@@dcm5523 simply dont go china to many scams and hate towards foreigners so why should foreigners come to your country if you do so many terrible things to them and scam them it is not okay !
Whenever someone in a European city approached me with scams or just trying to get free English lessons, I would start speaking Czech at them. They disappear very quickly.
I tried something similar in Turkey, replying in German. The salesman then switched to German, of which I know very little. He got annoyed when he realised I was b/sing him...
I’ve seen the same American in Panama three times over ten years claiming he lost his passport. He actually recognized me the last time which I found hilarious.
@Person Hello dude, dont even bother, these people are too high up their asses that they wont listen to us. The've never even lived in china. Many european countries has the same problems as china like scammers, but they are gona pretend that they didnt notice. They are easily brainwashed by their media into hating China. If they hate China for being a "communist" country, then why wont they hate russia? Oh its because "russians are white and thus they look more intimidating, so we shouldnt fuck with them". I sometimes wish freedom of speech is not the thing it is today. That doesnt mean I support the tiananmen incident of course, i would hate for my own country's millitary to open fire on my own friends and family. But if the government had not done such a thing, the people wont know that the government are serious about not wanting their citizens doing stupid shit like this
Have lived in Beijing almost 4 years now. Basically, when anyone approaches you trying to sell or offer something just say "Bu yao (don't want), Bu yong (don't need), and Mei shi (no problem *I'm not intersted).
When traveling in unfamiliar or dangerous locations, I recommend keeping two wallets and phones. Keep the real deal against strapped against your chest and the cheap decoys a bit more accessible. It may just save you a lot of blood and tears.
This is just common sense anywhere. If you're walking about in a city people aren't just going to come up talking to strangers unless they want something from you.
Some really good advice here. I just love the way Collin bargains. Even though I've been out of the States for 3 years I'm still no good at bargaining. My first e-bike I paid 6,500 for when it shouldn't have cost more than 2,000. Oh well, live and learn. Stay awesome!
I want to give a advice, next time you want to buy something, try online shopping,it will save you the trouble of bargaining, you can buy almost angthing online,it is convenient.I recommend you "jd.com"
I've bought many things from Taobao so far and I'm quite satisfied with the service. I haven't heard of the site you recommended yet but I'll definitely give it a look. Thanks.
You should make some chinese friends to help you with bargaining, which is a great help. Bargaining is a culture for chinese though I did it bad for all my past years.
Yup, born in China, been back over 10 times. Besides seeing family and enjoying some cuisine, it's an extremely unpleasant experience from the moment you step off the plane.
I like to share a scam. This happened in Shanghai but it could also have happen in any China cities. Upon getting into a taxis and I am now talking about registered bona fide taxis you might run into a cammer (just like I did) and as soon as he or she makes you out to be a foreigner the taxi driver might suddenly stop just outside the airport and then begin fiddling with his taxi meter, If this was your first ride into that city you probably won't notice anything odd but if this was your one of many trips and if you do recalled the trip price, you will begin to notice that the price is now awfully high. Even if you dont assume that a scam has just started. The taxi driver did something to the meter an it is now racing forward. My recommendation is not to get into an argument with the driver at that point because you will lose on language alone and no police will help you. What you need to do is to let him take you to a hotel (a big hotel) then get out of the car, take our all your luggages and then call the doorman to deal with the situation or ask for the duty manager. The doorman at those big hotels usually speak English. Tell him what happened and let him deal with it. DO NOT PAY the taxi driver. Those doorman are trained to protect the guest and they know of such scams. 10 times out of 10 the matter will be resolved and you get to pay the taxi driver the "right" amount and the doorman will be able to tell you what the "right" amount is. But if you are not checking into a big hotel, just find one along the way (closer to your ultimate destination) make sure it is a hotel like Hyatt or Hilton or Marriots or any big hotels and pretend that you are checking in.
