go up to people and beg for money saying they haven’t eaten in days. They will even go into markets and grab a couple of items and ask for money to be more convincing. Never ‘Ever’ give them money. I’ve tried many times to give packaged food and been cussed out or worse because they just want money.
because the childs future is of no concern, other than to serve their ill-gotten gains. they have literally enslaved the children to serve them. lets not forget, it is chinese culture to be responsible for and take care of their elders. also in countries where you do not have cheap readily available energy, the way they make up for it, is by having more man power, so lots more children. the more cheap and readily available energy a culture has, the better quality of life they have and longer they live
Seen all this when I was in China I was literally chased by these beggars many times it’s insane. I’ve seen these same beggars here in Vancouver Canada I showed my Chinese wife and she was shocked and we have lots of these fake Chinese monks as well . 🤬

i can remember a time when winston barely had much bad to say about china, he loved living there. however no matter what culture, or country, there are negatives. a perfectly sane person gets labelled as crazy, purely because you do not understand or agree with their culture. once you understand their logic, what seems insane, is purely just different ideology and way of living

Ever since that day I’ve avoided homeless people and beggars like the plague. It’s not that I don’t have sympathy, but you see stuff like this and what I’ve experienced and I feel that if I’m going to give any help to them it’s indirectly like making food for shelters or donating to organizations that specialize in helping the less fortunate.
I mean... you treat all homeless people a particular way because of one woman's behavior. Questioning that isn't a matter of guilt, it's a matter of logic. Anyway, I give simply because I realize I'm lucky enough that I can.

the same is happening verywhere. In Italy near the entries of the supermarkets they have "work shifts", one leaves another one comes to his or her place. They are clearly "managed" by some criminal organizations. Everywhere it is like this. this is poverty and lack of education. I actually feel very sorry for these people, they just don't know how to do better.
First you say they are managed by criminals, then you say it is poverty, lack of education and they don't know how to do better. Wtf? If they are managed by criminals, do you really think they can just leave and get an education and a job? Assuming this isn't all just propaganda to vilify those less fortunate than you, in order to justify actions that would otherwise be deemed inhumane as opposed to addressing the problem in a humane way, which is inconvenient and difficult.
Not surprised. We have this all over in the US. Maybe most of it is not related to "organized crime", but there are a ton of beggar-scammers out there in every major town and city. Too many bleeding-hearts give them money. The way to help a truly homeless or disadvantaged person is NOT to just throw money at them. (Read the book "When Helping Hurts".) But we American's love to blindly think that quick-fixes are possible for every issue.
I don't give for them. I give for me. It is an exercise in remembering all the opportunity and choice I have. I am happier because I give. Why they take the money and what they do with it is not my business. I'm no better than them, only luckier.
We have a few of these shysters operating in the Melbourne (Australia) city centre as well. They actually thought so little of Aussies that they all used the same kid, taking turns. Same kid had different destitute families, depending on the time of the day...poor fella had to work three times as hard as the adults, so I hope they at least bought him a rice bun at the end of the day. That's a theme I've noticed with Chinese shysters, in general. Be they street hustlers, in business or even at the market. The stuff they pull just makes you think they take you for a complete and utter idiot. Not only do they try to steal from you, they insult your intelligence in the process. Just cartoonesque levels of shysterism.
Greetings from Sydney Australia. I got stung in a large shopping centre by a "fake monk" before I was educated in the scam. Shaved head, dressed in Chinese monk garb handing out bracelets and asking for a donation to build a temple. After making a donation, an Asian guy who say it came over and told me he's a fake monk and that real monks don't beg or ask for money. Real monks are humble and if you want to give, you can put in their little bowl, but they will never ask.
Thank you Serpentza , I love your videos. You show us that no one else would ever do here in the western world. I wish you and your family a Successful Happy new year. Stay awsome 👾

