Another excellent piece of craftsmanship Ssgt. I still say you are one of the few that could pack an elephant into a Volkswagen and have room to spare. Awesome work and thank you for sharing.
I work on leather quite a bit I really really like your videos I hope you keep posting a lot more of these you're giving me more designs for my own creations and opening up my mind
Good job. I'm a leather crafter and, while different, that was well done! I'd wax that flash light, then wet the leather to mold. Once dry, it'll slide out beautifully.
I have two brothers that are into survival gear and the like. Over the years I have watched and listened while noticing that they never discuss or really even have stuff for bitter cold weather. So when the big collapse occurs and society takes the big flush...and survivalists are the ones left clinging to the rim....let's hope it's nice a.sunny outside.
Great job! I have never really been a fan of "leather type" items but you did an excellent job or creating that kit. Thanks for the slow motion process. Keep it up!
This piece turned out very nice. I found your hand stitching method very interesting. I love seeing new ways of accomplishing leather craft. Andrew in Omaha, NE
Badass. Your videos and editing have come such a long way in such a short amount of time since I starting watching this channel. Excellent work. Keep it up. Thanks for sharing this design.
That's totally awesome, would double as a killer fire kit on your belt, altoids tin , etc..love your builds and at the same time ever so slightly envious, lol...love your leather work.
A very cool piece of kit, well made and easy carry. Excellent work also. 10/10 from me. I do love these kind of tool kits especially in leather. Even if the S**t does *not hit the fan this is so practical for outdoors and everyday camping.
Awesome work!!! Keep it up! Been watching your videos for at least a year and a half, excellent topics, sweet leather goods, keep up the great work BA!
As always, that came out great. I got on here today to look for your leather craft video where you made the sheath for the kukri. Good Stuff, God Bless Brother.
Great skills, I figured at the start you had the the background to be ready for whatever you come across in your day! Guessed military training before I saw your tats. I carry pretty much your kit also but still haven’t found the right pouch. Problem solved... don’t have your leather skills, but I’ll put one together, have all winter to plan! Thanks, great job brother.
I've made something similar but based it off of the original nylon sheath for the leatherman. It's more suited for my area of work where it contains the leatherman wave+, bit plates and extension, sharpie, penlight, and full size bic lighter. I used elastic strip and made them into loops to hold the pieces onto the side of the sheath. I love your design and will reference if for my next sheath :)
Nice! I'm trying to come up with a design for a somewhat multi-tier pocket organizer for the front pants pocket. Not as a survival kit, per se, but just as something to help keep my pocket flashlight, pocket knives (I generally carry a couple), small, folding diamond hone, mini-bic or Zippo etc. from just rattling around in my pocket. I often pocket carry (when I am not at work) so that leaves only one front pocket to hold the other stuff. I already have a cellphone and (also when I am not at work) a fixed blade on my belt so I don't always want to add anything else there. I want my pocket organizer to hold everything in place but be thin enough that it won't make my pocket bulge. The way you built the rear compartment on this has given me some ideas. I could probably even add a couple more, small items without adding to the bulk if I come up with a smart enough design. Oh, and a couple days after this was posted and there are 4 people who have hit thumbs down? I figure those four people are either jealous of your skills and abilities or maybe they are 'professional' leather workers who are pissed that you are showing the process. Dangit, B.A. - how dare you show that such things can be built without having thousands of dollars in specialized equipment?
Oh, and have you seen the Altoids Arctic tins? I couldn't tell how much room you really had left in the main compartment but one of those might make a good container in which to build your mini-kit for water purification, etc. www.candywarehouse.com/assets/item/large/arctic-peppermint-altoids-128116-im1.jpg
That was awesome SSgt B.A. great craftsmanship. Looked like that light gave you a bit of a tough time. Gotta have those right Tolerances though otherwise stuff is as good as a soup sandwich. Thanks for sharing awesome video!
Nice job Bra ! Just a note I've found those belt clips unreliable , the pouch can fall of at times ! But a simple piece of leather folded and riveted with saddle rivets is never coming off ,even when running ! :) Peace from Oz .
Hello there BA Here's a thought I've had: In all the prepping videos I've seen not one person has touched on the subject of looking after/treating leather goods such as our boots - the Most Important piece of kit we will have. What would you suggest? How would you keep your boots in good serviceable condition in a bug-out situation, once your tin of polish had run out? What would you use? It just occurred to me that folk are recommending all this 'must have' kit, but haven't even talked about boots. Love your work, love your vids Keep em coming Shed
Can't speak for the channel, but I am personally fond of a modified "Gunny's Paste" recipe for waterproofing and treating leather and canvas. Works great on wood, as well, though you're probably less interested in that.
this and the tracker sheath are awesome... great to watch how you work. you got me inspired i am waiting on some leather from Tandy.. gonna make come blade covers and i might try a tracker sheathe too.. i want a ambidextrous scout carry .. so i can draw from my back or draw from my left hip... the factory standard is a little limited.. we'll see ... thanks J
Really like this video and the case you made. I do leatherwork as well, only been doing it maybe two years. Basically knife sheaths and holsters. Just did a full sheath with a strap for an Agawa Canyon Boreal 21" folding saw and a axe head sheath and a holster to carry the axe. Again great video and I really like that pouch!
Pack it full of tannerite and shoot it with a rifle. We will find out if it is bomb proof.
AAAAAAAHHH HA ha ha That's Hysterical!!!!! Your funny 🤣😂😅!!!!
Too many people playing with their computers people are forgetting . How to truly use their hands and create wonderful things
Glad to see the stitching and not relying on glue.. Very nice craftsmanship.
Thank you
Awesome work. Glad I found your channel.
Thank you

Good job. I'm a leather crafter and, while different, that was well done! I'd wax that flash light, then wet the leather to mold. Once dry, it'll slide out beautifully.
Yeah I wet the loop and opened it up more for the light

People who hit the thumb down usually hate everyone and sometimes it's a channel that's upset I know how to do things.