That one happened to me in Athens where We were treated to a tour of the city on our way to our Hotel. We just enjoyed the ride and got our lugggage out. then I handed the driver the correct amount,Thats when the fun began. He left in a big huff with his middle finger sticking up out the window. Boo Hoo.
Honestly don't take taxis, use the ride hailing apps like everyone in China does. Kind of like how people got sick of taxis in the US and switched to Uber it's the same thing there. I had some Beijing cab driver drop me off in the middle of nowhere because he clearly got lost and was too lazy to figure out how to get to the right place, and the cabs are almost always disgusting in China with dirty seats. They also hide the seatbelts and if you do have a seatbelt to wear it's likely filthy. I was using Uber all the time last time I went except for the cities it wasn't in. Uber no longer operates in China but the company that bought their Chinese operations has an English app now (Didi) so you're better off just using the ride hailing app for everything. That way there's no issues about how much the ride costs, you can see where you're going on your phone, and there's no incentive for them to do anything stupid. Obviously this will require you to either get a Chinese SIM card or have a phone plan that covers some international roaming but this GREATLY improves traveling in China. I tried to avoid all taxis last time I was in China but ended up at one point in a third tier city and Didi wasn't available to Americans yet at that point so I actually hailed a cab and while the driver was an honest guy the literally drove on the highway like they were in an actual race...and the cab was clearly in complete disrepair since I could literally hear the worn brake pads squealing like crazy every time he touched them. And of course there were no seatbelts so I started thinking that this would be the last cab ride of my life, lol.
I remember buying a geat looking china made Emergency lamp. I put it up for charging for around 6 hours. Returning back I found my room on fire. As the fire was just in my room I put it out fast. I lost my paasport and my bank documents in the fire. I am thankful the whole house did not burn down. After this I am wary of China made products at bargain prices. Better spend a little more than get your room and house get burnt.Even when you read the news you get news of mobile batteries catching fire in airplanes andusually these are of mobiles that we use on a daily basis.. edition.cnn.com/2017/05/31/us/jetblue-flight-fire/index.html
That's so true, I had the same incident. I waited in line on the Beijing airport for Registered taxis, got into one and the Taxi driver told me 120 Yuan for a distance less than 4 Kms. I said no, and asked him to go by meter. He looked at me and agreed and did something in his meter. As he drove his meter ran like anything and in just 5 minutes we reached our destination and the meter showed some 140 Yuan. I was like wtf. I got scammed.
Lived and worked in China for almost a year several years ago. I recognize the jade scam as part of the bus tour to the Great Wall. I didn't buy any jade though. But we did spend a lot of time there though. One of the first things I learned from a fellow expat when I arrived in China was not to ride those unmarked taxi cabs. Sure scam at the least or they might hold you up at the worst.
Great to see Collin in a Serpentza video. I knew Collin personally, he was a good friend of mine in middle school and part of high school. Anyways best of luck to both of you.

I've traveled in numerous countries in Africa and not been scammed. I like to think I'm savy, but also the people I encountered treated me fairly and weren't just out to rip me off. When they could have charged me more, they charged me the local rate. This video shouldn't dissuade you from exploring the world.
i moved from the UK to thailand recently and i am surrounded by scammers most of the day, but i dont have to pay for a license to watch TV here or pay ridiculous tax bills etc … you have a choice here to be foolish enough to be scammed but back in the UK i have no choice but to get scammed
spot on. The concept of doing the right thing seems very foreign to most Chinese people. Here end justifies means. And not even any good end. Just pure greed. So sad. I like your videos, because you let me see things in China from a new perspective. I am learning to view my country from a objective angle, freeing myself from former nationalistic sentiment. The upside of this is that my heart is not made of glass any more.