One of them came up to me, and I just shot him the look of "I know what you're up to", and he turned right around!
Man this almost made me cry.. idk something about thinking of kids just getting sucked into that life just breaks my heart.. and then to think they will grow up to more than likely repeat the only circle of life they know is so sad too.. Thanks for bringing this one up, i usual don't give cash to beggars, i'll buy food for them and their pets if i feel like giving something but very rarely cash and if it s cash its usualy abt the price of a cheap meal never gave a bill to a homeless person
I’ve been homeless on and off for years in the past (domestic violence, other forms of abuse, illness etc) and I’m often disgusted by the behaviour of other people actually down in their luck but they have some semblance of justification, the fact they are exploiting disfigured and disabled people for a buck is wrong.
Same thing went on in S. Korea in the seventies. They would lay in the streets with children wearing shabby clothes. They would be there every day. The American soldiers that just got into country were targeted because they were naive. These scammers knew who the soldiers were that had been in country for a while, so they were not targeted.
I didn't see your comment before I posted mine. I lived there then. I did not give to any of them. The policeman whose box was on my street laughed when i told him I chased them away yelling insults in Korean. The saying he taught me was "If I give a penny to every beggar, soon there will be one more beggar"
I've never given money to beggars. When I still played music, people would try to rope me into doing "benefit shows" where I play for no money. I would do them occasionally when I felt like I benefitted from it personally. When I was homeless last year, I saw a whole new level of this kind of behavior. Here in the US, the Supreme Court ruled that panhandling is protected under free speech, so the problem has only gotten worse. But my god; I saw people who were professionally homeless milk the system and talk about how theyve been doing it for years, then they get angry with the people in the system when whatever they want is not delivered to them. I was only homeless for 20 weeks which is apparently not the norm for people that were in my situation. But through it all, my experience only solidified my reasons for NOT giving to beggars and panhandlers.
I never do either. I'll offer to buy them something to eat, a coffee, but I won't give cash.. Sadly. too many times they have refused the food offer... sometimes quite rudely.. They want you to support their habit.... or F off...
I absolutely admire how you have no chill and walk straight up these people, not caring about the stares and instantly becoming the center of attention and scrunity and still upholding you ideals. Just how do you do that?
Jordan Peterson also answered almost this same question. Not taking action now is MUCH WORSE in the long term. They tried to enforce compelled speech, which is pure evil, and he dug in and stood his ground as the other sheep sheeped. In his case, it wasn't bravery, it was knowing that passiveness enables evil.
People are doing this here in America. There's beggars all over town who look and dress the same. They look too well dressed to be homeless. Same shoes. You can tell they're all together. It makes me question all of them and the actual homeless suffer.
About the Chinese beggars in Australia: we have the exact same problem here in Germany. Though they’re not Chinese beggar gangs (yet), instead we have East European and African beggar gangs that fake injuries, etc. and walk through the shopping areas all day until the my get collected in the evening. And people are still dumb enough to give them money.
We have those as well in Western Europe in every larger city. Here they are Roma from Bulgaria and Romania, which are being carted into the towns in the mornings by small busses, and then are picked up again in the evening. Many western countries now start bringing in new legislation against organized beggar-gangs because of that, making it a criminal offence. The beggars now also loose their right to remain in the country if caught (at least here in Switzerland).
@@user-fb5lj9cz5l Yeah, they are allowed to remain in all of the EU countries (including Switzerland as we are part of Schengen) for 3 months, provided they are able to finance themselves and provided they look for jobs. And that's were some Swiss Cities start cracking down on them, as they are obviously not looking for jobs (they actually have to prove it) and since they are begging they can by definition not finance themselves. This means they loose their right to remain in the country. All of the EU needs to crack down on them as the legislation is there, but most don't enforce it for .......reasons?
Australia also, Daigou Syndicates, professional beggars, sending gold/money back to China, they have been filmed numerous times warehousing toilet paper, baby formula, masks, essensial items

They do this in India and Europe. Sometimes they deliberately disable a child to get money begging.
Anonymously, no taxes write off, but it's worth it.

depends on the country for how much, by law, must go to the actual charity.
I had a client who was a Baptist minister. We had a long talk one day about how we viewed charity and agreed lots of big charities do more for themselves than the client population. Not everyone can physically volunteer but there are watchdog outfits that monitor charities. And small local ones are much easier to check on.

(Basically the "empty gas tank scam")
It's big industry in NYC and the reason why I refuse to visit anymore.
My eyes opened the day my students told me that begging is a profession in their country😂😂 it was a strange thing to hear at that period
Kind of like the loophole that turned pyramid schemes into multi level marketing.