I have lived in many parts of China among the people. For most part, you are are right. Generally, they are good and inward looking people who struggle to make ends meet. The problem is the notion of cheating. In west and many parts of Christian world, cheating in any form is sin or crime that can drag you to hell or logically to prison or kill your worth of character as individual. In china they consider it as ultimate capitalistic art. It is as if they are outsmarting you and that you are dumb. No ethical nor religious or any legal premises can falsify that. It is part of the cultural upbringing. Even powerful Chinese government seems careless about it. Sadly, it kills the notion of China's greatness. That is why we see the scammers, cheaters, fakery in all forms, etc. Something Chinese people should take seriously. Because it kills the image of the country and the culture and breeds mistrust on Chinese products and services. As you said though, there are millions of good people with big heart. Very supportive and kind beyond average, but also let us never forget a little poisonous drop can contaminate the whole honey-jar. Thanks for the videos!
I disagree. In the West and most Christian world they believe it's their religion and their God will forgive them so long as their intentions are good. Also sinners can go through a process and just be forgiven for the worst crap. Places like Texas still believe the ends justifies the means.
To be honest I spend rather more money and buy genuine product mostly made in Europe or in other western country than the rubbish from China, there are so many china products in Europe, the quality is weak, just a bad copy, never buy food made in china, no china product can enter my home only if I need something for short usage and then it goes to rubbish bin and it must be cheap otherwise it is wastage of the money for me!
yeah...I used to admire Chinese culture but I realized that for the most part people have a very very different notion of what we call being honest in the west. MAybe government has a big role in this ideology but anyway, I hate it the feeling that it is money over everything. Of course there are millions and millions of good, nice honest people around though.
Thanks again, Winston. I know it's an old post, but I'm just watching it again. Do be careful, guys and girls, wherever you're from and whatever race you may be. There's a Chinese saying, "By being careful, we can sail a boat for 10,000 years." I guess it just means that being cautious all the time will take us a long way.
You gotta realize one thing about most Asian Countries is that they are used to seeing people that look like them. If you live in America you're used to seeing all races and ethnicities. Asia has mainly well, Asians. China has always been mainly Chinese residents, they've never been outside or invite people from outside. They're is a lot of the world they are missing out.

Having made numerous Tours through out China for a couple of decades, we soon learned that the Tour Bus operators got a CUT from everything we bought at their stops! Therefore we would just LOOK and buy nothing and later in the day do our own shopping, BARGAINING with the shop owners and getting good deals!
@Adrian Salazar that is called a tourist especially when somebody has been in a communist country but no rides everything is new to them, since the end of World War II they were locked up under the bamboo curtain they weren't getting out
I spent 14 years in China as an ESL teacher....black taxis will not only charge more, but if you put something like a computer in their trunk..they will drive off with it as soon as you exit the black taxi. Also, some cheeky beggars are not what they seem...also, fake monks...and on and on....you must aggressively protect yourselves in some situations...however, the local people that sell food products are usually honest. Be on your guard in train stations and bus stations...they will still your luggage....briefcase, wallet, etc....they are very quick...and will take advantage if you do not guard your stuff. Also, if you lose your wallet or briefcase the police are worthless...even if they understand English...they may even laugh at you...yep...happened to me in Guangzhou.
I've lived in China 20 years, seldom been stolen something by beggars or thieves. Maybe u are foreigner, they think u have a lot of cash in wallet. Just like my wallet has been stolen in Pairs. Just wanna say scams exist everywhere, guard carefully on u stuff, and enjoy life.
He is a liar. Most of the case, I don’t think it is scam. There are discrimination against tourists, or specifically foreigners everywhere, sometimes in the form of overcharge. It could be because there is a discount which is actually the subsidies from the government to pay back the taxes from folks. It could be because you are from a higher income class. You should acknowledge that a bargain is a bargain and when you can get good deal there must be people who are not happy with the offers. If you don’t want to get scammed, you can go to the standard market with price tag! If you want to take advantage of bargaining, you need to be aware of the possibility of getting scammed. Simple concept, simple trade-off. It makes perfect sense everywhere. If you don’t understand, I doubt if you are a qualified businessman or you have other insidious proposes!
Thanks for reminding us all, that we must be aware at all times, not paranoid, but just aware when we are travelling in unfamiliar places that we do not get taken
@nut meg - really because there are cities in Europe where you can literally put a cell phone on a park bench to see what happens and the first thing someone will do is pick it up and take it to a police officer.
I used that in India, which is full of solicitors, not necessarily scammers, but they all want the foreigner's money. "Mister, Mister...", "No hablo ingles..." (looks of shock)….

Haven't heard of that one for a few years. I used to get emails every day from someone wanting to use you as a conduit to ship out millions of dollars but have not received any such emails for a long time. The scam du jour is the "we have found a virus in your computer" kind. Or "your" bank wanting to verify your username and password for security purposes.
A perfect story. Had two friends who were boxing promoters and they had met a Nigerian prince. They were working on some kind of deal with him and he invited them back to his Hamptons home in New York. They go to this mansion and he lets them in. They talk for awhile. He then tells them he is waiting for the Nigerian bank to send him money. Could then advance him 25 grand. They did. They went back to San Diego and waited. Nothing so they went back to the Hamptons. Knocked on the door of the house and a white man answers. Yes.? Whoops. Ha ha ha. The Nigerian had learned the owners would be in Europe in the Summer and he moved in. Behind every great fortune lies a great crime. Behind every great crime lies a Nigerian. Also, all of you. There are two big questions in life. How did we get here and where do the Chinese buy.?
They have tried the tea scam om me in Shanghai. The called it a tea festival. Don't fall for it. I didn't as when I was invited for the 3rd time I googled it. And sure thing. Common scam. They always approched is by asking us if we could take a photo of them. After the picture, the convo started and the invite to a tea festival around the corner. Just be awere and use your vitts!
That's the high road Winston I remember. Facts, explanation, analysis, accurate. From my experiences with Chinese women and Chinese in general. Money is priority with them, and any scam they can think of to take advantage.
What about the scam where they like to lay down in front of peoples cars and pretend they got run over 🤣 such a blatent and desperate attempt for money
Lol. Never seen it and it's not even been mentioned before your garbage comment, so I call bullshit. Not to the degree of scammers in China, obviously.
Every country has positive aspects and negative ones. Life is short, so I try to focus on and enjoy the positives. I have enjoyed staying in Shanghai for much of the past 20 years and appreciate that most Chinese people have made me feel welcomed.
Yeah, I fell for the 2 "students" and tea house routine. Walked to tea house - host showed pricing (300RMB ea (47.61USD at the time)) Lucky for me, I'm not a stupid or naïve traveler (always carry a fake wallet (with an expired Driver's license & credit card plus minimal cash) specifically for robbery - but it works for scams too. I agreed to the 300RMB. Both girls decided to "buy" tins of tea. When bill was presented, they asked how I wanted to split it up. I told them I'd pay my 300, rest is up to them. They wanted me to pay for portion of their tea. I pulled out fake wallet, pulled out $300, showed them only 50 left, & told them I still had to get dinner - sorry. Having learned that lesson, whenever I have time to kill in China, I wander around, seeking scammers out. Lots of times THEY will rent a bicycle for me to ride with them to destination. When I look at the seedy "bar" or the tea house, I excuse myself - "Oh, I was here yesterday, thanks but I'll pass" - then ride away on bicycle they rented, back to near my hotel. You can typically get them to leave if you say Hey come back to my hotel, it has a nice quiet coffee bar to talk. Other things worth mentioning - 1) having been there 8 times, I have no issues with riding local buses (camera vest with zippered & locked pockets) - 2) I find all tourist/famous points of interest by foot or by subway have English signage. 3) All banks & hospitals have some English speakers. Moral is - don't be a stupid tourist, whether at home or abroad!! Happy travels
😎😎😝 I travel lots. always carry one fake wallet/purse. plus a hundred bucks or more pressed into a tiny folded piece... somewhere on body or pinned to underwear. AND in Mexico (or Hispanoamerica small chunk of BRIBE bills) ... Caveat: you Must know when, where and how to use Bribe$ so pleasantly get info from locals😒
Haha, that's still a quite bunch of things to learn for me about Chinese scams, although I already knew some of those as a native Chinese person who has lived in north China for more than 25 years.