Edit: Now that I think about it, the overwhelming majority of people who beg in Greece fall under this category of scamming in various ways (most of them are Gypsies, yes, I said it), or people who are addicted to drugs.
Americans are gullible and also cursed with being easily made to feel guilty because they have more.

they do that everywhere. They live in ireland and UK and go around europe, US etc scamming and robbing! they live in caravans yet drive high end cars.
The word gipsy/gitan comes from Spanish and is derived from the word -Egyptian - because of the mistaken belief that they came from there. We now know that they originate from North-West India.

Yes he learned if you back down you'll get trampled over.

He used to live in China for some years until he got "kicked out" from China about maybe 7, 8 years ago. He originally came from South Africa and came to China to become a teacher and then later married a Chinese woman. While he was in China, he used to made videos about the good life he had in China and praised China all the time (he most likely erased those videos already). He used to love China. One day, the Chinese government put in a additional condition for foreigners to apply or renew their Chinese visas (at least for the the long stay type of visas) which is they have to proof that they have not committed any crime in their home country preivouly. However, Serpentz did commit a felony before, animal abuse. Therefore, his visa didn't get renew and he had to leave China. These kidnapping rings/crime syndicate has been a huge problem in china. Growing up I've always had a soft spot for poor people in need and it has always disgusted me that there are people who would take advantage of other's good conscience.
Thank you for letting us know about these scammers.😮😮😮😮
It's not the same unless you're saying children also got kidnapped and mauled by the gangs in US
@@thedarkne
Well, I hate to break it to ya, but the US does have a problem with child trafficking, for all manner of things.
Thank you for standing up to this
In Italy, way back in 92, a couple of shipmates and I were in an outdoor restaurant.
@@VanessWildTraderIt was a fake baby

We have a similar issue in the US. Obviously not as bad as China as they’re not disfiguring children but none of them are starving as you can get a free meal easily at places like food pantries, churches, food stamps, etc. They just want cash to buy drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, etc.
I've only seen adults where I live in the US. Strange.
I wouldn't say what happens in the US is similar to China. Gangs in the US have better things to do than herd fake homeless.
China has more than three times the population of the US. So more beggars and poverty in China.
How can they treat children like that! They are literally destroying their future 😢

Individual life has zero value in a communist, corrupt dystopia.
because the childs future is of no concern, other than to serve their ill-gotten gains. they have literally enslaved the children to serve them. lets not forget, it is chinese culture to be responsible for and take care of their elders. also in countries where you do not have cheap readily available energy, the way they make up for it, is by having more man power, so lots more children. the more cheap and readily available energy a culture has, the better quality of life they have and longer they live

Ever since that day I’ve avoided homeless people and beggars like the plague. Exactly, and don't let any Socialist Liberals change that through bullying and guilt-trips.

the same is happening verywhere. In Italy near the entries of the supermarkets they have "work shifts", one leaves another one comes to his or her place. They are clearly "managed" by some criminal organizations. Everywhere it is like this. this is poverty and lack of education. I actually feel very sorry for these people, they just don't know how to do better.
Yes all of Europe has this issue mainly caused by Gypsies.
Crazy. I haven't seen any children where I live in the US. Some just adults.
@@1faithchick7 i think the difference is, authorities would just take the kids away in america, and probably lock up the adults.
Those are the Roma gypsies...not to be confused with the city of Rome.
Incredible video! Hats off to you for stepping in and doing what needed to be done. Big respect! Happy holidays to you and the family!
Same in Canada, we have Indian Gangs sitting at the stop lights conning people out of their money.

Yuo, please stay safe! I've watched your videos for years and find them very enlightening. Thank you!
I’ve been homeless on and off for years in the past (domestic violence, other forms of abuse, illness etc) and I’m often disgusted by the behaviour of other people actually down in their luck but they have some semblance of justification, the fact they are exploiting disfigured and disabled people for a buck is wrong.
And it’s scary to think some of these people are trafficked, maimed and then forced out to be the sympathy story.
Fun fact: in the 70s, 1/3rd of GDP in SK was generated by selling booze and prostitution to the US soldiers.
It’s nerve racking but my anger and contempt for the gangs and how they treat children made me do it