For some that might be true, but It’s not even just because some one is a “foreigner”. There is an actual problem of “inconsiderate people” that exist everywhere no matter what. It is not okay to be a fraud.
I have lived outside my home country, travel to others 20+ years. I tend to agree. When you are a foreigner you are a target to that sort of person. The only thing is the size of the target and with that we have a bit of control. I also won't pose in photos and have had photos stolen and used. Tricky life some days...enjoy every bit of it.
It's particularly poor countries where you have lots of scammers making money out of (seemingly) wealthy tourists and visitors. You're much less likely to see such people in Western European countries, where the level of income is relatively high and immigrating foreigners are either poorer or not much wealthier than the locals. If so, it's often gypsies and other (poorer) ethnic minorities who pester you for a donation.
@@shockingblue55 You are so right. I spent 7 months traveling , slowly , all over Western Europe and Never met with Scammers. Saw some wild gypsies in Spain but they kept to themselves. Even in Morocco I did meet some little beggars but the people in the markets were all soooo nice and wanting to bargain with You. Nothing like this China Report in these videos.
We lived in Guangzhou for 2 years, after depositing a lot of saved cash we deposited it at the atm and 2 days later the money was gone! It was an inside job. Lucky for us our driver spoke English so my husband went to court and we managed to get 2 thirds of the money back. Took 8 months
This is a good comment for the people that say "If you are stupid, you will get scammed". How is depositing money in an ATM stupid? lol.. People need to look themselves in the mirror more often.
You used the court system ? You should have just paid someone to handle it for you. You would have gotten more back and faster. Your false western assumption about the justice system there cost you a lot of money. You tried to do the "right thing" in a land where this is not the right thing to do.
Similar to what happened to my father in China, some guys sold my father an iPhone, it was a real iPhone (they proved and showed my father that the iPhone was real, the camera was good, had AppStore, and such), it was cheaper as they told my father that it was a 'black market' iPhone (not taxed). When the transaction process was going on, they pretended as a Police came (they told my father that it was illegal to sell 'black market' phone), so they rushed my father to quickly finish the transaction. Once my father gave them the money, they gave my father a box of a brand new iPhone. Before they abruptly vanished, they told my father to just quickly go to his hotel so no one gets caught by the Police. My father went to his hotel quickly in confusion because he never saw any Police at that time. Once my father was in his hotel where he stayed, he opened the box and the iPhone was still there, he had no idea that it was swapped with the fake one. Once he came home in Indonesia, he showed me the phone. The box and the phone case were so real, not even a single difference with the real one (it also came with a manual book inside). Once I turned on that iPhone, it wasn't iOS, instead, it was a fake iPhone with Symbian OS, THE CAMERA WAS SO HORRIBLE, ESPECIALLY THE FRONT CAMERA THAT MADE EVERYONE LOOK LIKE A SHREK, and games can be downloaded not from the AppStore, but from the some Symbian Website available by default on its main menu disguised as an AppStore icon. I told my father it was fake and then he told me that story above. Then he laughed acknowledging how dumb he was.
No sympathy to those got scammed because of greedy. When you want to buy a cheap black market iPhone, you put yourself in risk. You deserve what you got. The disgusting scammers are those who take advantage of other people's kindness. When the others provided help, they scam. Some nice people always help, even though they knew the one being helped can be a scammer, but they still help just in case some people may really need help. They got scammed not because they are stupid or greedy, but because they are too nice for this ugly world. Those scammers should go to hell.
I didn't say "cheap", but "cheaper". With this means, they use lower price but reasonable. And my father never cares about technology like gadgets, computers, and stuff. And he never thought of getting an iPhone but those guys kept insisting to make him buy one. My father was just a tourist, he didn't get how "it" worked in some parts of China.
For a country full of people who ignore blatant kidnapping attempts that happen in front of them without batting an eye, they sure don’t know how to ignore a camera.
Deus Ex Dude, defaming or deifying a culture will never make this guy look smarter, especially when he knows nothing about it. Sun Tzu's ideology doesn't produce scammers or cheaters, only poverty and unfairness do. All crimes or inappropriate behaviors are nothing but a dirty way to survive, which are widely used by all poor people in this world.

The truth is, all Chinese people are brought up to be loyal to the Government And believe it or not, most of Chinese people don't have a reading habit and they don't give a crap to the ancient books like SunTzu. The hatred for Chinese is exactly the same as it for the Jewish people, you feel we are evil just because you guys always lose in the game of capitalism. It happens everywhere. For example in Madrid, young girls approached me with some papers, trying to convince me to sign petitions for something, but the goal is actually to surround you and visually cover (with those papers) your shoulder bag, pockets or whatever you have and grab from it whatever they can. Luckily I noticed ...and using girls is not just to distract you with their appearance, but also to avoid beating, which would certainly happen otherwise.
I learned more about Chinese society (and financial culture) from watching Chinese TikTok videos when they started getting uploaded to RUclips, and the number of prank videos involving swiping people's cash while they are counting it was surprisingly large.
I was in Hangzhou as an exchange student a while back. I used to buy fruit at the local open air veg market. One day I was waiting to pay and the seller was in heated discussion with the customer ahead of me. And I noticed that as the seller was pushing her point with the customer, her hand just happened to be on the scale weight, making the customer's purchase appear a bit heavier. So I put my hand on the seller's hand, and countered, ever so slightly. She whipped her head around and saw my face-must have been a bit of a shock. But she said nothing to me, nor I to her. She took her hand off the scale, and let the customer pay a fair price. Then I quietly paid up and left.
I've never had an issue in Beijing, but Shanghai...I've spent about 4 weeks in total in Shanghai, and been approached so many times by people trying to scam me.
Years ago in China I went by a jewelry shop and saw a Rolex watch in the window, went in and "checked it out", it was a Chinese COPY, but not too badly done....after I let the shop owner KNOW that I "knew" it was a COPY we started to bargain, he wanted the equivalent of about $200.00 USD for the FAKE Rolex, after 15 minutes of bargaining I left paying him a little less that $20.00 USD. Still have the watch in my "collection" today, it STILL runs but of course doesn't keep accurate time!

Yes, my friend. I’ve experienced at least half of what you mentioned. Those who follow you for miles to beg for money or sell something were a real nuisance. I always carried an empty wallet with me. When someone asked for money or tried to sell something, I would show them my empty wallet and ask them for money instead. They would then leave me alone. I can recommend this effective method. Just carrying an empty wallet is enough
I never bargain while on vacation.
He didn't text while driving? If they do that they'll probably not need the brakes anyways (or have time to use them).

Would NEVER want to go the China 🇨🇳 🙄
@johan jc it's the upbringing and the nations value of a persons character. Atheist or not, they still would most likely have judeo-christian Values

Yeah the fake bank/paypal login scam, I fill those forms in with fake info, multiple times.
Somewhere out there an actual Nigerian prince's got his money stuck into an account and nobody will help because the scammers gave them all a bad name

Every country has positive aspects and negative ones. Life is short, so I try to focus on and enjoy the positives. I have enjoyed staying in Shanghai for much of the past 20 years and appreciate that most Chinese people have made me feel welcomed.
I think it is safe to walk on Chinese streets 1 AM in the mornings. But it could be lethal to do the same in American cities.

Haha, that's still a quite bunch of things to learn for me about Chinese scams, although I already knew some of those as a native Chinese person who has lived in north China for more than 25 years.
Scammer are everywhere anywhere. But you'll find it more on foreign country. Why? Because you are foreigner, you are their prime target.
@@shaxle018 lol where do u live
Hospitality is a very important reflection of the culture of a people.
Accurate Mediator HD CH1 ummmm, NO! Not all “long noses” are rich my friend 🙄 ignorant much
wow damn amazing & that is one scary thing omg
God bless you.
You used the court system ? You should have just paid someone to handle it for you. You would have gotten more back and faster. Your false western assumption about the justice system there cost you a lot of money. You tried to do the "right thing" in a land where this is not the right thing to do.
There was a scene in Monty Python's Life of Brian where someone is trying to buy something at a market and the vendor pesters him to haggle with him.

stupid
Alecasaurus Rex where are you from
I Have just removed China from my bucket list to travel unless I learn the language first . Thank you
Similar to what happened to my father in China, some guys sold my father an iPhone, it was a real iPhone (they proved and showed my father that the iPhone was real, the camera was good, had AppStore, and such), it was cheaper as they told my father that it was a 'black market' iPhone (not taxed).
Should review oneself, if be not oneself covet cheap, how can be cheated. All unreasonable profits are not to be trusted.
@@feizhao7512 Agreed!
2.4k chinese scammers disliked this video lmao
Come on, not necessarily from Chinese, you know that RUclips has been blocked in mainland China
No that was actually just one scammer lol
Kevin Lim it was the same guy 2.4k times. New account each time. Time well spent.
yes, like twitter, very small company which is even not available in China.lol.
Kevin Lim because you. Exsport them,
Some of your videos are so long, but I always watch them to the end.
Great work .Thanks!
Videos like this, I never want them to end, lol I could listen to him for ages.
For a country full of people who ignore blatant kidnapping attempts that happen in front of them without batting an eye, they sure don’t know how to ignore a camera.
Thanks for all the warnings! great video
Dan T Lol
Dan T you stay on in your trailer you jobless mug!
All those Chinese staring at the camera... I feel like their looking into my soul lol
You would make a great James Bond, Serpentza 😊
"Fortune never pays a visit, shit always happens."
Living with this principle in China, and you will never be scammed lol.
Deus Ex I guess you are talking about China in another universe lol.
The truth is, all Chinese people are brought up to be loyal to the Government
And believe it or not, most of Chinese people don't have a reading habit and they don't give a crap to the ancient books like SunTzu.
The hatred for Chinese is exactly the same as it for the Jewish people, you feel we are evil just because you guys always lose in the game of capitalism.
Only poor and obedient Asians are good Asians, have I expressed your idea?:)
Deus Ex Lol, the word " racism" was even created by European, and a guy who just called another country shithole is here telling me that his hometown is the most tolerant place in the world.
You really made my day Lmao.
The fact is there're no other nations performing more genocides than white countries did, and you guys are doing nothing but redeeming for what you've done in the past 300 years.
Sincerely wish you could have a great time with your refugee buddies.
I've been living in China since the time I was born, and I have never got even a penny from western countries, I say whatever I want.
Btw, it was the great famine killed 50 million people from 1958 to 1960, not concentration camp, read some more books dude.
Deus Ex "which most Asians consider low IQ" does this apply to every single person in the countries u are talking about what about Japanese and Korean where they supposedly very welcome to guests and hospitable. I've never been there but from what I heard. How can u generalize an entire country of ppl based of the actions of a few. I am from India and over there are plenty of scammers but most of them are centered around tourists areas and most of them are poor uneducated to begin with themselves. If they were smart and educated and not poor they probably wouldn't be scamming ppl on the side of the street. Expand your world view mate
That's a horrible way to think!
sometime ago I was in Southern China, crossing betwn Macau, there was this big big complex where you can buy almost anything you can think of, I chose a Jacket
and after paying and left with a packet and plastic bag, back in the hotel when I open it, there was this terible smell from the piece , I knew the packet must have been swapped, when I was not looking....so people out there..watch out...
“If you can cheat, then cheat.” Wow. Nothing like the quotes you hear from the wise old monks in old king fu movies.
This video is so useful. Thank you.
15:38 - damn she just brushed him off. LMAO
I would've threw my drink at her face lol
no no no, thats kind of funny and cute tho, i believe the girl and the dude know each other, it just banter :D
Or he's trying to get her to buy a drink she doesn't want.
Great information.
Scammers everywhere not just in China.
Beijing was the worst, but when I lived in Shenzhen you had to be pretty careful too.
I've never had an issue in Beijing, but Shanghai...I've spent about 4 weeks in total in Shanghai, and been approached so many times by people trying to scam me.
merinsan it’s common all over, but I just try to remember that it’s not personal and these people need to make a living somehow
I saw scammers in London and stupid me I was scammed.
Yeah, the clip shop scams in Shanghai were annoying.
The Guy Understanding To Chinese Is Beyond Most Chinese。
Years ago in China I went by a jewelry shop and saw a Rolex watch in the window, went in and "checked it out", it was a Chinese COPY, but not too badly done....after I let the shop owner KNOW that I "knew" it was a COPY we started to bargain, he wanted the equivalent of about $200.00 USD for the FAKE Rolex, after 15 minutes of bargaining I left paying him a little less that $20.00 USD. Still have the watch in my "collection" today, it STILL runs but of course doesn't keep accurate time!
I went to China on a 3 week trip after watching dozens of serpenzas videos (thx) regardless after 4 days I'd had enough and returned home. Overall I found China disgusting, and while there may be good people there overall their attitude was give me your money.
You definately went to the wrong places. Probably only tourist hotspots etc.
If you would go to the countryside this would be completely different
@@JustLIkerapunzel I went to Shenyang to visit my Chinese girlfriend. While I would have loved to have soaked up the culture and history I was not in the right "company" and as you stated the wrong place, I got taken to the wholesale market and a shopping mall. She was not interested in cultural or historical places, shame but I did not feel comfortable enough to travel alone so I just bailed back to the safety of the southern California beaches. In the city it's like one giant market where everyone was just looking to make a fast buck, probably safer in the country?
capowacko Imma tell you rn bro for your own good, she’s using you. She’s dating a guy halfway across the world and when you visit all she wants to do is go to shopping malls and markets, I ain’t sayin she’s a gold digger... you know the rest. I live in a navy town and have seen navy dudes get taken advantage of by women they met overseas in Asia way too many times.
@@Thechildishmandingo I actually met her in the states but after 2 days I could see this was not going to be a typical sight seeing trip, took me two more days to get out, lol.
@@capodad2u Shenyang LMAO hahaha. Even the CCP government has abandoned that shithole lol. One tip from a Chinese: Dont go anywhere above Beijing on the map. The far eastern regions is long gone. My mother was originally from Harbin which is part of the Helongjiang province there. She went back to visit her birthplace last year, when she came back she said she will never go back again. In terms of manner or human decency it is the worst out of all China. Personally I dont even recommend to go to Beijing, people there also have some poor manner and scams. Shanghai, Hongkong, Shenzhen, Chengdu and Guangzhong are the best cities in my opinion.
Saw you on a Collin Abroadcast video today
+Chargers Hackenberg cool!
My grandma got scammed by buying a supposedly no-seed watermelon on the side of the street but the watermelon had heaps of seeds. 😢😢😢😢😢
I never bargain while on vacation. I understand that in many countries or cultures it is something that is expected, but the way I look at it is that I have to negotiate and argue daily at my job so when I am away from it I simply don't want to be doing what I am doing everyday and want to stay away from it as far as possible.
From you own mouth YOU have proven YOU are a FOOL!
Bargaining is sooooo funnnnn. You’re missing out
you look like Jason Statham bro.
where the hell he parked the limo.
LMAO
Bargaining is not scamming. I appreciate all the other true scam content warnings.
I work w/a lot of Chinese suppliers. So much of this is spot on.
The best way to turn those scammers away is saying "¿Español?" or "no entiendo". Problem solved, speaking Spanish has plenty of advantages 😎😎
Чего говоришь?
I would just start reciting satanic spells in Latin
As a Spaniard I done this many times
Just recite the latin bible.
